      try setting color overlay on your image to black, bump up your print settings to photo quality(youve probably already have done that) the canon doesnt print as dark as epson but i havent had any problems with exposure, as long as you get a decent black you should be able to expose with no problem, also try adjusting your exposure settings,ie time,lighting and screen distance to lighting

    Is it still more cost effective over the long run over a eco-cartridge system that you could just fill with BlackMax ink or equivalent?

    • @KingPrint
      @KingPrint  Před 3 lety +2

      i think eco might be more exp. just because of the printer price, you can throw a ciss kit on this printer and run all chambers with black ink,, personally I dont like the the blackmaxx system because it limits your printer capability's , you would only be able to use it for film positives, i just change my print settings when printing positives, and keep all ink oem

    • @KingPrint
      @KingPrint  Před 3 lety +4

      Maybe the print head starting to clog, what I do is soak a shop towel with windex w/ammonia and put it under the print head over night, if you take the towel off and there's a lot of ink on it, you had a clog( don't wipe or scrub print head, the fumes from the ammonia will do all the work)

    This is a really good printer czcams.com/users/postUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 . The reason I gave 4 stars for tech support (which I don't think this would classify as tech support) is because once you turn the printer on, it does require a little bit of start up time which may bother some who are in a hurry to quickly print something. To offset that though the printer prints very quickly. I would definitely purchase this printer again.
