He probably means he had it on the lowest setting:)) we did this with my dog and she was perfectly fine. We had to put it on a higher setting than this bc she was already a rly big dog but, it didn’t affect her health it just helped her learn her boundaries so she wouldn’t run away:))

how long would it take to fully train a 2 year old dog to this. i don’t have a ton of time since my dog lives with my dad but he says i’m the one who needs to train her to the new electric fence.
I like the use of the word "tickle" -- it helps make it seem more kid friendly.

These collars have 3 modes of warning, 1, is a beep. 2 is a vibration similar to a cell phone getting a text or call. 3 is the actually zap.

I have an English mastiff and she was already like 2 years old when we trained her with it and we turned on a medium setting:))

We own Dogwatch Hidden Fences of South Florida. We typically do a 5 day training with dogs with about 2 weeks of supervision afterwards
