The killer instinct is something to work on with prog. At 9:41 on your first trade you had a guaranteed elimination on white, which would have forced in the 20 trade and more than recouped the cost of that kill.
Progressive is inherently a predatory mode. Killing players in that sweet spot when the cards are worth it. Caring about bonuses on classic map after the first round of trades doesn't matter much since the sets become so large so quickly and the game will usually be over on turn 7-9.
The kill you made on green (27 troops for 3 cards) is arguably worse than taking either purple or blue (36,37 for 4). You likely had the troops for a double kill that turn, either blue/purple and the green bot if you were lined up properly. Which would have forced a trade, allowed you to kill the other 4 card player and sweep by finishing red that turn.
Also you definitely did craft a noob friendly lobby with the 3min timer ;)
It was a bold move to kill purple but you take a 53 v 49 on a guaranteed trade 100% of the time.
It all worked out and hindsight is definitely 20/20. I just wanted to show you two opportunites that I noticed in this game.

When you killed green, you could have even killed blue and board swept! If you'd pathed differently you could have triple tapped blue with your three stacks.

It’s funny how much of a “I’m going to get full sent” mindset he has even though that doesn’t exist it is funny that he calculates troops and not the position because he has played territorial for so long lol incredible tho great vid.

Some advice I can give you CG would be, in progressive, keep your wilds if you can (you got one when you killed purple, but it was also the last turn so it didn't matter) as it allows you back to back trade-ins. And also with progressive shoot to take out someone when you will be able to cash it again and when their troop count is similar or less than the card bonus. And once the game crosses into the 50s on card bonus continents are not valuable unless it's the big space maps. Splitting your army in half to hold South America for +2 vs having your whole army available to attack is more valuable. With you whole army availiable to attack you can easily take someone out for more troops via card than the continent will and also can prevent someone else from winning that way. As in this game it was you or purple winning that last turn

CG when playing progressive, try to maintain multiple spread out positions in order to make yourself difficult to kill. If you see killing someone is beneficial for the cards, do it. Great job!

Someone should make a digital boardgame like Risk but each player have nukes. But when they use the nuke, the land can't be occupied anymore.
people would abuse that and nuke crossings

There is problem that you are doing only one attack per turn try to do more attacks .
Why is it a problem? In progressive getting cards and stacking as many troops as possible is the most important thing, not taking territory. You only need to take one territory to get a card. Taking more than that just wastes troops that you could otherwise be stacking.
