Perfume content is my favourite. So happy for a Jamie Paige perfume list!
đ„°yay!!
My wife is suuuuuper sensitive to scents - to the point that Iâve had to stop using certain hair products because it sets her off, so forget about perfumes - so Iâm watching this with heart eyes and longing sighs. đ Even though Iâm on a permanent no buy, I still love hearing about other peopleâs favo(u)rites, so thank you for this. Happy weekend, all!
I definitely make my husband smell all my perfumes before I buy them - the wrong kind can set off his migraines, so Iâm with you!!
Glossier You is such a lovely scent in the fall and winter. Itâs musky but light and I always get compliments when I wear it âșïž
Love this type of video!! With so many new cream bronzers available, I would love to see an updated video of you ranking your cream bronzers. And a video ranking cream/liquid highlighter would also be great đ
I just recently started to get into perfumes and my favorite has been the Dolce Gabbana The Only One. Itâs the perfect mixture of sweet and warm. Perfect for fall. Love this video, Jamie! I added a few of these to my wishlist.
So happy you did this video. Thanks for the recs! Iâm obsessed with replica scents. By the fireplace is my go to for winter and beach walk for summer. But my new favorite from them that I never hear anyone talk about is under the lemon trees! Itâs so fresh and lovely and somehow still has a nice warm undertone. Very unique scent
Love fragrance content! My forever favourites are Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt, Tom Ford Black Orchid, and Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb. Really want to try Rose 31, seems very much up my alley.
JM Wood Sage and Sea Salt is *chef's kiss*. it's one of my go-to scents in the summer when i don't want anything too heavy. i tend to go for more fresh and fruity scents (Hermes Un Jardin Sur le Nil and Hanae Mori Butterfly EDP are my faves alongside the Jo Malone) in the summer, but my go-to scent in the cooler months is Glossier You. it's just such a warm and cozy scent like a hug or a soft sweater.
Thanks so much for doing this Jamie, I have a new found love and appreciation for scents in my sixties. Also Iâve realized my taste has changed in that deeper more sophisticated and complex scents now appeal to me whereas throughout most of my adulthood fresh clean fragrances were my choice. Tom Fordâs ombrĂ© leather was the game changer. Iâm not exactly sure how that would be classified, strong maybe, as Iâm still learning but undaunted despite always being intimidated in the past.
Iâve waiting for this video for soooo long đ„čđ„čđ„čđ„č I love hearing about other peoples favorite fragrances since I am a fragrance lover ( a picky one though )
A few of my absolute favs are
Glossier - You
Pinrose - Pillowtalk Poet
Tom Ford - Lost Cherry
YSL - Black Opium Nuit Blanche
MAC - CrĂšme de Nude
Yesss! Love love love fragrance videos (even though I wish âsmell-o-visionâ existed). Gypsy Water from Byredo is my forever favorite. I get complimented whenever I wear it. It starts out super fresh with juniper and pine then settles into a comforting creamy vanilla, amber, and sandalwood. I think if you have similar tastes to Jamie youâd really like it. Gris Charnel from BDK is also a really cool smelling fragrance. Perfect balance of spice, cream, and wood. Thereâs also a fig and tea note that really stands out. Both are âcool girlâ borderline unisex fragrances.
gypsy water is soooooo great!!
Gris Charnel is so stunning! Perfect cozy, cold weather fragrance.
Can confirm that Gris Charnel is amazing!
Weâre going to need more fragrance content going forward! Loved this đđ
yay! thanks love!
And side noteâŠthe lighting and backdrop and vibes of this is âšamazing.âš beautifully made!
Love how you described the perfumes! Rose 31 is definitely high up on my list, and the Chloe scent is so nostalgic for me too!
I love watching perfume videos so much and I think you did this perfectly! Hope to see some more in the future. Iâm really intrigued about the Jo Malone scent, need to try that out đ€
Loved this vid! Le Labo Rose 31 is also one of my faves and is so nostalgic for me because it reminds me of my wedding day. I also love Penhaligonâs Vaara perfume which has rose notes but is grounded with sandalwood and musky base notes! Not perfume related but the transitions remind me of like opening credits to a thriller tv show LOL
I'm big on fragrance especially when I get to hear about some different brands. My favorite is Replica By the Fireplace. I've been trying out some indie brands and there was a limited edition scent by a brand called sixteen 92 called Highgate Cemetery (earl grey, lavender, juniper) that I loved. Wished it was a little longer lasting though.
Love this â€ïž. Another great video Jamie!
omg finally someone with my taste in perfume! canât wait to try these thank you!
More perfume content please!!! Itâs my new love over the last few months and I enjoy seeing what everyone is loving
I also love vanilla musk đ Iâm on my second bottle- Iâm interested in rose 31 now!
Oh yes! Le Labo Rose 31 is gorgeous. I also love Chloe, Guerlain Mandarine Basilic and Guerlain Sparkling Bouquet. Starting to get into Baccarat Rouge 540 and Mon Guerlain, but citrus sweet are my favorites.
My new found love is Replica Autumn Vibes, itâs woodsy so more appropriate for fall and it makes me look forward for fall! I also love Atelier Cologne Pomelo Paradis for my everyday scent. Love the video as always â„ïž
FINALLY I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS VIDEO!
Omg Jamie Iâve been wanting to dabble and explore in perfumes for the first time and I had no idea where to start! This is such perfect timing!
yay! i hope this is helpful :)
Very nice selection, and Rose 31 is beautiful! It's one of the only florals I'd wear because it's so smooth and woody, and not overly floral.
Day to day, I don't always like strong fragrances, so I'll go for something like Molecule 01 (just iso e super), or Milky Musk from Parle Moi de Parfum. It's an understated, but really delicious creamy sandalwood. You kind of have to be into the creamy, lactonic fragrances to enjoy that one, but that's my favorite category.
YEAY! I'm waiting for that since ages! â„
Jo Malone is hands down the best ever! It smells like heaven and people always comment on the scent. I actually picked this up because you had mentioned it some time ago. Thank you for the recommendation.
Vanille Incensee is my signature scent! Another perfume I love is by Acqua De Parma - Bergomotto Di Calabria. It is such a lovely citrusy scent, bright and juicy and very feminine. â„ïž
I love how fragrance can transport you to memories from your past or even daydreams of places youâve never been, I love Blackberry and Bay by Jo Malone because it smells like my childhood. My favourites are Jo Maloneâs Dark Amber and Gingerlily and Elizabeth and Jamesâ Nirvana Rose, I get compliments every time I wear them.
I loveee this Jamie!
Ahhh.. you have NO IDEA how long I've been wanting a video like this! My favorite perfumes I no longer can get and now need to find replacement items!
Would loveee more fragrance reviews Jamie! This was wonderful.
I am ALL about this video! Can we get a part two?
Okay but how did you know I am going through a perfume phase right now?? This video is awesome, love it!!
i gotchuuuu
Jo Malone Wood Sage and Sea Salt was my wedding scent! Love love love it!
Love this video! Also already love like 70% of your collection â€
i keep feeling like i need to start wearing perfume more, perfect timing!
also i love your hair in this, i have a similar hair type- hope you can do a video soon on how you style!
You introduced me to the Nemat Vanilla Musk Oil and I love it! Thank you :)
Iâm on the opposite side of the spectrum and I like my perfumes dark, decadent and mysterious! All time favourites are Tom Fordâs Tobacco Vanille and Noir de noir but I also ADORE MFK Oud Satin Mood!! Not a citrus person whatsoever!đ
Love perfume videos!! đ«¶đ»â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
Keep them coming Jamie!đ„°âš
I get the exact same memories from the Chloe Rose perfume...it was the only fragrance I wore for yearsss! Giorgio Armani Si is now my go-to for the Spring and Summer and I love the Replica Coffee Break scent for Autumn/Winter đ
I'm usually into fresh and sweet/citrusy scents but I really wanted to find a warm scent for Fall and Winter. I had heard a lot of good things about Replica's By the Fireplace and it changed my mind about warm/smokier scents. It has become one of my favorite.
i love the 7 virtues fragrances. vanilla woods and santal vanille are my go-to
ChloĂ© is one of my all time favorite fragrances đ
what a fun video ...and so well spoken
Love the vidđ€©
My faves areâŠ..
Replica Coffee Break and By the Fireplace
Philosophy Pure Grace
Aerin Ikat Jasmine
Donna Karan Cashmere Mist
Bobbi Brown Beach
Clean Warm Cashmere
Ariana Grande Cloud
I love perfume content so much! My favorite categories are citrusy-green, woody, and floral aquatic, but I truly appreciate every category except maybe for sweet gourmands because I live in a very hot country
Okay Jamie. This backdrop and the lighting in the new house is *chefâs kiss* đ©âđł đ
thanks kim!!
So enjoyed you content, beautifully presented. Thank youđ
My favourite perfume is Springtime in a Park. đ This perfume needs to be more hyped up
Impulsively purchased Rose 31 and Another 13 after watching this video đ I loved this video, you should definitely do more fragrance reviews/videos in the future
Honestly Jamie, I'm not even into perfumes but man the way you talk through everything and explain each one... I'm hooked, I love it. too bad I'm too broke to buy any of these right now đč
JAMIE!!! Iâve literally been craving for perfume video from you for so long - this is perfect. Thank you so so much, Iâd love to see some âSummer/winter favourite fragrancesâ in the future as well đ„°đ„°
noted!! :) thanks for watching, Laura!
I was looking for a straight vanilla fragrance before, and I remember you mentioning in a video that you picked up the Nemat oil at Whole Foods or something. I tried it, loved it, and have used it for years now. Watching this video, I feel like we have very similar tastes in fragrance. Will definitely be trying out some of these recommendations!
Great background, great lighting. You look so good !
thanks so much!
Loved this video
Going to have to check out Nar. Sounds yummy!!
Yes đ love â€ïž fragrance videos.
Yes yes yes!!!! I started collecting perfurmes to mark a milestone or a place when travelling. Thank you for sharing. I am also not a Rose/floral fan but Maison Francis Kurkdijan A'la Rose (also the h'omme version) is on point. If you can find it, try to get your nose on it.
Please more perfume content! Thank you for this video
Stunning video!!!!
more perfume content please!!!
That was so interesting! đ€©
Itâs very interesting Jo Malone wood sage and sea salt is a summer fragrance for you! On me it gives me more of a sea salt caramel vibe and itâs a total fall fragrance!
The background couldnât be more apt for this video âš
Jamie, I screamed when I saw the title of this video in my feed!! I'm a total fragrance nerd!!
Have you ever been to Etiket Boutique? I believe it's in Montreal, and they sell some of my absolute fav indie perfume brands. There are two perfumes from the brand Imaginary Authors that I think you'd love- Cape Heartache, which smells like being in a magic cedar/pine fairy ring, with maybe a few wild strawberry bushes growing around you. That fragrance seriously makes time stop for me. The other is Memoirs of a Trespasser, which is my perfect vanilla/wood fragrance. It has some myrrh and clay notes that make it so unique and standout. It's very strong, and I love mixing it with tobacco-type fragrances.
Thank you so much for posting this video!! I love it! I'm also curious to know if you use any diffusers or candles in your home (congrats on the new place!) and what your favourites are?
Yes!! their perfumes are so interesting. i will def check those out next time i go!
My current faves are Sunset Riot by All Saints and Kayali Eden Juicy Apple đ. The first reminds me of the scent of California and the second like a super fresh fruity delicious shampoo.
Hi Jamie, some of my favorite perfumes are Dior J'Aore, Valentino in Roma and Giorgio Armani Si in intense đđâ€
One floral perfume that is lovely is Good Girl Gone Bad by Killian. I find that the name doesn't match the scent because based on the name, I thought it would be a sexy nighttime scent, but it's actually very ladylike and classy. There's an osmanthus note in it, which gives it a slight apricot/peach vibe. I recommend đ
Me parecen muy fragantes estos tres videos, gracias por dejarme verlos
I am all about fresh, clean, crisp and citrusy perfumes and my all time favorite for the last 10+ years has been Dior Escale a Portofino, very closely followed by Loewe Miami and Chloe NeroliâŠ
Love Le Laboâ€ïžâ€ïž
I love this video!! Thank you for sharing, Iâve been obsessed with perfume and smelling good lately.
Also, where is your side cabinet from thatâs behind you?!
One of my favorite scents that I'm not sure anybody ever talks about is a throwback because it's been around for a long time is Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea. It holds a special place in my heart because it was the first fragrance I ever liked. I remember going through fragrance samples in magazines as a kid and they all smelled the same. But this one stood out. And as an adult it was the first fragrance I ever bought.
Great gym freshie!!!
omg i used to wear that Chloe perfume all the time years ago. My 3 favorites fragrances to wear are By the Fireplace (the candle is amazing too!!), Tom Ford F***ing Fabulous and Baccarat Rouge- Iâve got the yellow and red versions of BR. I actually had two girls on an electric scooter chase me down across the plaza the other day to ask what it was (baccarat). Iâve even had a guy serving me in a shop ask me what I was wearing!
I love Another 13. That amyl salicylate note is a synthetic note that smells a bit like an unripe banana. It gives the perfume that âtextureâ it has. Soooo delicious.
Iâve been wearing Skylar Boardwalk Delight after my shower at night/to bed. Itâs like bright cotton candy drier sheets. So happy and cozy âșïž
You have a great taste đ
loved that video ... try Tonka and Bergamot from Le Labo ....fabulous also...
Such a lovely video! I am a perfume lover from the heart. If you have not tried Ylang 49 from Le Labo, you should try it. And lately Iâve been really into Ormonde Jayne fragrances. Theyâre gorgeous. If you havenât tried the brand you can give it a shotđ Especially Ormonde Jayne-Woman edp is really unique and I think you would enjoy it.
My all time signature scent is Bvlgari Omnia Chrystalline. In loose order some other favourites: MĂ©nage a trois fromZarko, coco mademoiselle from Chanel, aventus for her from Creed and as a more masculine scent I love Noveau Monde from Louis Vuitton - bought that for my Boyfriend just so that I can use it. Based on Jamies recommendation I also like to wear Byredo Super cedar in the winter time (and by the way I also just love the Safran Candle because of her) and I also love by the fireplace from replica in that season.
I Love Tocca Liliana it's Floral and sweet, and lasts FOREVER!
You look soooo pretty
thank you so much!
Omg your description of wood sage and sea salt is the exact same as me! Hampton seaside, jeans and a sweater over the shoulders.
hahaha yesssss!! im glad we're on the same page
Loved that she shared this very specific vision! It made me giggle!
Loved this video! My favourites are Jo Malone Orange Blossom, Dipthyque Eau Duelle, Ellis Brooklyn Super Amber, Gucci ll, Dior Addict and Madison Louis Marieâs Bois de Balincourt
If you haven't, try smelling Lys 41 from Le Labo. It's a white floral (jasmine and tuberose) with a creamy vanilla sort of hint to it. So good!
I just came back from Paris and I discovered Le Labo there. I am OBSSESSED with these fragrances. I bought Lys 41 and it is truly a special scent. Even my boyfriend likes it and he is not a perfume kind of guy. Needless to say, I will add more of this brand to my collection.
hey, buying a perfume before a trip is such a fantastic idea. I will do that the next time I buy one
it's the best!
Dude your nose looks so good! Are you like super happy?
The Vanilla Woods oil roller by 7 Virtues is what I switched to when people kept calling my Vanilla Incensee âpowderyâ, it adds just the perfect depth of wood that I was missing
Atelier cologne has pulled out of North America and I'm devastated as it's my fave brand! Vanille Insensee is my number one scent of all time. Enjoyed this video for some new options to explore!â€
Me too!! Vanilla Insensee is my go to so I am hoarding my stash. I used to wear Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black but it's also gone. đą
Ebay!
I quite enjoy Replica's Flower market!!
So funny, I was peeking into your âolderâ vids and saw this a mite late but still. I just ordered multiple decants from ScentSplit in the U.S., i.e. 20 or so fragrances, I know, nuts, and Santal 31, the Wood Jo Malone and one of the Byredo (Pulp however) are in there. It should be an interesting 4-5 month experiment đ
I like the video! And havenât seen Jamieâs videos in a while so makes me happy. But I feel like everyone specially in the us are using this same fragrances when thereâs a tons of brands right now. Specially niche and independent brands. I love the pages like Jovoy Paris to go a check new brands. Also Luckyscent In the us! Itâs time to experiment more. I have tbh and say that Iâm a bit tired of all you tubers and news showing the same le Labo atelier jo malone replica brands. :(
britney spears midnight fantasy is my day to day scent, i also love versace crystal noir
I rotate between 3 fragrances
Sailing Day - Replica is my sweet/fresh
Sea Daffodil - Jo Malone is my softer/floral
Hypnotizing Fire - The Harmonist is my deep/sexy/dark
I may try Rose 31 by Le Labo...sounds wonderful and I love that fragrance house. I have Another 13, Santal 33, and TheâNoir 29...Do you feel like Rose 31 can be year round or is it just spring/summer? Thanks for this video! â€ïž You must try Byredo Bal Dâ Afrique if you havenât. Itâs a stunning fresh fragrance that is very unique.
oh my god, i'm about to change your life jamie. based on your preferred scents, you NEED to try gucci bloom ambrosia di fiori. the orris and tuberose mixed with the jasmine last all day long and i swear you will become obsessed with how you smell. i've been through like 3 bottles of it.
That one is really really nice!
Here in 2024 and thinking how cool it is that Jamie and Mala have collaborated on Cat Napđ„°đđ
You must get to know the brand FrĂ©dĂ©ric Malle, it's a dream for any fragrance lover. Try Portrait of a Lady or Synthetic Jungle â€
I also love the Replica scents. My favourite is By the Fireplace. But I have to say the smell goes away far too soon! Wish it lasted way longer
I spray it on my pillow when I go to bed, and all night long I can smell it! đ
You might be anosmic to the chemicals or you might have bought a fake. By the Fireplace is generally considered to be super super long lasting compared to the rest of its line.
I bought mine from Sephora and it doesnât last at all đ„Č
@@heythere8917 ugh thatâs too bad. You might just be anosmic to it. Itâs the same for me for Bacarrat 450 - itâs a beast mode perfume yet I canât smell it at all.
Tom ford tobacco Vanille is my holy grail perfume. Also have you tried Rock Prick? Another very complex sophisticated Rose
I usually donât reveal my fragrance favs because I donât want too many people to smell the same as me (am I alone in that???) but one of my favorites to use for layering is Bee from Ellis Brooklyn, such a unique layering scent because it is honey based.
I totally get what you mean about not wanting everyone to wear the same perfume as you. I can relate.
Bee is so nice! It reminds me of the MAC Naked Honey collection from way back when. I have to be in a very specific mood to wear Bee, but when I do, it really hits the spot.
