MLS highlighting Houston, we used to pray for times like this.
Went there recently and the stadium location is awesome, the building is beautiful, and the food options were the best I’ve seen in MLS. Just wish they had better support and the stadium wasn’t always so empty. Here’s to Houston’s continued growth.

Houston weather is no joke. A hard stadium to play in. We definitely need more fans to show up. Not sure what’s the best way to get people to show up other than win.
Recently moved to Houston last year and will definitely make a few matches. Hopefully I can be able to make at least half of the Home games. It'll be my first MLS match(s) for me.

Shell stadium kicks out season ticket holders for celebrating. They seem to only have enough staff for international games and not club games .
Its not even about the heat, place feels fine in the afternoon. Dynamo (team thats barely having a great season), has to compete with the astros for fans since theyre champions as of lately and they play on the same days most of the times.
On sunday for the lamar hunt semi, their promo 2 tickets for 18 filled up the the stadium! Only empty seats where the premiums that included food.

Love the stadium, but truthfully. The stadium itself needs better weather protection/prevention. While most games are scheduled during the night in the summer, the sun is still blazing a 105 degrees even at 7:30 pm. Nobody wants to go to these games cause its hot!!!
It really is the hottest. Even during night games you sweat your butt off…And poor shade from the build of the stadium…
And the emptiest!

That's probably because Houston weather is hot lol normal summer day is 105°
