My name is Jasmine and I have relocated from Sydney Australia to Ghana in west Africa as of the year 2020.
My parents are of Ghanaian descent and so am I although I was born in Australia. Here on my channel, my goal is to give you a real glimpse into what it’s like to live in Ghana, from the Ghanaian food, to the Ghanaian culture, to the Ghanaian lifestyle and everything in between. My goal is to satisfy your curiosity about Ghana and help inspire to explore Ghana.
My prayer is that these videos do just that for several African’s in the diaspora.

I enjoyed seeing what a day your life looks like. It's also refreshing to see that book stores are still a thing. I miss going to bookstores. Very few are around in my neck of the woods. Stay blessed, beautiful, and the bearer of great content.

You hardly see young people reading hard copies of books these days so I am impressed you went for hard copies of books. Nice bookstore. I enjoyed coming along with you through familiar places in Accra and Tema. This was definitely a very good video. That fufu and meat. It just got me salivating. Yummy in your tummy.

I just moved to the Teshie Greda Estates area in October 2022, and I go to that ShopRite quite a bit. That overpass traffic has been such a pain, and I go through there often because it's the only ShopRite I can find bacon similar to the kind we eat in the US.
Its really a pain. I hope it gets fixed soon xx

Jasmine peppermint tea is a stimulant. Teas made with chamomile or Lavender are relaxing, but if it's not accessible you can drink small Origin. Melatonin is a sleep and brain health supplement which may be available at Sage Remedies or a pharmacy.

Interesting to see a book shop that sells reading material not just stationary because is becoming a lost culture or hobby now across the world because of down loads of books and kindle book tablet reading is such a relaxing and inspiring thing to do ❤👍🏾

I don't think I could ever hire a house cleaner. As for the clothes washer id probably get one too, but I like the semi automatic ones because they use less water. Even though it's a little bit more work to take the clothes out to rinse and then spin.

Is the sun not enough for you instead because that's the best and natural way to get it or u don't get enough of the sun in Ghana, because in the west because of lack of the sun most of the time people take the pill to get the vitamin D supplements so just wondering with all this sunshine in Ghana ☀️

Chamomile tea is king of sleep. If its proper chamomile with the actual plant in the tea bag it'll kick in ASAP.

You buy that Hausa porridge from the side of the road? You are strong ooh !I don't think those people wash their hands , I cannot ! My cousin learnt how to make it, and when I come from US she makes it for my family . It is so good! In Nigeria they also sell a mix of it in packets like instant oatmeal , we always stock up whenever we travel home !
How many have heard being poisoned by eating Hausa koko? It served hot. People are poisoned every bloody day in the US for eating the so-called clean restaurants.
@@frankbediako1372 Did you go to the hospital and monitor how many people came in with hepatitis / food poisoning or typhoid and them compile the numbers and the causes? So people who get sick announce it, where ? In America they do collect these statistics , it is called Public Health .So unless you can give me the numbers for people who got sick in Ghana from Hepatitis A from all the hospitals and the suspected cause , in the past months ,I have to ask how do you know people do not get sick?.

Don't you feel a bit lonely sometimes living by yourself? I had the whole house to myself on my latest trip to Ghana and I will intentionally go home super late and crash... I a m guessing your work tires you out enough that you are probably used to those alone times. Anyway, I enjoy this type of content where you show us your day-to-day and interaction with your fam and friends-more of those :). BTW, cost of living in Ghana is up through the roof, not sure how the average Ghanaian copes, my hats off to Ghanaians!
Noo, my family lives close and i am busy always. This was more the case when i lived in my 3bedroom house alone further from family . It doesn’t feel that way in my apartment tbh xx
