Great "How To." I have a H3 that I added all the GMRS channels, plus the local GMRS repeaters. I also added the 2m/70cm repeaters in the area so I can monitor them too, but when I travel that fills up the channels quickly. I had been putting them into banks, but you only have so many memory spaces you can use. So just like you said, it's great for setting up a list for the area you are going to be in, then upload it to the radio when you arrive.

Here's a method that might work a little faster for some. 1- Read into chirp (or Program in chirp). 2- export from chirp as a csv file. 3- open odmaster on the web. 4- import csv file and give it a name ( H8-Houston). It will then be available on your Phone's Odmaster whenever you need it. I's another way to do the same thing but I find it faster. 73s
Unfortunately, you have to log in to save lists, I believe. I have always just signed in to get every benefit it offers. I figure if China wants my information, they already have it, or there's plenty of other ways to get it!
Hummm, would it not be nice to be able to buy that data for programming in different geography and store it in ODMaster? I think you can share it, IIRC ....., but that isn't like a store. 🙂 There might be a business opportunity here. I would buy it! Somebody tell me where to find it.
Well, you might be on to something. That's a solid idea for tge basics, but each person is a little different. Some may want fire and ems, and others wouldn't. I guess the people that didn't want to it could just Skip or Delete.... I own a few businesses and I didn't even think of that one! Great mind!

I did come a cross a glitch. I found my channel is was blank on odemaster so I put scan in on position then it transfers from radio to odemaster.

Can you do this without a login yet? Last I tried a few weeks ago, without an ODMaster account, you couldn't save different lists like this.
