Hi guys - I lived about an hour away from Paris in Angerville and with my husband we drove to Barcelona and then to Sitges - your video brought back some good memories - we still go to France to visit my husbands family every year - we still have our apt in Angerville France - we drove all over Europe and of course took the train a lot - love it - we moved back to the US to help my sister and mother but can’t wait to move back I really miss Europe - Im glad I have my French passport now

We ate at Boqueria one night and had plenty of snacks there throughout our stayin Barca! Such a cool space!!

Guys, you're in the YT 'Visit Sitges' official Sitges Gay Pride Parade 2022 vlog. My Husband and I used to visit Sitges' often as my great Aunt lived there for decades. My 3 kids always wanted to go visit GranTia Mariella at pride time and then we'd spend the rest of the summer at our home in Cannes before school again in Los Angeles. Great vlogs everytime... Been to Sitges 20 years ago. I found the atmosphere 'overly intense and meat market'ish' (could be down to the compact size of the place). Suppose people may say the same about Ibiza, but as another popular gay resort, the atmosphere is still charged on the beaches and at night obviously but the place just seems a little more sexually refined and not so 'hungry' (although, still all around you:) and less in your face. Love the energy of the island and the vibe. Never returned to Sitges. Great video though guys!.

I spent all my childhood summers right there and moved full time at 11 until I was on my twenties. Happiest times of my life... Unfortunately the town is too expensive to live there now and I had to move to a inland city... My mother still lives there though.

I love Sitges ! Never been there during Pride. I’m a PA too and lived in Paris for 4 years doing virtual medicine for patients in the US. Easy to get to Spain! Loved Brian’s Quincy t-shirt too lol I was born there. ❤️

Barcelona is really cool but don’t judge the paella on Las Ramblas….try it at a place really known for Paella. You guys really bring out your best happy energy in this video. So much to be proud of including your recent PA graduation…from one PA to another…congratulations and best of luck with your NCCPA board exam. Have a blast in Barcelona and with Catalán. 😘
We had some awesome Paella that was NOT on La rambla and also we did a cooking class where we made paella with a Spanish chef! So much fun!!!

There are events going on in Sitges all year, even in winter when the weather is not so good. I haven’t been to the Carnival before the beginning of Lent, but I’ve heard that it’s very busy (and quite camp). The Fiesta Major in August has amazing parades with traditional dancers and includes giant images of a king and queen being carried through the town, along with a dragon spouting fireworks. There is also a magnificent fireworks display on 23rd August which uses the church as a backdrop and has fireworks launching from barges on the sea. The International Bear Week at the beginning of September is possibly the biggest gay bear event in Europe. It’s been noticeable how many come from around the world, including the US. There is also a smaller bear event at the end of April/beginning of May.

Interesting that you say how good looking people are in Barcelona. I said the same thing when I was in Europe. I think they dress differently where here in the US we think dressing scummy is sexy or something. The same seems true in Columbia, SA they seem to take better care of themselves down to threading their eyebrows and more creative haircuts, matching their sneakers to their clothes....

There is so many hotels, and they are right on the main strip across from the beach. We stayed at hotel Calipolis and it was lovely.

You have to try gay pride in Maspalomas, there are two every year, one in November with more mature people and another in May with younger people

So how did you hear about Sitges and get hooked up with all that VIP stuff? Do you have a friend who knew about it and got you hooked up? Just curious, never heard of Sitges. Great video by the way! You guys are amazing and I am happy you got to get away for some really great fun!
We knew about Sitges through social media and wanted to visit based on videos/pics we saw.
When we knew we were going, we reached out to the Pride organizers to see if they could help us out with filming for CZcams, and they graciously hooked us up with some media passes!
