I ❤️ the way they send “mint first” sealed little tubes of 10 gold maple leaves....so pretty!!! BUT this is the first time I’ve seen 3 tubes in a lot! EPIC!!!

The reeded edge was introduced as a security feature against coin skimming, where people would shave 1% of the metal weight from the edges. If the reeded edge is smoothed out, then the coin is no longer valid. Still relevant today.

if a 1oz gold coin has a face value of only $100, and you take 10 out of the country do you have to declare or would they technically be only $1000 and under the declaration amount? a 1oz gold bar does not have a face value amount so would have to be priced in gold spot? what's people's thoughts?
If you want to move gold use gold sovereigns carried in your wallet with your other coins

Love platinum 😎. Wish all mints had some better platinum coin designs. If they came in the same design as the gold kangaroo or they had koalas or kookaburras, that’d be awesome. Other than the platypus, I think most platinum coin designs are bland tbh
