My continuing quest for The Ultimate Rolling Video Interview Stand (not CHEAP or LOW BUDGET) for on-location CZcams and corporate interview videos with fantastic audio, and lighting with self-contained power. I made some adjustments for a quicker setup from zero to record within moments of arriving at a trade show booth or rolling into an office for corporate assignments in the Boston, MA area.
I added a Sennheiser MKH-416 Shotgun Tube Microphone mounted on a K-Tek KE-79CC Traveler Avalon Series Aluminum Boom pole with Internal XLR Cable to have more directional audio. I’ll use the Sennheiser MKH 416 to help remove ambient noise to focus the audio on the person speaking in the crowded trade show

Mix Pre IIs need drivers for Mac OS. That would be ideal. Also, a design update for the Bluetooth app would be appreciated. You have the staff you have the budget yet you will discontinue them, add to legacy devices, before you would do these two things. The prices of these devices almost doubled in the last two years yet no care from Sound Devices for these tools. If RME would enter this market would definitely crush Sound Devices market share.

Why is the sound distorted - over modulated ? (listen at 7'35") Is it the radio mic TX ? It would be helpful to know what went wrong here. I have the Mix Pre 3 and the 6II and the SoundDevices audio is superb of course.
