Every time someone says this song is cheesy, I can't help but think it's just them not liking how it's uplifting as appose to all the other stuff that is played on the TV now...
meu sonho rs tinhamos que trazer ele pra ca.
Come to Latin America, please! You have many fans around these parts too. Cheers from Mexico!
Siiii, acá en Chile los esperamos
that jkt is mine gimme gimme
TO ME IT SOUNDS LIKE A DEXY'S 1ST ALBUM VIBE..AND ALL BLACKWOOD BOYS WERE INTO IT IN THOSE DAYS..LIKE MYSELF NICE ONE JAMES
Great song, you have to put it into context of the album know what's it's about. It's akin to an Early Elvis, great piece of pop. It's a prelude to the track rewind the film.
eles*
It's a great song alright, but I've noticed James seems to have trouble nailing it live. It's strange because he's usually so good with melodies. I think he's best when he either belts it out like mad or when he's in sombre ballad-mode - these in-between songs leave him sounding a little uncertain. Still love the record.
I never thought the manics would write a cheesy song
write* and it's not cheesy you fuckin' moron.
Look, I'm a huge manics fan and this song is an embarrassment to the band
You are an embarrassment to the comments section, and the educational system.
look! when you listen to motorcycle emptiness, a design for life, peeled apples ect. then you listen to show me the wonder, it's like this is no where near as good. Oh and I do have the album Rewind the film, and all their other albums and all the singles, vinyl records ect. I think futurology should be more rocky so they will hopefully get a good reputation again:)
They do have a good reputation, you clearly understand nothing about anything from the musicians point of view. You don't just write a song like any of the ones you just mentions (which were all singles).
You sound just as bad as the 'Rugby' mongoloids who kept shouting 'play the ones we know' at Newport centre. You have to respect their decision to write the music they write.
Well deserved kick in the teeth of those just wanting to hear another Holy Bible.
Hard to believe this is the same band that released the Holy Bible. Just dreadful.
Nonsense
Surprisingly crap.
