Brilliant.
Nicky Wire
Great performance
Loving the Fretking :)
yeah I wanna hear them do SPLAM live as well...it would totally rock the place...when Nicky has more input into the songs musically they tend to sound a bit dirgey ploddy bless him.
Génios.
Don't understand why these songs... There are many brilliant in the album: SPLAM, The next jet to leave Moscow, Black square and without doubt very powerful Mayakovsky... After all this is their choice. Despite of this love them, this is my favorite band in the world.
And sex, power, love and money
I like the teenager trying to jam on his practise amp near the end.

What do you mean?
@liamlightfoot9545 Ooh hello, have you ever tried playing guitar when you can't properly? I know JDB is good, but that's the funny irony.
Just imagine if James sang the chorus....would have been killer
Don't agree 🏴
LOLzZ85 You mean the ending.
Me neither.. Nicky did a great job. His voice has improved over the years. Nicky and James' harmony was great.@@steffanhoffmann1906
should of played "sex power love and money"
I hope the sound engineer was sacked after this performance.
It's the typical BBC sound. I always joked on other videos (notably, Modern Love, by the Courteeners) that these performances sound like those fake, shredded versions of famous songs lol
Pedant
It wasn't a great performance, but it seems like they barely had a proper soundcheck.
This was the order: Manic Street Preachers / Robert Randolph / Jessie Ware / Ben Howard / Mélanie De Biasio / Benjamin Booker..
Ben Howard's band (with End of the Affair) sounded pretty good, superb actually.. Maybe the competent engineer was already occupied with that? Anyhow, that doesn't explain why they messed up this one, especially as the opening of the show.
@@lejazzetmoi1775 I enjoyed it.
@@therespectedlex9794 you enjoyed it that the mix was messed up??
Don't know why Nicky always refuses to sing live.
cos he's unable to sing in tune possibly?
Alonzo Murz there's nothing wrong with his singing here at all
+benhadar Try Cuba " watsville blues "
+Jason Birch If you call that singing.
Wer schreit eigentlich um die '52' Sekunde?
Nicky :)
good performance, shitty sound - usuaIIy the sound on this show is good
nicky wire has a problem singing and playing bass at thew same time, thats why his live singing is so minimal
Bez from the Happy Mondays was top on maracas, but rubbish on tambourines.
Zzzzzzzzzzz
Some people haven't got a clue zzzzzzzzzzz
is that how you felt after watching coldplay perform
Manics are the most important British band of the last 2 decades selling out the holy bible tour in 20 minutes proves how relevant they still are compared to all this xfactor wannabe manufactured shit of today
Andy Aldworth oh no they have sold out? I wanted a ticket
I sort of agree, this is definitely more of a boring performance than usual from Manics. They're still incredible though.
awful
You're
Agreed 50% Sound engineer didn't help matters.
