I would just wander around Kyoto, I really enjoy how peaceful it seems (I live in the city so it is very loud and busy) Iâd probably visit the temples and get some tasty food. Take care everyone rest well âïž

Hope you are doing well and that your trip truly lightened up your timeâŠ. If I ever went to Japan I would go to Hiroshima, and visit the museum and pay my respects there, because when I was so little, my parents took me there and I met this old man who had survived the events in Hiroshima, and beyond the language barrier, he talked to me in the wisest, kindest and most helpful way I have ever heard. This man and this place marked me for life, and he taught me to make origami cranes, Iâd love to go put one back there
I want to fly to Kyoto and be there a few days, some days in Osaka and then some days in Tokyo. I wanna visit the Ghibli museum (and maybe find a way to go to the Ghibli park too), be in the Nara park, visit a lot of temples and give myself a lot of room to just explore the cities I'm in! (I don't really use my IG, so please just answer this comment and I'll see it!)

I've never been to Japan but I'd love to, besides the viral things and food and places I see on the internet that get me intrigued to visit, a huge motivation for me to work my as* off to be able to visit Japan (and Korea) is how I keep relating to the cultures of these East Asian countries, especially being from Sudan, a country that anyone would think would have a completely different culture to those countries, it"s honestly so wholesome and heartwarming to be reminded that we're all humans who are connected in the simplest ways, whether it would be how we address and talk to each other, our table manners, and so on :)!

I was just in Japan last may đđđ and i wish I couldve gotten to see more, a week was definitely not enough. I remember watching you back when you started college and was inspired by how independent you were, watching you grow and become even more independent has helped me through my own university experience and now I've decided to solo travel once I graduate next year! I'd love to visit all parts of Japan and other places in Asia.

Half my family lives in Japan, and the area they live in near Tokyo is like a second home to me. This video made me so nostalgic for the tiny restaurants of cheap and delicious food and never ending stationary stores and the beauty of the local life. I hope to visit again soonâ€

Japan is so far up my bucket list - I feel like Osaka is probably the place I'd want to visit most but honestly everywhere in Japan seems so interesting and different and they all have their specialities: shopping, skiing, temples

life update: I finally moved into an apartment after 3 years of living with my parents and saving up. It was so hard but i finally get to have my own safe and cozy environment! đ€ Your videos have provided me with background noise while getting use to being alone and your lofting series has also helped me with apartment decor inspiration. I started watching you when you were still in high school because I was looking for some inspiration for decorating my room. I love your aesthetic and after I found your videos of you rearranging your room, I stuck with you. Then you started studying and so did I, and when I lost the motivation to study, I watched one of your "Study with me" videos where you portray studying so aesthetically that I wanted to study again :D Now I'm writing my thesis and I'm almost done with another chapter in my life. After that, I want to travel for a while and Japan is also one of my destinations. I will look at your Japan diaries for inspiration. But I definitely want to go to all the shrines, the Ghibli Museum and all the pretty stores! Iâve always wanted to go to Japan, not only for the Studio Ghibli and anime vibes but also for their historical places. Iâve been always interested the historical architecture and important places where changed the course of history in Japan as well of other countries. I feel like seeing these places makes one think about how monumental these places are and find a feeling of connection one has. Iâm glad you were able to go! â€

Tokyo is definitely on my bucket list! The bustling streets, neon lights, and endless shopping districts seem like an adventure waiting to happen. On a personal note, I recently adopted a puppy and he's bringing so much joy into my life.
This was such a sweet video and I'm so excited for the vlogs to come out! I'm part Japanese, and have always wanted to visit it, specifically where my mother was born, as well as the shrines. Obviously, I'd love to see the more touristy stuff too like the Ghibli museum and the Nintendo store, but truly I've always adored the culture and practice of the shrines. Its something that speaks to me a lot as someone who isn't religious and doesn't have much of a standing on gods as a concept.
