- Nationwide more than 60,000 people a year in the United States will get a cosmetic surgery procedure called a Brazilian Butt Lift, made popular by celebrities and social media influencers. BBLs, as they're called, can be dangerous. The death rate is the highest among any plastic surgery.
ONE IN 3000 PEOPLE DIE FROM THIS?! WTF WOULD YOU DO THIS????
It's so sad how this is only taken as celebrity gossip while it's an actual social issue, basicaly an epidemy.
The highest dearh rate is not the issue.... its the ldl risk afterwards. It puts them at risk of artery, lung and heart issues...

It's worse than that -- if you're dead-set on having a big butt, and willing to spend $15-20K or so for a real surgeon, you could easily get a decent BBL. The problem here is, people want this bizarre, dangerous surgery for less than $3K! I can understand wanting the cheapest price for some things -- I have no problem buying cheapo underwear, deodorant and kitchen sponges at the Dollar Store. But invasive surgery on your body on the cheap? Just unfathomable, at least to me.

Exactly And these foolish people keep on attempting To get this dangerous surgery, not doing their research. To be honest with you. The fault does not Belong solely to the doctor these patients are made aware and paperwork prior to the procedure that this is an extremely dangerous procedure and death might be a consequence. I don't think that her family should have been rewarded. Anything? This is a plastic surgery. Not a life-or-death situation. I can see if it was something routine that she needed done for her health.

Although I sympathize with her family. I do not feel as though. They should get a penny before you get any type of plastic surgery. Especially when this dangerous, you do sign a waiver. There is extremely high mortality risk that comes with the territory of getting this procedure. It's not the doctor's fault a 100%. I feel like it's not fair. They knew that they were Playing With Fire.

Ass is like the one sexy part of our bodies its even possible to improve on yourself so why not stop being lazy and just go to the gym? Do you have any idea how quickily a person can develop a fine ass by just going to the gym 3 hours a week?

Of course you're right, but the kind of butt people seem to want from these surgeries isn't a fit, well-developed and healthy one -- they want a caricature, a giant oversized bottom that only a tiny minority of people have naturally.
Sad! Why can't we be happy with who we are! People are looking more “plastic” & less “lifelike!” We're letting robots take over our jobs, our thinking - & what we look like: Plastic! Sad. Just my humble opinion.

I couldn't agree more - when I think about all the people I've found attractive in my life, it was always the unique, inimitable, real qualities of them that were beautiful to me: a tiny space between their front teeth, a way of raising one eyebrow when hearing something not quite believable, the particular sound of their laughter. The perfect plastic people being marketed to the world on social media leave me stone cold uninterested -- bring on the real humans, "flaws" and all!
If you take the pain and number of hours you take to recover ( one month), you can literally get a 25% increase in your ass at the gym in that same period of time MINUS the money and so you save that money. Seems like a way nicer deal .
And minus the pain too!
