If given the choice of doing the Akra install on a Panigale V4 or Street Fighter V4. I would choose to do the install on the Street Fighter

    • @turbobike749
      @turbobike749  Před 3 lety

      Both big jobs to install. Especially on the first one that you do. After you have done a bike and know what you are in for you can tear it apart a lot quicker.
      Most major services need to be stripped to this level.

    We have one lonely Streetfighter in the area and the owner wanted to install the Akrapovic full system, our dealer told him the engine would need to be torn down every 3000 km. Warranty would be null and void otherwise. Is that true?
    He ended up installing Arrow slip ons.

    • @Cheffy_otto
      @Cheffy_otto Před 3 lety +2

      I think thats incorrect because ducati is only working together with akrapovic and termignoni so you won't lose your warranty if you install one of those brands on your ducati,
      The only thing when you lose your warranty is flashing the ecu and about every 3000km service i don't know but i think they want to make money because my dealership didn't say that to me, so thats pritty weird.

    • @turbobike749
      @turbobike749  Před 3 lety +1

      As long as you fit the genuine parts it all should be cool with warranty. Slip-ons would be much easier to install and probably sound mint too. Any sound is better than stock.

    • @turbobike749
      @turbobike749  Před 3 lety +4

      Yes the torn down engine thing would be for racing. Even then it would only be for the elite level riders. For a normal human, normal servicing would be fine, just with a few extra oil changes to help keep it mint.
