Makes me want to use the Fairlight on my next song. Thank you Peter Vogel. The 80's would not have been the same without you. (The Fairlight was named after the Fairlight hovercraft that used to pass by in Australia in the 80's. Seemed like a good name for a business.)

My husband chose this song for our wedding dance in 1993. I was so afraid to here what he picked because he was a serious punk rocker. I listened to this often. He passed in 2014. Thank you for all the memories.
I wish we had chose this song, my wife would have moved across the dance floor like a wisp of effervescent spring air, I am sorry to hear about your husband - a punk rocker with a soft heart for 80’s classics
This song gives me a feeling I can't quite catagorize. It's part elation, part wonder, part adoration with an underlying hint of longing, sadness and nostalgia. God....The 80s.
Just saw the Furs last night in Rancho Mirage, 10 minutes from my house!! Amazing concert, I don’t know how these guys are still able to do it! His voice sounds as awesome as it ever did. Crowd was much older than I remember, lol. So blessed to have the opportunity to experience that after all these years!
I was a radio DJ at my college in the mid to late 80’s and discovered this group for the first time. I was the only DJ that played Top 40 music and this song actually charted so I learned about progressive rock or new wave and was mesmerized by this song for its haunting music and lyrics. Many good songs from this band but this song resonates the most. Sad song but hits the gut.
I love the comments section for these great 80s songs. It makes me realize how lucky we were to be in our prime during this amazing decade, and at the same time it’s clear that while many of us are happy, we still miss those glorious days and many of us would do just about anything to do it again. I’m happy to have experienced it with you all, my brothers and sisters from the 80s
I second your sentiment; I only turned 8 by the end of the decade, but experiencing it after the fact, no question you were blessed to enjoy it firsthand :-)
I think it was the rebound to all the Vietnam era music. I don't know, that's just my theory. They started experimenting with electronic music, too. It was glorious wasn't it? The 90s weren't too bad either, but the 80s were amazing.
Inside you the time moves you and she don't fade. What else can we say. 40 years later and all of this 1980s New Wave remains unsurpassed, and forms the basis of much of what people listen to today.
I had my eleven year old daughter last weekend for visitation. On the way to the playground, this came over SiriusXM "First Wave." I turned it up, telling her how much I loved this song and the Furs. Today, she messaged me with a link to this video. This song touched her heart as much as it has mine, a testament to its enduring and ageless appeal.
10 months later, I'm hearing this for the first time, and thinking I need to play this for my daughter and stepdaughter (who might be familiar with it) because it's lovely. I wouldn't have heard of them if you hadn't posted some of their music on fb, years ago, when our little fb group wasn't all about politics and your cousin Sheri was on, and things were more fun! Well, we were all a little younger! Glad one of your daughters liked it. Music has been one of the strongest bonds with my husband (your fellow Berklee alumni) and my brothers and especially with my girls! Bring them up on the music you love and they'll take you to expensive concerts in your old age! (and now you're a screenwriter and movie star) regards, Marlene
@@mindrolling24 Well technically, the Furs came out in 1977. But they really became popular in the early 80's, thanks to a little tv station called MTV. Once their videos started playing, they reached a wider audience and their hit song "Love My Way" catapult the group into the American mainstream. A little bit of music/mtv trivia for you.🙂
The furs the Banshees Clash, Cure, Bunnymen, Seagulls, Talk Talk, The The , Big Dish, Dolby,China Crisis etal...the soundtrack to my youth, 57 now and its still the soundtrack to my life.

@Luis Alonzo shake the disease, enjoy the silence, blasmesmous (sp) rumors.. The best is "somebody".. Dae Gahan is incredible in this song.. Do you agree??
I remembered this classic song. I will have to definitely put it on my play list at my wedding! 🤵♂️👰♀️ I would like to get married soon since I am already 52. 😬
Holy crap! Why the hell can't they make music like this anymore? Now this is what I call music. The so called "artists" of today could learn thing or two from '80's musicians about how to write songs. Thank you for posting.
In the early 80's we used to call the local radio stations in town requesting this song, just to have them tell us They have never heard of it and no, they will not play it.
As children in the 1970s my siblings and I endured an abusive and hateful father that beat us and my mother. In 1982, when I was 15, my brother and I found our mother's body in a bathroom of our house; she'd overdosed on barbiturates, likely to escape him. Without her there to act as a buffer between us and him, we endured even worse. It was a very difficult couple of decades -- the 70s and 80s -- for us but my teens were made bearable by music from Simple Minds, The Psychedelic Furs, The Smiths and so on. It sounds cliché but it's true. It was an amazing, amazing time for music and talent and creativity. It holds as much meaning for me now as it did in 1984 when this song and many like it let me close my eyes and be somewhere else, somewhere safe if only for a few minutes. In fact, so strong is my adoration for this music that, oddly, part of me -- now 55 -- wants to go back to those times. Of course, I could do without that "other stuff" but I really miss the music that got me through it all the first time.
I also grew up in the 70's & 80's with 4 brothers and 2 sisters, parents divorced, 4 older siblings were old enough to be on their own and mother remarried. Myself, younger sister and brother, my mom and her abusive husband. He would start a fight with her, beat up on her until she would leave and he would then come into me and my brothers room and drag me out to the kitchen and mentally and physically beat me for hours on end, "it was brutal" usually till 3am, I was his scapegoat for all his problems he said. This went on for about 3 1/2" years, started at about 11 tears old. I was luckily brought to my father's and not long after my younger siblings. Something that always took me to another place was this music, I'm now 57 and I too want to go back, without the "other stuff" also. This music has a beautiful way to bring back the good memories that made childhood special even though we went through some rough times. I hope you you're doing better and keep these songs with you!!!
So true. Makes me feel kinda sad though. This is one of the songs me and my high school buddies used to play in our band, along with Boys Don't Cry, Fire In Cairo, With Or Without You, etc. However, our drummer has now passed on. Time flies by so fast.
'80s music just seemed to have such variety and mass appeal. Even songs that weren't within my usual listening genres of rock, heavy metal, blues still move me today even when otherwise my tastes have changed.
I can't stress it enough, 80s had the best music. The entertainment in general, but the music was so good, this is another one of those amazing songs. We used to dance, sing and have fun to it. So many incredible memories and makes me so nostalgic.
the 80's were a fucking great time!!!! Kids think now is so special, the 21st century is all stupid electronics....the 80's was real FUN!!!!!!! And WE all know what I am talking about!
It is now 2023 and this song means more now than ever. If anyone listening to this song l love it and it's meaning holds truth. But it is so sad terrible sad that we all humans have not moved forward but backwards oct.12. 23 at this time we may be on the edge of ww3. How I wish we could have just learned to live the one world we were given. Peace ✌ my friends
I thought the 80's would never end. Being young, the future ahead of you with no worries, good health and fun times. Now its all a memory too look back and wonder. I started the 80's being 18 yrs old and now in 18 yrs i will once again be in the 80's. that may not count but I was able to make it this far.
You don't need to apologize for the soulless, contrived and hackneyed music that's being made today. The 80's was truly a magical time for music. Society was relatively calm, the Soviet Union fell, the economy was getting strong, but overall things were looking up. I graduated high school in 1980. Punk rock was nearly dead along with disco and the Urban Cowboy stuff was doing its thing on the sideline - And then came New Wave or Alternative and all its subgenres like Shoegazing, Dream Pop and Neo Psychadelia and all others. If there was one song that I see as a start of all of it combined with MTV was Buggles' Video Killed The Radio Star. As far as all of us longing for that day and it's return, someone said in another musics comments, "We're homesick for a place that no longer exists."
Richard Butler's voice is unique, but I think one of the aspects of this song that makes it absolutely great is the background lyrics behind the chorus vocals (Roger Morris & Mars Williams) that overlap with Butler's voice. I think it adds a sense of melancolia that creates these emotions... Lyrics: Drums beat time in... you and I and... rain don't fall down... here no more it's... coming down to... losing it in you.
We were young. Carefree. Silly schoolboy crushes meant the world....soldier....war....depression...alcoholism....divorce....two beautiful girls who are all my love....slow recovery....contented happiness..and an old man finds this song again. Life is a circle.
Nice way to put it. My story is similar, but only one daughter and I don’t suffer from depression but my daughter does, and yet here we both are listing to this amazing song 38 years later
My theory is that 80s music is both sad and happy at the same time because it was made during the cold war. We learned how to have fun and rad dance parties with the spectre of a possible nuclear holocaust in the backs of our minds. I suppose that gives us something in common with the lost generation of WW1 and the generation that endured WW2.
A man in my shoes runs a light And all the papers lied tonight But falling over you Is the news of the day Angels fall like rain And love, love, love, love is all of heaven away (Love, love, love) Inside you the time moves And she don't fade The ghost in you She don't fade Inside you the time moves And she don't fade (Don't fade) A race is on I'm on your side And hearing you my engines die I'm in a mood for you For running away Stars come down in you And love, love, love you can't give it away (love, love, love, love) Inside you the time moves And she don't fade The ghost in you She don't fade Inside you the time moves And she don't fade (in you) Don't you go It makes no sense When all your talking supermen Just take away the time And get in the way Ain't it just like rain And love, love, love, love is only heaven away (love, love, love, love) Inside you the time moves And she don't fade The ghost in you She don't fade Inside you the time moves And she don't fade The ghost in you She don't fade Inside you the time moves And she don't fade The ghost in you She don't fade Inside you the time moves And she don't fade
Inside you the time moves and she don't fade (Drums beat time in you and I and) The Ghost in you she don't fade (Rain don't fall down here no more it's) Inside you the time moves and she don't fade (Coming down to losing it and) The ghost in you she don't fade (Drums beat time in you and I and) Inside you the time moves and she don't fade (Rain don't fall down here no more it's) The ghost in you she don't fade (Coming down to losing it and)
Thank you God Almighty for this morning making breakfast 🍳 listing to this song again.wow enjoy your day you'll, God Almighty bless you stay safe, read your Bible
When I hear this song it brings me back in the 80s. Where everything is better than what we have now. People were more caring and giving and honest back in the 80s.
I miss you baby brother... every time I think of you I remember us singing all the songs by the Psychedelic Furs...your birthday is Fri...and my heart hurts... I know you are Dancing in Heaven... Martin Forever.. I love you brother..
Born in 62, i want to get back to and stuck in the 80s! I was always broke but always worked thru it week by week! Id give up my wealth and house today to go back👍❤❤❤❤
I heard this song for the very first time yesterday. It makes me feel nostalgic for a time and place I have never been to. I just wish that I discovered it sooner.
I don't know what it is but I get teary eye whenever I hear this song. I guess it's just me thinking about me as a shy teenager longing for someone who would be the subject of my spaceage love song.
Or may was been followed the kepts praying that he or fall into a big a gigartan trouble that's why it was rhymed it that way.And telling guy that they' been watched and won't fade.
No one cares about your race...get that shit out of here. Anyone can enjoy music, get that notion you have to be a specific type of person out of here.
First heard this song in the summer of 1984 in the employee lunch room of a Burger King across the street from the Toronto Eaton Centre. Radio station was 104.5 CHUM-FM and it was a commercial for an upcoming concert where these guys were one of the groups performing. Heard all but 4 words that were "Angels Fall Like Rain" and I was hooked. Never experienced an impact like that in my entire life with any other song.
In the 80's I hated my boring job at the USPS distribution center sorting mail graveyard shift 19 yrs old but they let you wear headphone style radios or walkmens. So I got paid good and could listen to great 80's music for 8 hrs yes life was great sure miss those days...
Just saw them in Pensacola and he still sounds good. Of course when they play live it's better than recorded sound imho. Way more punch with live sound.
me and my wife just came home from a terrible day at both of our jobs and this comes on and I just looked over and her and sang this to her and just seeing her smile will always make me happy no matter how bad both of our days are
This is one of the best comments I have ever read. Connection and compassion between two human beings is so wonderful. Nice change from the usual option pieces on here.
Yup. The horrors they put up on ''trending'' today on U-tube are enough to make me vomit. Most of it is anti-melody and insults mixed with threats and whores
Such a haunting voice! I can never get tired of listening to this song. The 80's were the best years of my life. My best friend and I used to record ourselves trying to sing this song. He unfortunately ended his life a few years back. They played this song at his funeral and I stood over his casket and sang it to him. I still listen to our recordings quite often. See you on the other side my friend! R.I.P
2021: This song had been stuck in my head for a year, I finally find out its title. This is one of the songs my father played when I was a young girl. I miss my dad so much.
I have filled my girls with 80s music. Cherish it. It's a treasure that we can freely give. It is a key to a time when we were young and free and had hope and the future lay brightly before us. It was truly our glory days and we want to share it with you so you NEVER forget us. Now you pass it on.
RICHARD BUTLER has SO Many GEMS, and this AMAZING SONG is another example of his #Influential Talent... He is SO Deserving of Greater Recognition and Acknowledgement, don't you Agree? Simply SPECTACULAR!!!
Once you lived the 80s you stay there forever.
I know that's right!!!!!!
Truer words have never been spoken.

💯
Makes me want to use the Fairlight on my next song. Thank you Peter Vogel. The 80's would not have been the same without you. (The Fairlight was named after the Fairlight hovercraft that used to pass by in Australia in the 80's. Seemed like a good name for a business.)
"Love My Way" is quite good, too!
💞💖💫
Love this 40 years later 2024

Nah, you were just young. Now your relationship to time is different. That's all.
This is not a song... it is a time machine. It is a window back to an incredible era that I was so fortunate to be a part of.
Wonderfully stated. Yes, I feel fortunate as well at having been a part of that era.
You punched AJ
@@BaseballPlayer0 lol... I also stalked Erin Andrews and married Anna Faris :-)
Yep, Music is the closest thing we have to a time machine
it's true!!😀
I'll be 60 at the end of this month. This song never gets old.
Now is this month. You are 60 now. I hope everything is well.
Me too but not until July. Beautiful
Song.
I’m 60 & just bought my ticket to see them in Las Vegas this weekend. Can’t wait…. Awww the memories ❤😊
I'm 60 now, but still 21 when I hear this.
I can almost imagine David Bowie singing this. A very soothing and heartwarming song. God I miss the 80's. How good were they!
I miss the fun 1984 SO much.... not the "1984" we are living in now.😢
My husband chose this song for our wedding dance in 1993. I was so afraid to here what he picked because he was a serious punk rocker. I listened to this often. He passed in 2014. Thank you for all the memories.
sorry for your loss

🌹
Your husband was a romantic at heart...
so sorry.
I'll be 64 years old soon. This video brings back fond memories of my youth and how lucky I was to grow up in the 70's and 80's with this great music.
Right there with you

Same 👌
Yes every blink
a glorious blur ...

The word is "saudade," it's Portuguese. 💖
Truth
Take me back to the 80's when we all were young!
exactly how I feel!👍
Wow. You said this perfectly!
Not sure why God chose us to grow up in the best era possibly in human history. But I'm glad He did.
Happy Tears.
Yes me too
My sister loved The Furs. She lost her battle with breast cancer in 2017. This song made me smile thinking of her.
I'm so sorry
Music is healing. I'm sorry...
❤️❤️🙏🙏
Sorry for your loss. Sending hugs.🙏🏼💞💞💞
I'm so sorry.😞💔 May she continue to rest in peace. You'll see her again.🥲 Sending you love and healing.😘😔❤️🙏
I'm 70+....... this song makes me feel like a young man again. Wonderful!
Nice, Bro!
Right there with bro. Turning 70 next week. Definitely takes me back, and it is cool

Why is 80’s music so superior to all other decades?
The Best
superior to now especially

I heard it for the first time today as well on First Wave. Class of '84!
I'm now 57 and really miss our younger days. A truly incredible band. 2 years later and am 59 now so close to 60. Never thought I'd live thru the 80's
We're the same age, I know what you mean. Where's a DeLorean when you need one? 😕
I’m 52 and feel the same. I was mesmerised by Richard Butler and bought their first album on cassette. Still have it. I wish it was 1987 again.
...1987 was just a special year for me, living in college. Introduced many friends to The Furs.

One of my all time favorite tunes. Brings back so many memories
A dive back in the mythical eighties 😢...
Richard Butler has such classic British voice. Love his breathy enunciation and low undertones.
He performs similar to Bowie...ive been 10 feet from him performing 🎉
The 80’s….had to be there 🤗
Why? I was there. The rise of neo-conservatism -- Thatcher, Reagan, etc. We're still living in that cold, materialistic shadow.
I remembered this classic song. I will have to definitely put it on my play list at my wedding! 🤵♂️👰♀️
I would like to get married soon since I am already 52. 😬

👑 Me too, I'm sketching a portrait of Princess Diana while listening to this song on loop ...
she don't fade
I met Richard Butler in Denver in 1989. Very nice chap!
It was the amount of genres 👍🙏
Yes the 80's were an idealistic time. Everything seemed possible.
word up!....it was a magical time!
It was a decade of Renaissance,,,
exactly ✌
The 1980s!!! Those were the best ❤
THE GREAT SONGS OF ALL TIME,2024 UNTIL THIS AGE I ALWAYS PLAY THIS SONG, PSYCHEDELIC FURS ONE OF THE GREAT BAND EVER
Christ the music in the 80s really was the best ever....
Damn right!
You said it
Right before the assault of the internet age on humanity...🙃🙏😎
Yeah definitely. So many unique ideas and beautiful songs. Better than the majority of songs nowadays.
🖤
This song is a masterpiece, a GIFT!
It gives me the goosebumps!
Me too!
Me 3
So agree !
All the pain; all the suffering, it was worth it, just to hear great music like this....
My heart cries for the music, times, people and places. I miss it so.
I am with you William
I'm obssesed with Richard Butler, he is a great GIFT
and freedom. we were free, for real.
@@sifu64 got that right hun
Hell yeah, I really miss the late 70's and 80's.
the 80's were a fucking great time!!!! Kids think now is so special, the 21st century is all stupid electronics....the 80's was real FUN!!!!!!! And WE all know what I am talking about!
This song defined the 80s for me.
In my humble opinion, one of the finest love songs to come out of the 80s.
One of the finest and yet not even a top 5 for the very underrated Psychedelic Furs.
i see no lies.
Brett, I agree. Totally underrated song. I was 14 when this came out and after this and Love My Way I was just mesmerized by this band.
You are completely right. I almost get like a warmness when I hear the opening bars..
@@SNAFU78 always, always darling
I'm now 57 and really miss our younger days. A truly incredible band.
They are still touring - I saw them in July. Ethereal ear candy....
Amen
I'm 58 and I know how you feel. Just remember "You never know what you had until it's gone forever."
I'm 58 years young, too. It's depressing to be living in these times. I wish I could go back.😞💔
Me too ...wish to return to those beloved days ..
happy to be in this era..it brings back my teenage memories
The perfect all encompassing representation of the 80's in one song. ❤
I thought the 80's would never end. Being young, the future ahead of you with no worries, good health and fun times. Now its all a memory too look back and wonder. I started the 80's being 18 yrs old and now in 18 yrs i will once again be in the 80's. that may not count but I was able to make it this far.
2023 I'm leaving this comment here so that after a week or a month or a year when someone likes it, I'll get reminded of this masterpiece🙋
Hey Sister, I feel you 3/25/24. I love the Psyc Furs, the soundtrack of my youth and yours, too.
PING! A great GenX campfire song too!
I'm 700 years old and this song makes my immortal heart feel things.
Whatever happened to these endless memories? Music today doesn't speak to me anymore.
'thinking of a place' is a pretty good 'modern song
beautiful to put on while working too ( and yea i'm an 80's person too )
Us Larry, that is >>>>US
To all those that had their prime years during the 80's... I envy you. 80's music is gold. I apologize for the garbage they're crapping out these days
Very well stated-
No need to envy us, you can make 80’s music your music too.
I want to buy all of you a beer. Cheers!
Andrew, so glad you have found this music
This song is a virtual time machine which take me back to my high school days in the 80's. I really love this song. ❤
why that the late music is more meaningful and beautiful than today? 2023
Richard Butler's voice is unique, but I think one of the aspects of this song that makes it absolutely great is the background lyrics behind the chorus vocals (Roger Morris & Mars Williams) that overlap with Butler's voice. I think it adds a sense of melancolia that creates these emotions...
Lyrics:
Drums beat time in...
you and I and...
rain don't fall down...
here no more it's...
coming down to...
losing it in you.
We were young. Carefree. Silly schoolboy crushes meant the world....soldier....war....depression...alcoholism....divorce....two beautiful girls who are all my love....slow recovery....contented happiness..and an old man finds this song again. Life is a circle.
How eloquent you are. You have expressed all that you can in my same life!! Thank you so much for that
I was replying to Historyn
I hope you are well a day have peace now. Life is unpredictable.
An old man? You can't be that old?
Nice way to put it. My story is similar, but only one daughter and I don’t suffer from depression but my daughter does, and yet here we both are listing to this amazing song 38 years later
The melancholia this creates is HUGE.
I agree.
Somehow it just makes me so sad, melancholy is too mild a word.
Can't even describe it, but the feeling just washes over me again and again.
I know hunny!!
@@frankzambory8831 cannot stop it
My theory is that 80s music is both sad and happy at the same time because it was made during the cold war.
We learned how to have fun and rad dance parties with the spectre of a possible nuclear holocaust in the backs of our minds.
I suppose that gives us something in common with the lost generation of WW1 and the generation that endured WW2.
Very Huge
Beautiful beautiful. I hope wherever she is she hears this song and maybe just maybe she thinks of me
I can listen to this song a million times and I will never get tired of it
Rip JR Romero 2/28/72 - 9/2/23 rest easy dear., miss u so, but i c u daily)
Back when music had soul, feeling and was just generally good.
A man in my shoes runs a light
And all the papers lied tonight
But falling over you
Is the news of the day
Angels fall like rain
And love, love, love, love is all of heaven away (Love, love, love)
Inside you the time moves
And she don't fade
The ghost in you
She don't fade
Inside you the time moves
And she don't fade (Don't fade)
A race is on I'm on your side
And hearing you my engines die
I'm in a mood for you
For running away
Stars come down in you
And love, love, love you can't give it away (love, love, love, love)
Inside you the time moves
And she don't fade
The ghost in you
She don't fade
Inside you the time moves
And she don't fade (in you)
Don't you go
It makes no sense
When all your talking supermen
Just take away the time
And get in the way
Ain't it just like rain
And love, love, love, love is only heaven away (love, love, love, love)
Inside you the time moves
And she don't fade
The ghost in you
She don't fade
Inside you the time moves
And she don't fade
The ghost in you
She don't fade
Inside you the time moves
And she don't fade
The ghost in you
She don't fade
Inside you the time moves
And she don't fade
lovely lyrics
Thank You!
Letra de un surrealismo increíble 👌
Inside you the time moves and she don't fade
(Drums beat time in you and I and)
The Ghost in you she don't fade
(Rain don't fall down here no more it's)
Inside you the time moves and she don't fade
(Coming down to losing it and)
The ghost in you she don't fade
(Drums beat time in you and I and)
Inside you the time moves and she don't fade
(Rain don't fall down here no more it's)
The ghost in you she don't fade

When I hear this song it brings me back in the 80s. Where everything is better than what we have now. People were more caring and giving and honest back in the 80s.
So true 🇦🇺

@@ndugu77 It would be pretty awesome if heaven was eternity living in the 80s.
@@jennyn5692 I have no problem with your remark whatsoever!!!!
I was born in 1996. I love 80s music. I don't care what my peers think of me, I believe I have a good taste when it comes to music.
I wonder if every generation looks back at their teens and early 20's the same way. Wow, what a time it was... 1981-1990
I was 17 in 1980...The 80's ,you just had to be there!!
Was a great time to be young
What did you think of this song in particular when it came around? What was your reaction to it and the culture around this song like back then?

One of the greatest songs of all time. Period. End of story. Love it. Thank you for creating this song. So beautiful.
Just heard this song after decades and it just took me back in time instantly. How could I have forgotten such a piece of art ! Epic sing
Yep, just now had the same experience...like I was really there again.
Richard Butler has several great songs
Shame on you , never again
As a 12 year old Black kid in the projects of Camden N.J. I didn't know what kind of music this is but I LOVED it.
you are my hero
Trump's Bane most BEAUTIFUL. comment I have read all day!
Trump's Bane Always loved this!! ❤❤
Trump's Bane I find your claim very difficult to believe and, in fact I don't believe you at all.
So I got paid good and could listen to great 80's music for 8 hrs yes life was great sure miss those days...
one of the best things about 50 years old,is the fact that i lived my teenage years in the 80's that is priceless and i am grateful !!!
52 year old down in central México..totally agree with you.
Psychedelic Furs is a band that aged well. I saw them live 3 years ago. The air of sophistication was palpable.
3:58 I’d love to see them live. Time travel and timelessness ❤
Palpable? Indeed!
i remember buying this album after seeing this video, My favorite song by them. A fantastic band.
Forever a fan.
Richard Butler has one of those rare unmistakable voices he is a legend.
I absolutely agree. He is so underrated and so is this band.
And so is this song...
so sooo true
Just saw them in Pensacola and he still sounds good. Of course when they play live it's better than recorded sound imho. Way more punch with live sound.
love you so much beautiful tracy.
me and my wife just came home from a terrible day at both of our jobs and this comes on and I just looked over and her and sang this to her and just seeing her smile will always make me happy no matter how bad both of our days are

It truly was a special Decade for Music .

The 80's were such a great time for music.

...and so many of us took it for granted:-(

Yup. The horrors they put up on ''trending'' today on U-tube are enough to make me vomit.
Most of it is anti-melody and insults mixed with threats and whores

Just take away the time
And get in the way
R.I.P. Mars Williams.. will be missed!!!

You could never be more right.. I'm so sorry about your Daddy. But this song is for you if it represents your memory. ❤️
Also baby.. He had great taste in music
