    • @proverbalizer
      @proverbalizer Před rokem

      in Nigeira Fufu means it's made from fermented cassava, this is called poundo yam to distinguish it from the real deal pounded yam (Iyan) that is made from fresh yams after peeling, boiling, and pounding. Poundo is basically the fast food version of pounded yam...it's good, but never as good as the original which takes a lot more work to cook

    • @proverbalizer
      @proverbalizer Před rokem

      lol, not really. too soft means you need more flour, too hard means you put too much flour but you can still salvage it by adding more boiling water. You have to learn by trying. I can just automatically know how much water I need to put in the pot, and look inside the pot and instinctively know how much flour to pour in.
      But I do that with rice too...I can't remember that last time I ever measured the amount of water or the amount of rice

  • @proverbalizer
    @proverbalizer Před rokem

    I find it's really easiest to avoid lumps when you pour all the flour into the boiling water at once and then stir stir stir. But actually making smooth poundo is very easy....getting amala with no lumps is trickier

      @chimenekounou5561 Před 4 lety +1

      ok Thanks
      Iwas talking of the flour itself not the dough. The thing is the first time i tried , Icooked the yam before drying it instead of paraboing it. when igot to know that i was not supposed to tatally cook the yam,I paraboiled it but after dryind it changed it's colour.Is it the quality of the yam i used or I didn't follow the process well? the second thing I would like to know is how long does it take to paraboil the yam? Is it 5 min ,10min or more?
      Thank you in advance!

      If you would like a yam video or fufu with Yams. Just request it and i Will schedule to make a video detailed step by step video for you, when i buy yams. Difficult to find yams here but i Will make efforts to get one for your sake okay! 👌

    God sent His only begotten son to this world for you(John3:16).
    He so dearly loves you and wanted a relationship with mankind that He sent Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour, to this earth to cleanse us from all sin and restore the brokenness of man’s relationship with God. He died on the cross for our sins and freedom - that we may have eternal life (Jn 3v16) and three days later resurrected - just as prophesied previously in the Bible to show how He conquered death for us!(1 Corinth 15:55-57)
    All He wants is you. Ask Him to forgive you, cleanse you from sin through the blood of His precious son Jesus, come into your heart and you’ll feel joy and peace like no other. I pray that you’ll never be the same and that you’ll feel and deeply know and understand the love of God from this day forward! In Jesus’ mighty and precious name. Amen.🙏🏾 I love you and God loves you much much more.
    I also urge you to pray always (1 Thess 5:17) and read the Bible as often as you can to develop your relationship with God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) and to know Him more. Stay blessed.❤️

    .Are you a good person? Well God gave us the ten commandments as the standard of righteousness. How many lies have you told in your life? Have you ever stolen anything even if the value was small? Have you ever looked at anyone with lust (God considers that to be adultery in the heart). If you’ve done these things God sees you as a liar, a thief, and an adulterer at heart. God is perfectly Just, Good, and Holy. His justice means hell for those who are guilty. A lot of people think they are “good people” but good deeds can never make you right with God. Would a good judge let a murderer go because they did good things? Of course not, that judge would be corrupt. And since God is good, He must punish all evil. But God made a way for us terrible sinners to be reconciled to Him and save us from His wrath. He became human in the person of Jesus Christ. He died on the cross taking our punishment on Himself, dying, and rising from the dead. He paid the debt we owed because of our sin! God commands everyone to repent and trust in Jesus alone for salvation. Have a wonderful day!
