- Here is a fabrication shop we are proud to be associated with! In this video you will see
the biggest anvil sold at the best price I've ever heard of. Also, a super-sized shop built
induction forge that Jim Denny built for a rock pit conveyer repair job.

Really great episode Scott. I love the lifelong friendship coming out at the end. "...and frankly I'm surprised you're still alive."😄
Scott, You have a knack for finding and interviewing interesting craftsmen, keep up the good work.
Scott you have an incredible friend group. Thanks for sharing the people you know with us, it's always interesting and there is always something to learn from it. Cheers
I love listening to a couple gentlemen like this reminiscing about past exploits and experiences!
Watching this before heading out to work in the cold and I gotta say it always warms me up to watch your videos.
It’s good to look back on crazy projects you’ve been through.
We did a complete renovation on the foyer of a functional high rise at nights over a couple of weeks. Every morning people would arrive as we were leaving, and it looked like nothing had happened. Until suddenly the joinery went in, then the green wall, then the lighting blah blah, one of those jobs you’re glad it’s over because nothing can go wrong once it’s done
Wow,
Pretty cool he built that coil.
Seeing those thick pieces bending is always fun to watch.

SE Oregon
Sweet anvil, very jealous
Nice place there. It's good to have knowledgeable friends 👍👍👍
That press is awesome! Still waiting for "Keep Up the Good Work" merch!
The boys are a tonic, skilled craftsman always talk about building in some form, it's always good hopeful energy. Can't beat it 💪👍
I built a small jet engine that uses a rotational induction heater…not super efficient…but on small scale and with an inconel radiator tube…it does work…there’s quite a bit of heat loss but on a tiny scale it holds enough heat to produce energy for propulsion of a model jet…I’m more on the engineering side … but this is the beauty of math science and the application of the two to make something magnificent …
Always such a joy to come home from a long day of work and find ES has dropped another video. I go heat up some food and enjoy eating while watching.
That is a miller proheat, I run those pretty often for heat treatment and stress relief of fabrications where I work. One of those power sources maxes out at 35kw to answer your question on what the power output is. We have one oven at work that runs off 3 of those in parallel. 105kw in total
5/8 400 plate 48" long and y'all bent it! Color me impressed!
Thanks for the awesome content and great videos!!
It's the cyclic rate that does the rapid heating. Instead of regular 60 cycles ,induction heaters use 800 cycles to get those molecules buzzing!!
Now that’s a neat shop. Thanks for sharing your videos and keep them coming please.
Another fine business in Southern Oregon 👍
Thank you Scott
Nice, That Induction heater is awesome.
I have now watched every episode of your channel and now I just wait in anticipation for new releases. I am now in pursuit of the same with EC2. Great channels. Keep up the GREAT content.
That's quite a feat! Thanks for all the support!
Love these videos
I made a lot of stake pockets on the Grey mechanical brake on the left in the thumb nail.
THANK YOU KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK ! 🖖👌
Wow! Nice find.
Great Content, most interesting facility and smart gentlemen!!
Pretty cool!
Thankyou 👍
Watching this while booting up to help build a culvert pipe on his land.
Great video
Great story
Whoa.
I wore White Ox gloves when I was hauling chips/sawdust/bark in the Willamette Valley back in the early 2000s.
They were perfect for wet weather work and I kept three pair in the truck so I never had to wear a soaking wet pair. The dash vents helped dry them out in between use.
Haven’t seen that brand for a while.
7:54 "ran out there with an engine jet for a car". Is that guy friend with Warped Perception haha
I think he says '... engine jack for a car'
Good morning amigo:::))))
induction forge = yes
The heater if you will. I remember the company I used to work for would use one of them for pre/and post heating on heavywall pipe
I’m curious how the induction forge is wired. It looks like a giant electromagnet. I watched a few videos on the subject. What you can see does look like an electromagnet but the heart of the unit is a bit more involved. 😊
Pretty much that. It will be cold I would imagine even with currently flowing until you stick some metal in it.
I wish the accupress we have at work had those wings outside the rams
Have to wonder what those parts are being used for. 5/8 a400 that’s no joke to bend!
They’re slats for a rock conveyor.
Will you have any coffee mug merch soon?
circa 2013, I picked up a 160lb Hay Budden for $150, deals can be found if you are lucky!
I got one of those not quite as heavy.
Wow...5/8 steel....jeeze...
👍
*_So what were they bending in the brake press? Asking for a friend._*
5/8 AR400, they were flights for a rock conveyor.
*@TheOldPioneer AH! I see said the blind man. Thanks!*
That’s what I wanted to know. Thanks for asking
Oh look
🎉🎉🎉🎉
700 lb Fisher for $500, there's a fellow near me has a 350 lb not sure of maker wants $3,000. So I didn't really look at it that well just sitting outside in the elements.

Must be a lot safer for your health than coal fumes
Man the auto generated closed captions really tried their best lol
Whoa buddy this is pretty much Greek to me. 🤣
Should automate the process. Super inefficient to have two people do it by hand
It’s so nice to escape politics. I bartended for years, and my two rules were no politics or religion. Find our common ground.
Every good deal I've seen on marketplace has been a scam.
this is so MANLY, like watch "TOOL TIME" MANLY MEN!!!!!
why ask someone a question or to tell their story and then keep interrupting them so they cannot talk? this is rude but typical of some people from certain areas of the country!................g
Uninteresting.... get back to the garage build.
