Peter Anton creates mouth-watering food replicas that are so realistic, you'll want to taste them. The self-taught artist loves learning about the relationships people have with their food. He spends a lot of time studying (and munching) on his subjects before he starts sculpting. Each food sculpture can take between four to six weeks to complete.

i love the detail of the empty spots in the donut box with the slight grease “residue” spots and bits of icing leftover from the “missing” donuts, and the empty spots in the chocolate box with the slightly rumpled papers... gives these pieces such a playful feel, especially with how colorful and huge they are!!! looking at these sculptures makes me happy and i imagine owning one of these pieces is a delight :’) you just cant be stressed when you’re looking at it haha
