We just left the Philippines after a 3 week vacation. I haven't been back there since 98' and boy, was it amazing. Thanks to your channel it gave us a better idea of what to expect. At times it was overwhelming, especially in how Manila has grown. An amazing trip and I'm looking forward to our next visit back. The humidity made it a challenge, but finding air conditioned malls and shops provided the relief.
Thanks again for showcasing the Philippines and helping us Californians maximize our vacation.
Wow, 2024 vs. 1998 or 26 long years. I'm sure you found many new places in the city that were non-existent before. I also had a cousin who migrated to the US and just visited the country after 12 years. He got lost and was so mesmerized. He even visited his alma mater and was surprised by the presence of residential tall buildings in the district. The Skyway from the airport to Quezon City was really his most praised infrastructure in the city. Imagine, it took him less than 45 minutes from airport to Quezon City via Skyway.
The kids were so good in this episode! They are rockstars 🤩
+3 on this esp Nia !!! 😊😊😊
Oh thank you! I guess they were all very hungry and had a lot to say about it🤣
Thanks a million!🎉😆My lil talkative babies👧🏻🧑🏻
Thanks Xel!! Knox usually talks the most but Nia loves buffets and this was like a street food buffet. Lil bites out of everything😂As you can see, she loved the food!

Well usually she is a picky eater but she was hungry and wanted to try it all. I think next time, I guess I won’t feed her a big breakfast before a street food tour🤭😂
@@MomDuty indeed! A Binondo food trip should start from breakfast to afternoon snacks for me! Like a 10am to 3pm itinerary for me. What time was this one btw? I noticed no crowds and less lines.
I really love you try so much food thank you for the tour of this city big hugs
Of course! We want to try it all!☺️
Yum! 😋 love this episode. The dumplings at the beginning were my favorite. Now I’m so hungry 🤤

great vid! I hope you guys have your own regular local TV show 😊
Thanks a million!🎉 Yes, one day🤞That would be incredible!!!!!
The violet fire truck was actually donated by the owner of Eng Bee Tin to the Chinatown community and the reason why it's colored violet is because of their ube hopia.
THANK YOU and Bravo Ocampos! This makes you relatable to many of us Pinoys!! Street food and super affordable! I don't do buffets or luxe villa stays... but this one i definitely am raring to go and do even solo !!!

@@MomDuty I will be in the Philippines on June I hope I get to see you guys in BGC. Btw, I don’t know if you have been to Camayan Coast in Bataan. I would recommend to check it out your children will love it. It’s a new place that would be like another BGC. It’s only 1 hour by boat close to MOA. Check it out on CZcams you can watch and see what I’m talking about.
you guys are making me hungrry watching dis @6ammm
I loved this video! 🥰 I have been to the Philippines many times, but never been to Binondo. Thanks for touring us around. :)
Even if @MomDuty did not get soup no. 5, I still subscribed.😍 BTW, the reason why there are lots of volunteer fire trucks in Binondo is because businesses and warehouses are so close to each other. In case of fire, fire trucks are nearby to extinguish the fire quickly. Those firetrucks are actually owned by the business owners. I actually learned that from Dad Duty and Knox from their Binondo video 1,5yrs back. See, I’ve been watching the Ocampo family closely. 😀
I love it!!! You are a good listener my friend! Thanks so much for all your support over the years🙏Means so much to us😭🫶🫶🫶
If you happen to visit this part of the globe 🇫🇮(Finland}, I definitely would love to meet you guys. Or if I get the chance to come home and visit the Philippines. Ingat❣️

In Canada we call the balls used in your Soup #5 Canadian Oysters or Rockie Mountain Oysters.
Maybe next time, try to bring some sriracha sauce or some tabsco for the kick. Enjoy 😊
Such a fun episode!😊 I thought Nia was a picky eater but it turns out she loves binondo street foods so much! 😅 Congratulations on your 200k subscribers soon guys!🎉

Thank you sooooo much!!!!! Hope you enjoyed it!
Hey tsikwa! Scram,to the phil,
husband speaking - the next dinner date with the Lockwoods, I think it would be fun if KNOX and COLT, who will eat anything, would do a run down on a meal. They
both seem to know how to explain what they are eating and how it tastes. How about it ?
YES! I LOVE this idea!!! I could hear those boys talk about food forever!🤣😂
Hello lovely family. How are you dealing with the heat? It's sizzling hot and we never experienced this in previous years.
Try it Try it Try it ... MD and I'll subscribe again! Deal? Yes!
I really don't know anyone specifically ordering Soup#5 in a restaurant. But in 'love motels',they get ordered as locals believe they're an aphrodisiac.
You should have bought fruits from there and brought it to your place in bgc. ITS WAAAAAY CHEAPER there. By the way avid viewer here. ALSO a neighbor of yours in BGC. Im from Luxe Residences hehe
Great video!
Try durian hopia. it's good!
I love Binondo. It's not yet a thing of the past . It's tradition.
I can relate with momduty,I love food with chilli otherewise the food is dull.
Haha! Yes! I love chili on everything! It makes food taste better🤪😛🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
Binondo is also have noodle restaurants 😊

very good tour guide
Yes they were! Nia and I learned a few things🥰👍
Question? Do you guys still live in woodland hills Ca? Or your now living in Philippines? I'm from Torrance CA.
We go back and forth.🇺🇸🇵🇭Ahhh Torrance! I used to volunteer at the Children’s Institute there. I miss that place.
I must say mom duty (Wife) is sooo beautiful. She should learn tagalog so she can be an actress here. 😅😊
I agree 🎉 Rocio is so pretty and the rest of the fam is amazing❤ they'll be a good celebrity here

The young girl is so smart...😊

Man I want fried siopao I’m eating Kare Kare rn 😅
Haha🤣Fried siopao is SOOOOO friggin’ good. We ended getting more to go🤭🤣
Too bad soup # 5 is not available its a well known aphrodisiac. Its good that Nia and Rocio tried Chinatowns foodtrippin episode this time around
I know. It must be very popular since it’s always gone. It doesn’t sound yummy but I heard it’s very tasty 😋
🍱 🍱 🥘 🥘 🍲 🍲 🤤 🤤
So flavorful and delicious 🤤
Manila Chinatown known also to have many Volunteer Fire Associates, I wonder if dad duty can volunteer a day 😅 and mom duty with the kids will under go fire fighting training 🤣👍
That would be cool! I’ll have to look that up. Speaking of fire fighting, do you know why the firetrucks are purple? We didn’t figure it out🤦♀️
20:15 The purple firetrucks are from the sponsor/donor ENG BEE TIN. I super loveeee their ube hopia!
@@MomDuty Yes, it's sponsored by the famous hopia store in binondo Eng Bee tin. And known for there UBE flavored hopia, that's why the truck is colored purple ☺️👍 and also the restaurant you visited on the 2nd flr. I believe the proceeds from that resto goes to the volunteer fire trucks 😉

I think soup #5 is for adult males only and not advisable for females and children!
