    Have you ever tried to do a core workout and instead of feeling your abs, you are feeling the strain in your neck or back? It can be tough to stick through the workout if you constantly end up in pain and discomfort. If this sounds like you, watch this video and start off with these exercises to strengthen your core, without adding that extra tension on your lower back and neck!!
    Working your core is important for a stronger body and better posture, but if you are also hurting your neck, back, or hips in the process, then you may be missing out on some of the benefits of ab workouts altogether. One of the most common complaints from traditional ab exercises is neck pain. Too often the movement of core exercises puts undue strain on the neck and upper back. A lot of this has to do with form and our posture from spending entirely too much time on the computer. But don't give up on your abs altogether-my creative core exercises will leave you with a strong core without the pain in the neck. As a certified personal trainer and coach, Im here to help you find exercises that strengthen your core without strain and help you move better in your body.       This was great! I am 63 with a neck full of metal. I am in great shape but find it difficult to work my core without straining my neck so thank you for the video. I will be back for more!!

    My neck always suffer when I do abs exercise, but I kept telling myself it'd get better when my abs get stronger. It never did but you made me realize I don't have to feel bad about that! I need to strength my abs without hurting my neck first. Thank you so much for this routine, Caroline!

    Your positivity is infectious. I'm only just 23 and have been struggling with many physical health issues within the last year. I got into exercising around 3 months ago and have recently (past 2 weeks) got into a routine. I was beginning to hate ab days because of how much the exercises hurt my back but I smiled so much during and after this exercise because of your positivity and I want to thank you for that.     Thank you so much for this workout, Caroline. I’ll be 71 in April and have been doing this workout almost everyday for a couple of months. It has made an amazing change to my tummy. My husband even comments on it. I plan to continue and have told 2 of my daughters about it.

    Update: I've been doing this exercise for a while now and it really helped me so much. First my waist is more defined, and i don't suffer from bloating anymore i feel lighter in my stomach area and most importantly I'm actually looking forward the next exercise because i don't have to worry about neck pain anymore i can fully focus on working out the abdominal muscles. Seriously one of my favourites 😍❤️

    Thank you so much for creating and sharing this. I've always had neck and back discomfort (even in my much younger days) when doing traditional ab exercises. This is the first time in my life where I didn't have to put any strain on my back and neck. The bonus too is your exercises make use of our arms and legs to stretch the core. While I have to work on my form while following along with you,, I definitely enjoyed doing these exercises. Thank you!

    I'm in fairly good shape...I got to the gym everyday but I've always shyed away from abs routines in fear of my neck hurting...as I've hurt it doing combat sports. This was helpful and it wasn't too much. Thank you for this. 🙏🏼🙏🏼definitely earned a like a sub.

    I am so glad I found this. I am doing The 75 hard challenge and I injured my shoulder and my neck and I actually popped my collarbone out but I didn’t want to quit so I’ve been having to do very select work out in order to not re-injured or hurt myself and not feel my challenge this was very helpful

    My neck is so tense I've developed vertigo. I have spend the last year figuring out what was wrong. My atlas and axis were misaligned. Finding workouts like this that prevents further damage is a life-saver! And really appreciate the positive energy. Thank you!

    Absolutely awesome! Thanks Caroline! I have Ankylosing Spondylitis...an auto-immune disease that causes inflammation & chronic pain. AS worsens with rest & gets better with exercise, so I'm a big believer in Movement is Medicine! Your positivity was fab! 💃

    You got me with your positivity and cheerful disposition! I liked this workout but I can’t do Russian twists. I love Russian twists and they are the most effective way to get strong, ripped abs but they kill my neck. My husband is a chiropractor and he says “no way to the twists!” 😮 wish there was a way to do them that doesn’t strain my neck. No real good way to modify them. Thanks for your fun videos.

    I was in a head on collision (drunk driver was doing 70mph, we were doing 25mph coming out of hairpin turn) over 20yrs ago & had a severe whiplash injury. This work out was grest & did not strain my neck at all!
    When i was more fit, an ab workout would not strain my neck LOL
    Thank God for muscle memory 😊

    Man I absolutely destroyed my neck by doing crunches. My skull was in pain and I had to rest a lot. I'll give your no neck pain workouts a try, thanks for showing us how to do them.

    Glad I finally found you or you decided to do more videos. I first found you about a year or two ago for weightless arm workouts & enjoyed it but couldn’t find additional videos. But saw you in my feed today and did the neck friendly ab workout, which is also wrist friendly workout. Having LC mEant I had to tweak my exercise to keep me active on a continuous basis.     I threw my back out a week ago and I'm finally feeling ok enough to start exercising today, CAREFULLY. I've had back issues in the past due to not carrying myself correctly because my abdominal muscles weren't up to par. Pretty certain that's what caused this last incident. However, I always have issues with my neck and back whenever I do ab workouts. Thank you so much for this workout. It really did work my abs hard, but my back and my neck don't feel the strain. I will be saving this and doing it every day for the next week at least.
