Developing thunderstorms and lots of convergence - Timelapse - Herne Bay, Kent - 24th May 2022

An unstable environment due to an upper trough moving eastward through SE England and developing convergence zones that were littered throughout the country. Convergence zones allowed for forced ascent of cells which can be seen in parts during this video and therefore allowed for brief thunderstorms that popped up sporadically with quite the punch behind them. Two cells appear to merge around 4 pm in the footage (01:35) which made for an active overhead thunderstorm as it produced strikes nearby although none can be seen on the video.

Very nice to see how the higher altitude misty chemtrails build up the rain clouds. Chemtrails frequency steered.
