    Doug, I am so thoroughly impressed by you. Just so everyone knows I have his magazines for every single one of my FX guns, my Pantera, my crown, and all three calibers of my impact, I am so thoroughly impressed with his magazines and his design, and how smooth and how perfect they operate, they are extremely smooth, but they operate perfectly! So I’m going to exaggerate a little bit on what he stated That people in the field were saying, because I feel like these magazines, absolutely operate, perfectly flawlessly. Literally, they never jam, you can load it as fast as you want by cock in the gun if it were a fully automatic gun, I think these magazines would absolutely keep up, and never jam. I have not had one single jam in any of the calibers on the impact on the crown on the Pantera, they work flawlessly! No exaggeration, after I found these, and got the 30 caliber for my FX impact first, I now have three of each caliber for the impact, and three of each of the Panhtera, and, Crown, and they all are perfect. This is a design that is some thing like what I would have come up with because I think like Doug does, and I’m a perfectionist as he is, but, he’s the one who came up with this, and he deserves a lot of credit for it. Manufacturing and designing something like this is very challenging, and painstaking when you’re a perfectionist, and that should be recognized. Because I’m using 48, grain 25 caliber slugs in all of my 25s that would not fit in the FX magazines. Other than a Panhtera, Magazines, and every single one operates perfectly. When you turn the cylinder, you will not hear one bit of friction, if you turn the cylinder on most other magazines, you hear immediately plastic on plastic friction! These magazines you hear nothing! They are so incredibly smooth and such perfectly operating magazines, I’m literally thoroughly impressed with Doug and his design and the way he runs his business. So I completely vouch for all of these magazines and any design that he comes up with because his character will not allow him to produce a product that is less than as close to perfect as it can be. So you can be confident that you are getting a quality product anytime you buy something from Stud magazines.

      Hi Gary, thanks for your order! Because the 40 round mags are on an "oval" pattern it creates a few technical issues for designing a STUD sorter/feeder system vs the STUD FX Factory mags. We will however keep your suggestion in mind for the future.

    I'd instantly buy one if you had one for Maverick .25....
    Hopefully you'll recognize the demand and fill the need.
    Also, have you considered manufacturing a "standard" capacity magazine so we don't have to put up with the flaws of the FX mag you pointed out in your video? As you pointed out, the star is aweful, the spring sucks and I've had to buy packs of the retainer o-ring multiple times in the last year (and they always disappear at the worst time so it's immensely frustrating)
    If I'm in the woods squirrel hunting I want compact without the large capacity magazine sticking out the side so having a standard capacity mag that loaded and feed with your precision would be awesome.

    • @studmagloader
      @studmagloader  Před 2 lety

      Hi Bob, I apprechiate your thoughts. We are almost ready to start shipping .25 x 40 rounds in the Impact. There are some technical issues with making a .25 Maverick...Namely, it will be even longer than the .177 and .22. The issue is the chain is different for a .25 which makes it a 100% clean sheet redesign. I will think about the STUD version of the standard factory mags however. Doug

      @studmagloader  Před rokem

      Thanks for your comment, we appreciate it.
      The scope position required to clear the mag is noted in our "Important Fitment Notes".
      Here it is again for your information:
      "If you have a Dreamline or Crown with the "forward" magazine position, be sure your scope turret is not directly centered with the rifle magazine opening. If this is the case, the scope turret can/will interfere with the ability to slide the magazine fully into position.
      You will need to either slide the scope forward or backward a little or possible install taller scope risers.
      Be sure to give this a check before placing your order."
      As is our policy we look forward to having you contact us for the return of your magazine if you choose not to adjust your scope.
      Have a great day!

    • @studmagloader
      @studmagloader  Před rokem

      Hello David, thanks for your comment. The issue with a .30 cal. with our 40 round mags, is it would need to get quite a bit longer than it is now. The way it's designed now when the rifle is setting on a tripod with the grip touching, there is just a bit of clearance between the mag and the flat surface. There is also a major redesign on the chain because the centers would need to change. However, I will keep this in mind and keep it considered for future updates. I would also suggest you check out our NEW Replacement for the FX Impact factory mags. Below is a recent customer comment:
      Brent Simpson "I have to admit these magazines are about as perfect as perfect can get. I have lots of 3d printed magazines, and a few are actually really nice and work great. These, however, are beyond what I expected. For the same cost as a OEM magazine from FX, there is no comparison to the superior quality of tgis magazine. It will also hold just about any slug you can imagine. My 22 caliber Stud Mag holds all my 40 grain slugs as well as my 15.89 pellets. One and done! Available at www.myhighpressureair.com"
