  • Enjoy this Dandelion Flower time lapse with soil cross section video showing how roots ant upper part of plant grows to seed head. It is about how to germinate and grow a Dandelion flower from seed.
    It took over one year for a Dandelion planted from Seed to make Flowers.
    This project took over one year to be completed.
    But we achieved our Target.
    Project is completed!
    Dandelions don't have real stems. Their seedlings develop into a rosette of leaves on the soil's surface and produce flowers on hollow stalks. The flowers bloom about eight to 15 weeks after germination at the end of the seedling stage. Individual plants bloom continuously while active, but most profusely in May and June. A single flower produces up to 400 seeds, but averages 180. Seeds ripen from nine to 12 days after the flowers bloom.

I like to see flowers and various interesting plants. This year I have something that looks like grass in a way but has pretty purple tiny flowers. I plan to attempt to identify it. Might even help them spread a little more since they are nice to look at.

  • @Theleaddog
    @Theleaddog Před 23 dny +1

    So many people are clueless.
    Dandelion is an amazing plant. It is there for a reason and its job is to improve the soil. We can use the entire plant to make coffee, teas, food and medicine. No part of this plant is toxic. The plant is not a weed. All plants growing where we don’t want them are weeds. This is an incredible plant. It has nectar and pollen and is able to reproduce without any help from pollinators. The dandelion is the first food of the year for hibernating insects when they wake in the spring. The dandelions only stay around for as long as it takes for them to repair the soil. Once its job is done, it will leave. You can’t fight them. They always win. It takes one tiny root left behind to regenerate the whole plant. Pick them, eat them and enjoy them. When the flower is done, they become a field of wishes for us all! Love these plants and care for them! Enjoy all they have to offer. It is the first flower a child will give you and that makes it magical all by itself.

They were my favorite flower to play with I would always rub the yellow of the flower on paper an it would be really cool, and the stem I would always look inside and see like this white stuff and always try and rub it off and play with the stem. And I loved especially when they were all white and fuzzy! Me and my friends and brother always used to make a way in them or try and get all the seeds off first. Those were some of the best moments in summer :-)

    These nuisances have evolved one of the most perfect way of seed to flower dying off into a parachute like form with a seed at the end of it just waiting for a windy day to start the process all over again

    As a kid, I had hard time believing that the yellow flower and the white fluffy plant were the same plant. Adults did tell me the truth, I just assumed they were wrong. In my eyes, it was clearly two completely different plants.

      You can literally do this by just growing a dandelion and setting up a time lapse camera. It's really simple

    So BEAUTIFUL... Thank You for taking the time to make the video. I Love Dandelions and just moved from CA the only place I have ever known where dandelions are RARELY seen to MI where I am in Dandelion HEAVEN because they are EVERYWHERE they are so in your face out here they should be the State Flower. I used to get in trouble as a little girl when my mom caught me blowing the seeds. Knowing what I know today about Dandelion I see the fields blanketed with the final stage of seeding and I want to run through it release ALL the seeds screaming at my mother about all the health benefits

    These dandelions are SLOOOW. The ones in my yard are turning from flower to seed in 2 days. By the next day, all the seeds have flown away. They need to hurry, before I catch them and pull them out 😂
