- We headed deep into the mountains with our dogs, Kicker and Gru. We stayed in an off the grid cabin which offered some of the best backcountry skiing and snowboarding in the world! These types of adventures with our companions make the most incredible bond and an experience we will never forget!

I’m getting a golden pup here in a couple weeks and about to enjoy my second winter living out here in CO. Can’t wait till my dog is old enough to do this with him one day!

Love the video but dogs need snow shoes , feet protection. frostbite is possible with doggies too. Just like kids they will keep playing even though feet are numb and in danger. i love dog hero videos when they are represented well.

this is such a beautiful scenery......excuse my ignorance here but i am clueless to snow since i live in houston texas an it never snows i am curious to know if the doggies need shoes for the snow? thank you so much for sharing your adventures with us......smooches and hugs for gru and kicker
Thank you! Both of these guys are well acclimated to the snow and don’t need much other than some extra food abs a warm place to sleep.

Slow and steady. Introducing him early is important. The biggest thing is making sure your dog doesn't run into your edges.
I’ve always wanted to take my dog to the mountains and let him run around but I’m afraid a bear might show up or also deer I don’t want him chasing some deer lol
Thankfully Kicker doesn't try to chase anything typically!

Thank you! Yes, we are very particular about snow pack and avoiding terrain that seems at all suspect.

Labrador digs have no problem with living in snow and made a tour in deep snow ?
Kicker has been in the snow with me since I brought him home and snow seems to be where he's happiest. We make sure to not take him on days that are too cold, but normally we have to tell him when it's time to come inside!
