aussie here, we used to listen to ACDC down the back of the school bus in the early 70s, this is a brilliant cover, technically perfect, i fkn love it, best cover I've heard of it, well most enjoyable at least. i think it was the first Nemophila song i ever heard and sucked me in and been a fan ever since
Yes, first time Nemophila was this song for me too! I didn't think a Japanese girl band could do it justice, but I was sooooo wrong. The smiles ensured I was hooked forever.

yea it popped up in suggested videos one day, and i thought "well that cant be right, i gotta see this" and had to watch it 20 times, flawless, like all their covers, better than originals in most cases. and Crazy Doctor ....holyshit, brilliant
There's a funny video where Marty Friedman does a sit down with Mayu and Saki, in one part he gives her some tips on how to pronounce her R's and L's, but reassures her not to worry about it because westerners find the thick accent cute and endearing😂.
These girls do light up the world with their smiles, they can always bring me out of the dumps😁

I love this band.
This is what you get when you take 5 Beautiful, happy, Ladies at the top of their game musically, and put them together in a Metal band..
The cutest, happiest Metal band on the planet that can do anything they want.. Bringing joy and happyness to a 'generally' dark and agressive genre..
So enjoying this new trend of beautiful women playing metal..

Very talented young women for sure. Mayu has that rasp and grit in her voice which fits the rock and metal genre perfectly. You can really notice the improvement in her English as well on their newest releases. Great Band and one of my favorites from Japan.
Havent seen this in a while. You forget how good these early covers were. Its why we loved them from day one.
Heard announcement on the radio that AC/DC tickets were selling at the door of the Tacoma dome because people were panicked the night Kuwait was invaded during the first US/Iraq war. Drove down from Seattle and saw one of the best shows of my life. I don't think Angus was on more than one foot at a time for two hours. Nemophila does them proud and might be one of the few bands I'd be just as happy to see live.
Well, I saw AC/DC playing that song ... with Bon Scott singing. 1979. In my top 3 concerts ... with Band-Maid 2019 (yes, 40 years later). Now I HAVE to see Nemophila - I follow them since their first song and you can imagine my delight when they released that cover ! Bon would have LOVE them!
The relentless energy in ttheir music is what makes it so captivating.

It seems like these ladies are just hanging out and saying to one another "Hey, let's do some AC/DC." Or Maiden, or whatever and they just do it. I would like to see them do some Sepultura.
You are right, Mayu's voice is born to ROCK hard. also there is no doubt that Mayu's pronunciation is kawaii! and I personally love this AC/DC cover too! By the way, if you are considering Reaction for your next project, I highly recommend "Brightness", an instrumental track dropped from Saki's solo project. Her talent is evident on "Marionnette" which you reviewed the other day, but Saki's guitar work on this track is breathtaking. Thanks again for your great reactions!take care🇯🇵👍

Top class Metal band, covering a top class Rock song.
AC/DC is world cultural heritage, in my opinion - without me being a fan of them. AC/DC definitely are a part of music history. And personally I have the hope, that Nemophila get there, too.

I love that Hazuki (blue guitar) made up her own solo which is really metal and speedy, The drummer did a double kick fill while generally holding back with great feel…. The whole thing is just so easy for them but clearly fun to do and they put their energy into it even if they are technically not challenged at all

Mayu's voice in these covers has this wonderful mix of Joan Jett and Pat Benatar. I just love Tamu. I cant help but smile everytime I watch her drum.

Japanese and Chinese can't pronounce R, they pronounce "R" as "L", that's why Mayu pronounced Rosie as Losie, but her English pronunciation are improving now after Martin Friedman give them an English lesson... in their videos with Martin Friedman....
