- Camping gear is very individual, and dispersed camping requires some specific gear that you may not need in a developed campground. Here, I go over our setup and why I do (and don't) like the gear we have, as well as a couple of items we have on the "to buy" list.

After all your challenging adventure trips, it's nice to see you indulge yourself with a touch of luxury. This tent looks grand! It looks like you two are having fun. Good for you. I hope your arthritis is better. I have rheumatism. There are good days and bad days; fortunately, all in all, it is progressing rather slowly.
I really appreciate that! I had my surgery Friday, so I really hope to be back to "normal" sooner than later. This was our "surgerymoon" as I'm calling it. It was a fun trip for testing out the tent and the air mattress, both of which we loved!
Rheumatism is rough, I'm sorry to hear it, but I'm glad to hear it's progressing slowly. I hope you're connected with a good rheumatologist?
@@WanderingSwitchback, I'll keep my fingers crossed for your speedy recovery! I was diagnosed with rheumatism 30 years ago, and I haven't been on medication yet. I am a certified breath therapist, and breathing exercises help a lot. I also do Taiji and QiGong combined with stretching. In my case, the key seems to be to keep moving. When the weather is exceptionally moist, I start limping, as it is worst in my toes, but all in all, I can't complain. I certainly could feel your pain in your videos. Not being able to walk properly really sucks!
Revereware! My mom had that set too and my sister and I still use them. 💜
I suspect it came standard on wedding registries! They will outlast our grandkids, though!
Love it! Quite the setup. Hope you had a great surgerymoon.
Thank you so much! We had an amazing time, and that campsite was OMG incredible.
I ran out real quick & bot a self-inflating queen air mattress from Walmart when we had surprise company once. Then I ended up using it for a yr & a half when I was remodeling a house. IT WAAY SURPASSED EXPECTATIONS. Everyone should keep one it the back of a closet.
I am the roadtrip solo minimalist camping hiking Queen! Cool to see your set-up.
Thank you! Yeah, this one really was super comfy, and we've tried several different ones. They're so versatile, like you said!
When I go solo, my setup is much more like my backpacking setup, but I will say having the big tent you can stand in was really nice!
Professor gadget 🙃😂
I have so many more! 😂 I was a gear hound LONG before CZcams!
