TAKE MY COURSE. The #1 Online acting course of actors is The Hollywood Winners Circle Academy Course. It is 6 hours of training in 65 videos, checklists and quizzes to help you get started as a professional actor and keep you on track. It walks you through training, learning what your TYPE is, getting the right headshots that match your type, It shows you how to create acting clips that match your type (which all agents and managers need from you) how to get an agent, how to meet casting directors, what to say to them, how to stay in touch with them and how to do your social media marketing like a pro actor! Actor who take the course have a clear strategy to become a working actor and are booking roles in TV and film plus getting signed to great agents! You can take the course at your own speed. You pay once and keep it forever. It is all online and it will give you a MAJOR advantage over actors who do not have it. $295 unlimited lifetime access. Http://hollywoodwinnerscircle.com/academy
The WINNERS INNER CIRCLE (WIC) is my private MASTERMIND facebook group where you can interact with me directly and on an on-going basis. People taking the course are in the groups and everyone I coach can join. I personally will go over your resumes, headshots, acting clips, marketing materials, help you write cover letters, answer your questions and give you ongoing mentorship to help you get started working in TV and Film. $190 for the year or $19 per month hollywoodwinnerscircle.com/winnersinnerscirclemastermind
You need to learn about this business, how it works, what you have to do, how to do it... and knowing this will make you more competitive and more interesting to agents and managers and casting directors. You can become an actor without it but it will take you YEARS of learning these thing on your own- because one way or another you HAVE to DO everything I am teaching in the course to become a working actor - it's REQUIRED.
Whether you want to learn it on your own... or get help... is up to you.

Let me share what Gina Cordon has to say about HWC:
"I just wanted to personally share my fantastic experience with the HWC course. I have had many friends contemplate on purchasing it. I'm speaking to the actors that are thinking about getting the HWC course. Here's my experience....
I signed up for HWC in Oct. 2018. I have had access to the course for a little over a year. What I'm about to share is NOT meant to be boastful by any means. I humbly acknowledge as a new actor, I have a LOT of work to do. Thanks to the course, I know exactly what I need to work on.
I've pursued acting for a total of 3.5 years now. In the first 2 years (before HWC) I was constantly being misguided on how to get started as an actor. For example, I was told it was appropriate to list background work on a resume as long as you typed the word "featured" on it. Frustrated, I kept trying to figure everything out on my own (see my before and after resume). My first headshot was a modeling headshot (see photo). I actually made the horrible mistake of adding it to AA and never got a single audition. Now I know why....Some might say my new materials are not 100% perfect, but I've received more opportunities than before. I took a chance and purchased the HWC and it's changed everything for me. It was a dream roadmap. A compass that I desperately needed as a new actor to navigate in this crazy industry.
Since purchasing the HWC in Oct. 2018 and changing my materials from the course recommendations, I have booked the following:
      - 1 commercial with a great speaking role
      - 2 short films
      - 2 industrials
      - 3 print shoots
      - 1 guest star role on TV network
      - 1 lead role in a feature film
In addition to the bookings: I got new headshots, recorded a video game VO demo with an award-winning VO producer, created a website, business cards, postcards, one sheets, and thank you cards according to the HWC recommendations. I've attended the ABC's of Show Business with Wendy, Amy Lyndon's class, and a workshop with Tyler Perry's CD Rhavynn Drummer all within a year! I've had more audition opportunities with some dream CDs in this one year alone than I did in my first two years COMBINED. My next focus for 2020 is training more than ever, getting into classes, and recording clips for my type.
My year is nothing compared to some of my peers. All of my friends that purchased the HWC are doing exceptionally well!!!! Their year was so much better than mine. I haven't heard a single complaint about the HWC. Not ONE person has stated any regret in getting the course. They are constantly training, going on auditions, and getting booked! It's just fascinating to watch their growth. They have the right marketing materials and classes. They're making super smart industry connections. I've noticed many HWC students don't ask many questions in TMFA. Most likely they already know the answers to many of the questions being asked in the group. Most of them are way ahead of the game. I'm just lucky to watch their growth and learn from them.
It's up to you to really put the work in. It's worth every penny if you decide to make the smart decision in getting the HWC. I hope this helps someone that is on the fence of purchasing the course. It sure helped me and many others. Thanks for reading!" ♥️-Gina Cordon, Actress

Getting back to the reason adults arent as spontaneous as kids... I think its because of the years we spend in school using and value nothing more than our brains. Think about it. If you spend full days for years being trained to use just your head you will lose touch with the body, where you feel the emotions. We are trained to get in a habit of analyzing everything and thinking and not actually feeling. We get classes that teaches us calculus but not classes that teaches us to deal with our emotions, with ourselves. Spend years thinking non stop and you get schizoid. Fortunately, you can train yourself out of over thinking.

I'm a graduate student in mechanical engineering and umm... wow. I'm sorry you have such a poor mentality. The brain is a tool to be trained as much as the body. Without one or the other you are limited. I love calculus and all the math beyond that but just because my job is to utilize it that doesn't make me an overthinker, or, as you so lovingly put it "schizoid." Cheers, dude.

I used to have the same issue. I had severe anxiety and stage fight all of my life. But recently I was able to speak loudly and clearly to strangers haha only because it's something you have to feel. You can't over think it. You can't keep thinking of how you think others will respond because that could mess things up. I feel that acting is for you. You just have to push hard for it. Get used to talking to strangers. That helps. And remember that no matter what happens you're still human, and the people that you are worrying about make mistakes also so you're not alone. I believe in you

Hey I totally relate to you! I would suggest first to work on you, and your confidence by practicing yoga and meditation, this has really helped my confidence by moving my body and connecting with my breathe. Also work on your inner-child and your child-like innocence, that will help you express yourself more freely in front of others. As for finding auditions, if you can save up and subscribe to backstage or any other legit casting websites, they always have discounts for your first year (backstage), and you can submit your auditions from your home!
Hope this helped, good luck on your journey!

I'm 14 and a girl and since I was 7 years old I always fascinated with actors and actresses and wanted to entertain people and just love the feeling of people looking up to you . I would make short films that I would direct and we would never use a script just do what we think was right in the situation. No we won't the best but, were seven and enjoyed it. I told people I wanted to be an actor but, they ethier laughed or told me to get a real job. 7 years later still want to be actor. I have an actor heart but, find myself overthinking things. I currently taking drama class but, I'm afraid to show people my full potential and overall find myself frozen with fear when I have to act alone in front of people looking right at them. I would ethier tremble with fear, studder or even cry. I want to be an actress but, find myself to affraid to actually do it. I asked my parents for acting classes but, they always shit me down and said those worent important. I don't want to be an actor for fam or money I want to bring a character to life and entertain people. I don't know I would ever make it as an actress but, I hope and practice everyday by myself hoping one day I get my shot and take it

I love that you want to be an actor! Make sure you discuss everything with your parents. There is a FREE app Called Scene Bot which you can practice your acting with pre-recorded scenes from real actors on Disney and Nickelodeon. See if your parents will let you do that. Also, there is a playlist for parent here on my channel and you can watch it together! Don't give anyone your home or school information, ever! Have fun. You can be whatever you dream of.

Me as a 13 teenage girl who wants to become and succeed in the acting industry that didn’t took any clases yet, I know that when you want or is acting you don’t have to fake, not because the name itself describes as acting or faking, you should feel it, think like the character, and how he/she would feel in that moment, and I have heard this from many actors that if you are persuading acting because you want to be famous is not the right career, but if you are doing it because you really like it, and enjoy doing it then go ahead, and don’t let anybody try to stop you and I think that is a great advice for someone who is starting like me.

This has probably been the most impactful CZcams video I have ever seen in my life. As though you were talking to me personally. I am looking forward to getting acting lessons. All my life I've been told that I'm highly emotional and in touch with my emotions, but it was always said in a bullying or demeaning way, so I always saw it as a bad thing. Because of this reoccurring thing I have trained my self hard and I am now capable of turning off or changing my emotions and become what I need to be to get through different types of situations or to get what I need or what I want. But I'm also able to turn my emotions back on, I even need to in order to release. So I actually plan my emotions as crazy as that may sound. I just schedule in my crying sessions when I feel that it's too much and it has been a while. This is not something I developed because I wanted to become an actor. This is something I developed to survive. I have been interested in the human condition all my life and my favourite art form is film. So maybe this is something for me. I don't know if what I'm feeling is right or not, but I'm looking forward to not being judged for my emotions whilst I take the acting lessons, and just being judged on skills and performance (which I don't mind), because that human connection and those human emotions are the whole point of acting as I understand it. Actors, storytellers, moviemakers and everyone that contributes to moviemaking and television series have helped me so much in my life, beyond words. I would love to be a part of that art and goodness and achieve the same results, help someone else in their life through a story, a character, a film or tv series. I know this is kinda long and bold perhaps. But putting it out here and even admitting to myself that this is something I would like to do and be, that is my first step and it's a big and scary one. But I want to at least give myself the chance to try and become what I want to be. Thank you so much for this video. It really has touched me on a deeper level than I can express in these comments and it activated something in me that I can't explain.

This is very helpful! I have a deep meaning about acting but listening to you really made me have much deeper perspective to acting. *I need help.* I'm 14 and I live in the Philippines, this might sound bad but mostly in the show business here looks at the physical appearance first, even if the role is for someone poor and dirty, they would pick the most beautiful and pristine girl. Plus, there's not much roles offered here, they play the same actors over and over again since our industry is much smaller than Hollywood and Bollywood. How can I be an actress as a 14 year old Filipina who have a family with financial problems? I'm really desperate to become an actress, I've been searching to acting casting calls and online applications but they're all overseas and we can't afford tickets and workshops and acting lessons are really expensive. Gosh, I'll wish for the best and push my passion and dreams to come true.
*By the way,* the video is really good! You're raw and very real but a very good teacher! Thank you so much! :) You made me more determined and I can say that it's the same for the others. I really love this, thank you!

I’ve been considering going for acting for most of my life, but performance anxiety always seems to get to me because I always had all my performances dissected by my parents and became terrified of messing up in front of others. But I’ve always felt emotions are easy for me to tap into, and I was kind of playing along with your examples to see how I would make those decisions when taking apart a script, and it really reassured that this kind of thing feels right for me. I really really want to be an actor. It's my dream. I am only 12, and I have grown up wanting to be a singer because I really love my voice, but it never really was something I knew for sure. One night I was just sitting in bed and I thought to myself. "I want to be an actor" At school we would put on these plays every year and they were always so fun, but then we moved. I told my parents I want to be an actor and my dad looked right at me and said "You shouldn't spend your life chasing something that probably won't even happen" and it just broke my heart. My family also doesn't have enough money to get me an agent or anything so I can't really get into big movies, and that's fine with me I would like to be in any movie big or small. I've been searching up acting lessons on you tube and have been practicing acting out scenes from movies. Fortunately, my older sister gets her license soon so I have time to practice more. My sister said if she does she will drive me to auditions and stuff like that so I can do it. She is the only support I have.
oh here's something random, Tom Holland is my idol :)

That's what I told my daughter. Although she didn't have a speaking roll. She was in a music video. Anywho she was pissed at the artist and at the same time she felt shy. I told her to become the person she would like to see on the screen. People who viewed the video actually thought she knew the artist and had no idea that she was pissed at the time. She didn't know him and she became the person she wanted to see on the screen.
    Her very first acting experience.

I was part of a small theater group. Just a small 4 man theater. It was 5 years of hard work, sweat, blood, and tears. I had to quit a few months ago and I miss it terribly, but I don't think I could go back to it. I'd gotten sick with a string of colds to the point I completely lost my voice and missed a couple of classes. They called me in to help them with a play they were putting together, I loved the project, but day after day they would go off on their own and totally throw me aside. I didn't have a part in the play, I was there to help them with it. I learned all their lines and every aspect of their characters, even filled in for them when one or more were absent. One day we had to come up with a scene bc this was a character development exercise for them. A crucial character development exercise in a play I had no lines or any type of role in. We had 10 minutes. They went into the music room next door and played drums for the entire 10 minutes. When the Prof/director came back in she asked if we were ready I said "No but we're doing it anyway." I just told them the sky was dark and though I wanted to let then crash and burn, I kept saving their butts and carrying their performances throughout the whole improv bc that's what an actor does. We don't just focus on doing our part well, we support the others on scene with us and bring every emotion relevant to the scene and characters forward and leave our personal beef out of it. Our Prof was impressed with their work, I got zero credit but stayed until the end of class and then sent an email saying that I couldn't continue with the group because of personal problems. It's not easy and you'll meet all sorts of people, from the sweetest and most helpful, the perfectionist who means well but is a pain, and the self absorbed buttonholes. Being helpful and devoting yourself to your craft and working as a single unit for the project is as important as being talented, well learned and skilled. You need the knowledge and the companionship, the ability to value your fellow actors, help them, and work with them, to be a good actor. You can be as talented as you want but if you don't connect with them you're always going to look bad or like a bad actor.
