“This is what we do Bulo! You ain’t no motha fu*kin ice skater… you ain’t no tennis player… we lift weight God damn it!”
CT.... You will probably never read this. But I GUARANTEE YOU, I will meet you one day SOON. I remember you saying on another video that your dad was a preacher. I think you're the same. Your gym is your church and you are the pastor. Preach on CT. SPREAD THE GOSPEL OF THE IRON!!!!
Good on you Silent Mike for restarting the conversation about CT's cousin after you finished strapping Mark in.
Shows you were interested in what he was saying, and so was I
C.T. You may never see this but I appreciate what you have been through. I am 60 yrs old and have been lifting weights since 1966. I was never a powerlifter because I didn't give a rats arse about anything but bench press and TKD! At 30 in 1986 I was benching 550 raw and working towards what was eventually my 4th degree black belt in TKD. I have survived motorcycle wrecks resulting in triceps torn in half. Broken forearm in half torn both rotators cuffs in half and broke my left knee cap. As soon as possible I was back in the gym, way before my Dr released me. In 2005 I had a mild heart attack resulting in 4 stents to open my right artery. Five years later I had another and this time 5 stents were put in my left descending artery ( widow maker). I am recovering from a serious shoulder injury and just two months ago could not bench the bar. Now I'm up to 235. You are my inspiration, thank you!!
legeng hope u still killing it out there

He looks amazing for any age
@@wm0104 true
And multiple open heart surgeries.
This is a great video. A lot of real content. Chris Bell knows how to shoot awesome content. Mark is funny, CT looking yoked and Mike is silent as a fart.
He said fart ahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahaha
OmarIsuf Mike is mesmerized lol.
FD PowerLifter lol hes mirin
FD PowerLifter How long have you been deadlifting ?
OmarIsuf "sometimes when you fart, it sounds like your butt is saying something" - Mark Bell
Back in 2009 I had a tumour on my pancreas. I had an 8 hour operation. Off work for 6 months, lost nearly two stone. I hated looking at the stick man I'd become from a liquid only diet. Mentally I lost it sometimes, the road to recovery was long and hard. Even carrying shopping I would have to lay down completely exhausted. Gradually the strength comes back, you think it won't but it does. When you've lost weight and definition the frustration gets you mad but also hungry to get back in the gym. One year later Weight back on and working out again. Lifting iron gives you something no other sport can. When your at your lowest physically and mentally it's a slow tough road, but with self belief and strong mind, it can be done. Respect to you CT
Respect. I've also learned not to sweat the small stuff and appreciate what you have. We all tend to lose sight of what is important. Family friends loved ones. I feel sorry for myself a lot. And I need to quit. I'm not special. And fuck excuses. Fuck pitty. CT taught me that.
I have yuuuuu
Ffs I have an exam tomorrow and now I have to watch this. Lol
I have a test today and I'm watching it:D
Muhammad Abdulla hahah same here!
Muhammad Abdulla in all seriousness, this video was still up after your exam right? exams don't come around all that too often, get that stuff done by being prepared and prioritizing it first, this video going aint anywhere anytime soon.
EveryoneNeeds Pie cause revision is boring. I'm done with them now anyway
i have exams but i dont feel like studying ^_^
"He was doing movie kicks... in a real fuckin fight." "Thank You Billy Blanks."
THIS IS PRICELESS.
I never really liked CT, but this "version" of him appeals a lot more to me. Very nice video
I wanted to show the real side of CT
supertraining06 You sure accomplished that - I have a lot more respect for CT now
A lot of his earliest stuff on CZcams was pretty vulgar lol but that's what got him the attention
Cameron Hawes No "but" was needed, because there's nothing wrong with it.
ImJarlen you must be a sensitive ass nigga.
CT is the man of Steel!!! you will always be in my prayers brother get well soon...
Silent Mike's perplexed/shocked/in depth listening face is hilarious hahahahhahaha
Man, that was a great interview. CT Fletcher is a hell of a guy.
Look at Mark just about giggling as CT talks about Powerlifting and getting psyched. He and CT have walked down the same path of getting up over 300lb bwt and putting it all on the line. Great to see two old Iron War Horses telling war stories. Thanks Mark & CT!!
I am 35 years old and have had 2 open heart surgeries. I was born with a birth defect. I refuse to quit. I will not make excuses. I train every day and still compete. Train hard so when life gets tough you will be strong enough to get through it. Respect.
Silent mikes face when CT is talking about his dad is priceless
When you get past the shock of the profanity you discover that CT has an incredibly positive attitude.
Never knew this about CT. Large amounts of respect for the man and he looks great for 56. Sweet gym too!
CT Your the MAN ! At 69 I'm still pushin Iron at 58 had a 4 way ByPass , it took 12 hours , then went South , took me a few years to get back , blew up to 335lb now I 'm 255 work out 2 times a week about 75 minutes . Take lots a Vits Never did any drugs , eat clean , get my sleep , sex twice a week No more , I thank God for every day. Your a INSPIRATION to Many Many People God Bless You .
CT does say a lot of things about not being average but good for you Mark for hearing him kinda say that was his quote and joking around with it. But we all know whos quote that is. RIP Maddog
The passion in his eye everytime they talk about powerlifting.
Mark you and CT the reason why I work hard at the gym! Thanks for everything sir!
Truly, the most inspiring Workout motivator on CZcams! CT Fletcher...spokesman for the middle aged workout enthusiast.
I have grown a great level of respect for Mr CT Fletcher. salute big brother.
This video is pure gold! CT is a huge inspiration! Thank you Mike for gettin this life story out of CT. Great Great video!
He said s a great guy. I am inspired by his videos. I hope to get 22!Inch arms lol
Fantastic. I love CT Fletcher. He's very funny and then throws in some seriously profound heavy shit right into the middle of it.
I am a BIG FAN of CT Fletcher! NO ONE on planet Earth motivates me like he does.
I love how they come out the gym, analyze another mans success story, pay homage & then leave with the supertraining anthem fading in. Dope episode, mark.
This was really awesome to watch
CT Fletcher is 56 years!?? WTF! Still more a BEAST as a 25 years old pumper!
I'm no where near what these guys are doing but i believe everyone should watch this. AWESOME and thanks for the motivation!
This video changed my opinion on CT Fletcher entirely. I got so much motivation from this video, this content is great.
That awkward moment when ct said he felt like a skeleton walking out of the operation at 190 lbs...
...mike is 190 lbs...
Jesse Cruz there is a big height difference
@@Slawsers 190 isn’t too bad at 5’11. I’m 5’11.5 and I only weigh 136ish. Luckily I’m 16 so my “grown man weight” hasn’t got to me yet.
@@tajuansutton2496 I’m a 21 year old manlet 5 foot 7 205lbs lmao but I’ve been lifting for 6 years and not as lean as Tyson he’s got insane genetics don’t worry when I was your age I was 135lbs
First time a ever watched a whole hour vid on youtube, just couldn't get enough, well done guys
CT never fails to impress. Legend.
This generation (myself included) has become conditioned to fast food, fast fashion, crash diets, 90 transformations and the like that they fail to realize the success of those who they think they emulate took years and decades of work and frequently a considerable amount of difficulty, pain, and suffering. Thank you, everyone involved, for putting the together and sharing it.
The title says it all. I thhought no way im watching this whole thing, but man I couldnt stop watching. Truly an amazing video and story. Nice work
Awesomeness.
chrishaz1122 lol why does this dude get so much hate hahahaha
MRxROID we met him at a gym i work at and he was a very cocky full of himself tool
MRxROID People hate winners. Haters gonna hate. lol
***** whats he ever won at though?
.
this is the best: CT talking about his powerlifting passion
This is possibly the best video I have seen on the internet in the past 20 years.
Man, this just completely reversed my opinion. This guy is a legend! 56! 3 flatlines a set..
Mike's horrified face during CT's bench story haha
This is the first video where I've realized how old CT is. He sounds like someone's grandpa who just never stops talking except he's jacked out of his mind.
I like it.
I don't watch you tube clips more than 4-6 mins but this 50 plus minutes has a lot of knowledge..CT for president.
I Dont usually care for body builders but let me tell you,i just found this guys channel and this is my 2nd video on a saturday morning watching his shit,is comparable to being high listening to bob marley or 2pac,or chilling outside on a warm summer day.
he has substance and a good spirit and i can listen to him and his guest talk for hours. Great convo,i feel like its made me think and be a better person before i walk out the door into the world.
You guys are absolutely killing it with these videos!
Probably the best fitness video I've EVER seen! At 55 I needed this more than you know...........
I can’t believe this video already 5 years old man time flys
That was fucken epic !!! Guys are inspirational as they come
i just gained a lot of respect for ct from this video, showed a different side of him, awesome video as always, you guys deserve to be on espn or something with these long interview type videos, the quality and content is unlike any other
I love how open CT is with his story! Crazy dad! For sure! Unbelievable how he went from sick and 190 lbs to what he looks like today! JACKED!
I've probably watched each of CT's videos half a dozen times each and he continues to inspire me. I grew so sick of reading books about weightlifting, written by pencil-necked geeks who wouldn't know a barbell if it smacked them in the nuts. He's walked the walk, and I can feel the fire coming from him. At almost 58 years old I need guys like CT Fletcher to keep the fire burning inside of my old ass. This was an outstanding video and I hope to one day just have the opportunity to shake CT's hand.....THANK YOU MR. C.T. FLETCHER!!!
That 1 hour went by quick, class video
Im really really happy that your channel took off like that. I was under your first 150 subscribers and always wished for you to reach more and more people with that awesome content.
mikes face is a constant expression of shock and awe lol
Rare to find a video thats an hour long that you actually enjoy the whole video.
Great video and great interview.
who the fuck would thumbs this down???!!!!!
I have only ever seen CT on Elgintensity, and I had a preconceived notion about him. What I saw here today was really outstanding, such a solid dude.
I'm 45 and believe me bro you are an in spiration & example to lifters of any age. Thank you.
Amazing and really funny video but im just waiting for the next powercast with Eric Spoto
CT for presi fucking dent.
peter yeung still better than trump lol
Many people really hate on ct for the way he trains, but he helps people get big and gain weight which is his job. I've met ct at the la fit expo and he was the nicest guy you'll ever meet, came up and grabbed by arm and shook my hand and made feel real good so love ya ct.
ct fletcher is so humble what a great guy would like to meet him some day but ill probably not get the chance, good to see him still doing what he loves , respect
this guy is so fucking cool!!
Great fuckin video!
CT's intensity is on another level.
This video is awesome. Honestly, anyone who can just talk about their selves without boasting and talking about how great they are, that's amazing. he talks about the experiences he's had and the things he's been through to get where hes at. When you do that, you put yourself in a position where people can relate. That's more important than just telling people how successful you are. Anyone can talk about their success, but not many can just simply talk about their experiences and let the people know where they were and were they came from and where they are now.. hes a real dude who made it from hard work, dedication, and motivation. Nowadays everyone wants someone to motivate them and make them do something. This man did it on his own because he had a passion and shows if you are passionate about something, go for it and never to forget your roots. stay humble. RESPECT TO YOU CT Fletcher! Thanks for sharing your story!!
48:00 amen.
At 37:20 when CT's talking about his dad, Mike just looks mortified as fuck.
He often does that. Quite funny. But I quess it just how he looks when he is paying attention :-)
Man that's so awesome Mark Smelly Bell and CT Fletcher. Super Training Gym meets the Valley of the Beast. My 2 lifting inspirations.
You know whats so fuckin cool about CZcams? Content like this. Its crazy that youtube really is just blowing up now and in the past few years. Usually when something hits, it hits big in the beginning and then plateaus and declines. CZcams is just getting better. Total game changer. Love videos like this!!!
56 ? he dont even look a day older than 40
Black don't crack
Billy Diaz well he did say weight lifting is a fountain of youth :)
Billy Diaz He looks old to me
+brandon ball just proof how old u look on the outside aint how old u r in the inside...if only we had technology that showed full health
+Billy Diaz He dyes his facial hair. Look at photos of him online.
isnt the white guy with black tshirt in some documentary on netflix
i think its call big strongest fastest or something like that
Idiot
Yeah he's a world renown power lifter and you tuber who has made documentaries with his brother Chris
Yeah, him and his two brothers. The Bell brothers. Bigger Faster Stronger.
josh nicholls Hey bud...not every one knows who we are yet...but they soon will!
Very few videos I’ve watched all the way though, this was AWESOME
much respect 4 CT!
He is like a buff version of Morgan Freeman
Lol silent Mike has the most fucked up facial expressions
This is what's real. gotta love CT.
Love when CT talks about dieting at 43:30 -> You don't diet for the taste you diet for the results
ct is 56...shit. I hope I'd be that jacked at that age
I heard 854 bench press. I need hearing aids.
It was in geared division
Sweat Music it is very impressive but it is explains why it is 854.
nešto drugo
Not really, it's just excuses based on insecurities.
Sweat Music You're stupid.
Suk Ur nan no way. thank god we have you here
One of the best video interviews....EVER!
CT always does awesome interviews. I can watch them over and over.
he does not look 56
It's that fountain of youth man
+GOZZYGOZBORN black dont crack
It'd probably be too dangerous to make a CT Fletcher "Fuck" drinking game
I have a new found respect for CT. This shit was surreal. Love the genuine discussion about his parents and life in general. CT you keep fucking rocking brother...
The quality and content in these videos are second to none as usual but the real thing that separates this video from most is the level of respect shown towards each other. The lifting community needs more of that. Keep up the great videos guys, really inspiring !
Whats the intro music from guys?
Tomek84 Pietowski Pond5.com...Chris Bell here...they have some insane stock footage, music, etc that you can pay for and use for whatever you want once you license it. I've used this site on all of my films too.
supertraining06 What's the song called?
supertraining06 Are you guys gonna put out anymore shirts with Mikes saying "id rather be dead than average"?
michael bivins Fuck off.
supertraining06 Could you pls tell what the song in the intro is called ?
i like when mark asks about foam rolling and ct completely misses the point
Lol mark hates foam rollers
daniel demello why? foam rolling is love. foam rolling is life
i hate this game foam rolling is bullshit. I do dynamic warming up
brandon ball same , ill do air squats with pauses , and with a band shit like that fuck foam rollers let the crossfitters use that crap haha
Possibly the most inspiring video on CZcams. Thanks.
People that have done their time and proved themselves like CT Fletcher and Mark Bell is very inspiring. Ive been workingout since i was 13 because I was always the chubby/fat kid growing up. I didnt have highspeed internet Or training partners let alone afford to go to the gym back then. Now that im 27 im definitely more fit and relatively strong but I wish I had access to you tube much sooner because i could have learned so much more and I am learning more everyday now because of people like Mark Bell and CT Fletcher and many others. Thank you guys for inspiring us the way you do. I have realistic views, I'll never be as jacked and tan but I have much love for the sport of weightlifting and breaking through my limits each and every day.
6:46 COMPLETELY cuts CT off lmao
The only thing that makes me dislike CT is the fact he lies about hes drug use... He claims to be drug free yet he benches almost the same as Spoto.
Juan Andres Sponsors dont like drug talk. Hes sponsored by Isatori and used to be with MusclePharm.
Juan Andres He has sponsors. People pay him money who would most likely influence his decision. So let's say he works 30 years to make a career in lifting and finally got a big spot at isatori with a big paycheck and a way to make his name a legend and all he has to do is avoid telling people he's on drugs. The only people who can be open about it and get away with it own their own companies (mark bell or marc lobiner) and don't have to worry about being fired and losing everything they worked for. And it's not even the athletes fault these days, supplement companies are bullies about this stuff. Bostin Loyd came out with his stack and became untouchable and lost all chances at being sponsored.
Juan Andres yea and who really cares we all know anyway isn't that good enough some people just don't like to talk about you should know that if your in the game at all
Theres people that truly belive he is natural and I can see them being affected in one way or another.
And no I dont care he uses steroids but I do care about the fact he lies about it, he should just avoid the subject altogether.
Let the stupid be stupid, they'll grow up, hell, I one day thought Ronnie was natty.
COULD LISTEN TO THESE GUYS ALL DAY
These two really have changed my life, as well as Silent Mike and Jim too. The whole video was great and the end "this isn't an exercise, it's a movement". Put that on a shirt! Id buy it! Great video once again.
So much respect for CT Fletcher.
LOVE THIS JOINT. YEAH FUCK'EM ROLLIN
Ct Fletcher brother you are a blessing and I pray that the creator continues to be a blessing.
Thank you for the motivation I heard listening to your story and momas spirit🛐 I'll have to borrow that courage in all that I'm faced with in this life, God bless you
AMEN.
CT you're one of the best personalities on CZcams for motivation. Thanks. Whoever hates is just jealous or trolling.
