Superb performance by a truly talented young organist. Apart from watching his virtuosity in an unflagging performance, how does M. Monnot manage to play this incredibly difficult toccata from memory and often with his eyes closed!! He looked amazingly relaxed throughout while giving such an exciting rendition!! Bravo!!
IMHO, a very good, brilliant interpretation of this difficult piece. Not every organist is able to hold all these things together at a fast (but not too fast...) pace, emerging triumphant in the final chord...

Wow. Very very good. I like the sound of this Wenner organ and I like the pedal glissandos. Still I think Ben van Oosten's performance is slightly better: it's more clear, transparent, which is very important for music as harmonically complex as this. But that's only my opinion. Hopefully you will post more videos!!

A goodf interpretation on a good organ! This piece is a ballbuster. For the performer it means percolating eyeballs and sprained fingers!

You can see some sort of clock or maybe a temperature gauge in the background. Can someone tell me what it is exactly?
That was an indicator for pressure level in the bellows... In the days when air was hand-pumped!
