Dual boomsticks are so underrated. Great with the Commando for sewing absolute explosion chaos. Harder to make into elite bossing weapons imo, but the mob clearing is SO fun.

So you unknowingly put together the absolute best combination of items for the Typhoon. The reason you had unlimited energy is because every additional projectile from Buckshot has a chance of proccing Credit Card. With CD to top it off it's just *chef's kiss*. Personally I would've focused more on Bubble perks to keep Stim Bubble up longer, and skipped Meteo Weapon to roll for Tempo Shot. This way you could have also grabbed Non-Magic Ring in the Fusion Core and your damage would have skyrocketed. Still a fun run to watch and I'm glad you are showcasing how awesome this game can be! Keep it up! :)
Edit: Also a shame you passed up Stone Block earlier, that's such a huge dps boost for heavy weapons! Monocle was definitely the correct choice at the start of Haven. It's easy to maintain that distance during the final boss fights.
Been playing Roboquest since early beta and it has been a blast! They changed they game so much as well it's insane. I also enjoy Deadlink quite a lot, Gunfire Reborn a bit less, but I'd say Roboquest is at the top of the Roguelite FPS at the moment. I enjoy viewing your runs, always fun to watch :)
Nightmare Reaper is awesome as well! :)
Nightmare Reaper is the most under rated game in history. If it was coop I'd put it over Roboquest.

@Gigawood yeah I've seen multiple posts where he talked about adding it post release but it's been a while now.
One of my fav. streamers and CZcamsrs showcased this game a few days ago, and ohh my I´m beyond HOOKED!. I agree that it´s truely under exposed and a secret gem. I´m not really into Rogue-like/lite genre games, but this just hits multiple different spots with me, while being an RL genre game.
Ok, so the Guardian has a big ol hammer and a nifty shield. But can he see why kids love the taste of Cinnamon Toast Crunch?
Nice run! Guardian might be my favourite class. I'm not the best, so the healing from Safe Space is great.
Since i played the roboquest demo ive been obsessed with your videos its great watching new and different builds
I had a super fun run the other day on Guardian with Tiny punch and a minigun. That 0.2 CD while Bastion is active is crazy for the extra dps you can put out with a high ROF weapon.
Guardian is my favorite class because of meteo weapon and you can use his bubble like a dark souls dodge, makes boss fights really easy
Same, that 2s cd instant reload is just something, and his bubble is really helpful with my poor movement

my first ever completion in this game was a Guardian with a purple Sulfator that had Volatile, and a Tommy Gun. Guardian is a very fun class
Could u make a video on what skills are good for recon and overall like a tutorial for recon because i dont really understand how to play him? 😊

Just a quick sidenote, but the Typhoon Minigun has Seeker as an innate perk. So its always tracking
Hey Had, been looking forward to this one and it didn't disappoint! Keep up the good work my man, and I highly recommend the 4 barrel shotgun (Sulfator Shotgun) for pure dmg output (could be good on demo especially) and the Junk Arquebus on a ranger is really good too as it is fusion of high fire rate with really good crit dmg. If you decide to do a run with either of these I would love to see the upload, even if it doesn't make it to iris. Chur chur from NZ

Watching you annihilate the bosses on the hardest difficulty while it takes me forever on standard (even with a brobot) makes me wonder what kind of black magic you use to get that much power. 😂
You mentioned your idea for another class. I think it would be cool if they took a page from Risk of Rain 2 and added a class that kinda relied on % based weapon proc skills to do damage. Im not sure what type of skills they would be, but im picturing getting enough class perks throughout a run to see a barrage of homing rockets or something flying all over the place just from landing weapon shots on enemies.
I don't get it, why would Poppy hurt Windmill Rifle in your case? You had a lot of auto-crit stacked, and with its ridiculous fire rate it would proc crits a lot. Is there something I'm missing?
Typhoon minigun is broken on commando, you just hold down mouse 1 and win

I thought bottle cap only worked on magazine weapons. Does it actually also proc on the first percent for energy weapons? There's a lot I'm still trying to learn about this game so that would be cool if it does work like that.
This is the game I never knew I was waiting for. My all time favorite games are BL2 and Diablo 2. All of the fun without stash managment and grinding levels.

Day 2 of asking for a gadgetless Guardian IV run
A challenge run that could be pretty neat is having to swap weapon whenever one drops, be interested in seeing how such a thing would affect how the run goes.
Edit: could be a fun excuse to use weapons you don't typically take and such like you said :)
I think Fusion Core and Duke Nuker are easily the hardest level and boss in the game (yes, even harder than IRIS). Fusion core is essentially platform hell, it's even harder if you don't have jetpack/grappling hook. It's also made harder by the fact that you fight in tight spaces with lots of big projectiles and lasers and the acid makes it harder to dodge.
Duke Nuker perfectly fits such a level, he is a bullet hell boss with unpredictable attack patterns that he switches constantly around and if he does not hit you with his projectiles, he will chase you down and slap you. And every attack that hits you takes a good chunk of health, so it takes only a few good hits and you are done. IRIS has lots of HP and two phases but her attacks are easier to predict and dodge in my opinion.
After I got the crystal, I never tried Fusion Core again because of this, but Duke Nuker has the coolest boss music, which is a shame.
My least favorite boss is the tag team boss where you fight 4 elite enemies at once and they keep respawning(forgot it's name)

Beetle Royale is also one of the hardest ones for me, having to constantly dodge him while he breaks your platform that only has 3 floors
Bruh i bought this game day one instead of EA and i been loving the heck out of it for burst of runs soo even though i am very much at the beginning, i can say for sure that roguelikes are on the rise.

try the spear ranger sometimes, doing the whole game w/ just spears is really fun.if you get all the damage perks its also really god for bosses.

The reason this game is not known is because the developers are lazy.
The fun of roguelikes lies in the differentiation that comes from choice, and in this game, little changes no matter what you choose. None of the classes, weapons, or characteristics feel different from the selection.
You had a bubble build put together and dropped the ball twice. Kills in bastion increasing time and heal orbs giving % too means you get to keep you bubble damage and fire rate, and the infinite ammo within top qual and bottle cap. Instead of either of these upgrades, you took 15% fire rate and meteo weapon. Gave up god mode for some shiny crap.
I forgot that you took credit card as well....
And then you mentioned the ol microwaved brain cell. Overall suboptimal

I beat it yesterday night for the first time on standard with elementalist with a very lucky legendary shredder I got from the chest in the first route splitting room, the one with that old robot. I love that thing, maybe you can try going for an awesome shredder build too!
