Yo I enjoy the content, started playing this 2 months ago with a friend in another state and it's been a blast to unlock everything and power up. When my friend and I finally beat Guardian IV we a made up a difficulty we called "Star Fox Run" where we only take the starting items ie; Shovel, Buddy bot, Fox Gun I chose the ranger because crit damage and invisibility (I swear it has i-frames on start up but idk) By Haven City I would have 5 javelins and remap my jav. throw to my left click (primary fire) and basically full send javelin damage. It works really well but i can't seem to survive it. I need to learn how to get git because you make it look trivial.

I JUST did a Mini cricket run, with rubix cube, with the instant reload every 3 seconds. SUPER FUN

Did a run the other day with lynx rifle and ranger. Insane damage there as well the Goliaths died in 2 shots. No elements either just explosions every couple shots

I unironically pick the kaboom grenade pretty often on commando runs. It has I'm pretty sure the highest base area of any explosive weapon, so it works phenomenally with things like black powder, baby boom, etc. My personal favorite is to roll buckshot and megaboom onto it, the goal is to create as big of an explosion as you can

I was about to say something about them needing to add a katana melee weapon now but then I remembered that there is an actual assassin in the game who has a “katana”, game calls it a cutlas but its a katana, or a straight edge katana, they have a name i just forget

Why no headbonking?

For anyone wondering, the reason that glitch happens is he throws it and then uses blink. For whatever reason, the trueshot glimmer hates when you blink during the throw animation.

I don't really care about the moon phase buffs tbh, my biggest issue with the hexes right now is that there are only 2 actually good ones (to me it's healing & slowing everything down; going impervious is also cool but it's bugged for now), and the rest is varying degrees of worthless/inconvenient to use. so ~50% of the time i meet Selene, it just feels like a waste of a boon room and a slot in the god pool if she doesn't offer one of those 2 i want (and i would pick them regardless of the moon phase).

First off: great editing, I really love how you showed off the Arcana/Aspect/Oath at the beginning. The interspersing of post-run thoughts along with your live commentary was really well done too. I agree that a lot of the Hexes feel pointless until sufficiently upgraded, which means there's pressure to take the Full Moon Hex regardless of your build. That said, some Hexes seem so much better than others that I would be willing to take them even if the phase isn't ideal. Moon Water in particular is bonkers: if you get it and manage to pick up Conservation early (Fountains give you +3 uses without resetting your use count), it becomes ridiculous. I've gone into the Chronos fight with 15 uses of Moon Water saved up! And that's on top of it not having a huge charge-up time for Chronos to pummel you during. Moon Water, Night Bloom, Lunar Ray (with the talent that lets you drop it in place) and Dark Side are the Hexes I tend to consider. Phase Shift, Total Eclipse, Twilight Curse and Wolf Howl all feel worseless against Chronos, and I'll usually pass on them. That said, I'm still on Fear 8, so you have more experience than me!

Explosive Intent is busted with Apollo's Solar Ring or Zeus's omega cast boons. Every hit from both procs the explosion as well.

yeah, i feel the moon state thing, but sometimes i take the half moon one because i find it to be better. that said, some are just always good with full moon potential, and others you can get by without access to the end of the talent tree. Moon Water doesn't scale as well for example even with full moon potential unless you find yourself using the healing a lot: the actual value ends up coming from the free money you get alongside it with upgrades. Lunar Ray is another one that doesn't seem to scale as well and in fact can be hindered by a bad upgrade tree. then again i play casually, so take everything i say with a grain of salt.
