      @@abodieqwerty4678if something is "designed for women" it's menstrual cups, pads, tampons, clothes etc. Moves like these are probably made by women not designed for women. Which doesn't mean that a man cab't do them. HipHop dance was made by men, but many women dance Hiphop including me. You can say it's harder for me to learn hiphop moves than a man, but tbh can you actually be sure and prove it? Everyone has their own style of movement, so I don't look like everyone else doing the same moves, but is it harder and is it "specifically designed for men"? In my opinion, no, dance is for everyone, although not everyone can move the same way as one another.

    You can really tell that center of mass difference between the men and women
    Men are really top heavy, so you really have to flick your legs hard to go around.
    Imagine a wheel, but the axle is way off-center.
    It's great for high jumps, pole vaulting etc, not great for flips and cart wheels
    In comparison, women look like they're in slow motion. The center of gravity is around the butt and much closer to the center of their height.
    To return to the wheel analogy, it's like the axle is properly centered, so they just glide around it smoothly.

    I was so confused about why her butt was higher than his in the handstand position when she is probably shorter, but then I realized she did her handstand much closer to the beam. Which is probably scary, because you don't want to crack your lower back against the beam. Her flips are so effortless and elegant. I'm sure it takes a massive amount of strength and power, but they train to make it look like they just defy gravity. Beautiful.

      @99Em07 her hands are under the beam when she does the handstand, and she is completely perpendicular to it in the handstand. His had are farther away and farther apart and his back is at an angle when his butt hits the beam. Pay attention to the black line on the floor at the start of the beam. Her hands are in front of the black line, his are behind. That would make a huge difference.

    • @99Em07
      @99Em07 Před rokem +7

      @@Trogdor1365 her ass is above the beam. If he moved that extra 5 cm closer it would be level with the beam. He couldnt even get his body weight distributed enough to pull over. She also has a curved back because of her hips which aligns her body the same as his. If he started where she did he wouldve hit his back first because he doesnt have a natural arc in his back. Males have straight hips while females have angles hips that way the womb can grow big enough to support a child. In reality, the curvature of their backs are aligned with this stunt even though her hands are closer. The back and end point are the main resources to entail the information on positioning and height difference. Just measure the distance between where they start and the distance above the beam they are from the same point on the screen.

      Major difference just biologically speaking.. even if they trained its going to be harder and less elegant for men to do the same routines due to their center of gravity they'd also sacrifice muscle growth for that flexibility which is something that they can't really lose as most of their routines are specifically upper body based so there's a trade off just from the muscle mass limits how flexible they can be plus their center of gravity being higher.

      Also, most people don't understand the difference between trained and untrained. Those men were able to improve quickly at those routines because everyone in the video is a gymnast. If you take any random woman off the street, they would perform at they guy's level or worse. That is because a trained person is very different from an untrained person. If those men and women were given the same routines to practice their entire gymnast careers, they would perform at the same level.
