Most people I met and even when they knew the bible so well, not many could reveal what God wanted to say to someone like me who is broken hearted. No one really understands the feeling of pain and hopelessness when you lost someone that is so important and this pastor is God's sent for me who has been searching for comfort without getting away from the biblical truth. Thank you Jesus for showing me your love and faithfulness through this pastor 🙏❤

I lost my only son October 2021. The pain of separation is soooo heavy!! Sometimes it is hard for me to rise in the morning. He was special needs and he loved God and his church family. He would lift his hands in praise. One of the fondest memories of my son and worship is when we were coming through the doors of our church and he stepped his left leg in the door into the foyer and raise his left hand in holy reverence. He stepped his right leg into the door and raised his right hand in reverence to Jesus. He did not know how to talk, read, was nonverbal, had severe cognitive difficulties but yet understood the importance of praise and worship to his God. I miss him so much!!! He was such an awesome person. 💔💔💔💔💔 I know God gathered him with great mercies but sometimes I feel so lost. I miss him more than I ever imagined I would. 😞😞😞

Thank you Pastor Colin Smith. I am a Christian but recently lost three family members in 10 months of each other. I have been so deep in sorrow at our huge family loss. However Pastor Colin's message on 'Will we know each other in heaven' filled me with so much joy that I cried. This message comforted me and reminded me of God's promises. It melted away my grief. If you are going through a bereavement I highly recommend that you listen to this message and his other messages on heaven. Pastor Colin has an amazing spiritual eye that he backs with the evidence of scripture. He is a mighty anointed man. You will not be the same after you have listened to his sermons. Thank you Pastor Colin for comforting my broken heart. May God bless you over and over in your ministry.

She lost the use of the left side of her body, developed advance Parkinson, arthritis, deaf, lost her sight, speech impediment, stroke and many other complications. Jesus told Christians to pray for God's Kingdom to come and for His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. God's Kingdom government is a heavenly government ruled by Jesus Christ as King. Soon Jesus as King of kings will bring beautiful changes to the earth. There will be no more death, pain or sorrow on earth, Revelation 21:4,5. No more wickedness on earth, Psalms 37:9-11; John 3:16. The righteous hearted meek ones will inherit the earth and live forever on it, Psalms 37:29; Matthew 5:5; Proverbs 2:21,22. The earth will be cultivated into a Paradise like God intended in the beginning, Genesis 1:28; Isaiah 55:11. Jesus will do on a grand scale what he did when he walked the earth including raising those who are asleep in death, John 5:28,29. There will only be one government over the earth, God's Kingdom government, Daniel 2:44. In order to receive everlasting life and the blessings that God has promised, we must worship the Father with spirit and truth, John 4:22-24; John 17:3; Isaiah 42:8. Soon Jesus will make sure that God's Will is done on earth as it is in heaven, Matthew 6:10. Hallelujah! Do you believe God's promises concerning the earth? Isaiah 55:11. Do you have questions about God's Kingdom government or His purpose for the earth?

This scripture is written in many places in the Bible. Psalms 37:9,11,27. Also in Revelation21:1-4 "I saw a new heaven and a new earth. I heard a loud voice from the throne say: 'Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.'"
Now, does that sound like everybody will be going to heaven? I for one have an earthly hope.
Now, please go to your bible and confirm those words that I have typed. Any question, message me.

In Luke 20:36 Jesus states one of the reasons for no more marrying is because the saved resurrected can’t die anymore but will be like the angels in heaven. The contrast to angels is not sexual desire, He contrasted mortality with immortality. Marry meant the male proposing for the woman to be his wife and being given in marriage meant the father giving her to the proposer. It’s customs to be married, not marriage itself. Adam and Eve were married without marrying or being given in marriage. The reason for the Sadducee's question was that the levirate law required a woman to marry the next oldest brother of her husband if he died without children. They thought if the woman hadn’t fulfilled the purpose of that law, she would still need to be married to all the brothers or they’d be sinning. If she did that, she and the men would commit polygamy which is also a sin, so to avoid sin, God wouldn’t resurrect everyone forever. They thought all of God's laws would be needed in a renewed world, not knowing that the reason for recreating is to restore creation to before those laws were needed. Keeping marriage does not contradict Jesus’s answer to the Sadducees because the woman they asked about is only required to marry any of those men with the levirate law. The law ending does not forbid her from being married to a different man. It's a false dilemma. Jesus’s mention of not being able to die would make no sense unless he only meant legal customs to marry because death is not a reason for marriage. It says in Revelation 20:6 that those who are awakened in the first resurrection won’t suffer for eternity. These are the same people in the prophecy in Isaiah 65:17-25. If Jesus said that those worthy to attain the age of the resurrection won’t marry or be given in marriage and are also said to continue being married and reproducing, that’s proof that Jesus only meant legal marriage customs will be gone. Would any of the people who heard Jesus answer been amazed at it if he meant sexuality would be eliminated? I’m pretty sure Jews had as much sexual desire as most other people, so would have despaired if that was the context.
At the beginning of creation, God said for us to be fruitful and multiply with no indication it was to ever stop. There would need to be a bigger earth to fit all physical beings that have ever lived by the time of the resurrection. God expands the entire universe. doing the same to any planet shouldn't conflict with his plans. Marriage was the only thing God said is not good to be without before creating it. After Eve was made and brought to Adam, it says for this reason shall people be united with a spouse to become one flesh. Jesus repeats this in Matthew 19:4-5 and Mark 10:6-7 and Paul does in Ephesians 5:31. “For this reason” means it’s the only reason. Reproduction and representing God’s relationship are not reasons stated anywhere in scripture. If gender remains, so does marriage. If Jesus’s answer meant no one will be married, then it contradicts us being male and female being the reason for marriage, and God's promise to restore all creation in Acts 3:21 and 24:15, 2 Peter 3:13, Romans 8:20-23 and 32 and other prophecies. After God made marriage, He called everything very good. The beginning conditions of the creation don't need improving because God doesn’t change.
Many Christians have claimed that something unspecified would be needed to make life better forever and would also make sexuality useless, ignoring the fact that marriage was something needed for creation to not be missing anything good. It's contradictory and more akin to Buddhism than Christianity. If having something better is a reason to eliminate sex, it's a reason to eliminate everything God made, and we should all just feel God's presence, getting joy from that and never doing anything else for eternity. If simply having a sinless relationship with God makes marriage useless, then God would have had no reason to create gender and sex, because God had the kind of relationship with Adam and Eve that people will have with Him in the renewed creation. If God eliminated sexuality then the distinguishing shapes of the gender's faces, body shapes for sexual attraction, parts used for sexual pleasure, and reproduction would all be wasted. Gender having other functions is no reason to get rid of any of them. They're all part of what makes us the genders we are and God doesn’t create anything expendable. The human female figure is shaped the way it is to fit babies during birth, and sperm, egg cells, and wombs are used only for reproduction.
If Jesus’s answer to the Sadducees meant no one will be married anymore, no one can be married to Jesus as a replacement. God is described as a husband to people in Hosea 2:7, Isaiah 45:5, Jeremiah 31:32, Ezekiel 16:8, and other Old Testament texts. That didn’t replace marriage either, because they’re analogies just as the wife of the lamb is in Revelation. They are different types of relationships that fulfill different desires. If marriage is a representation of Jesus’s relationship with the church, then people would have to have sinned so Jesus would have to redeem us. God is not going to create something that requires what He hates.
If you are made unable to care about something you're passionate about, it's manipulation of free will. Sin is a selfish way to try satisfying a desire, that makes us less satisfied afterward. Removing sin doesn’t manipulate free will. That's not the same as removing a basic desire for any sensation. They think that since they don’t think of the joy that would be gone from losing that passion for eternity, that wanting to keep something God said wasn't good to be without is the problem. They're so obsessed simply with being eternally satisfied that they don't know it's only hopeful because it's by restoration of all God made, not a replacement for any of it. That would make anything God made for us irrelevant. There's a book all about the joy of sexuality: Song of Songs, and doesn’t imply that marriage is useless without reproduction. There’s no bible book devoted to the joy of any other creation. Heaven isn’t the final destination, it’s the renewed earth. The only thing that needs to be gone is what sin did.

Remarriage is allowed after a spouse dies because we need that sort of relationship to be more fulfilled as God wants us. Because we sinned people are flawed and no matter how much in love we may be with someone, it’s possible for God to give us someone better. It’s sure better than being asexual forever if you don’t want to be.

Hi, this is Kevin with Open the Bible. Good question! And not every sermon can include every possible detail, so I’ll do my best to answer this question.
If someone doesn’t make it to heaven, we won’t “know them in heaven” since they won’t be there. What about our memory of them? Will we be sad? Let’s remember a couple of truths: 1) God is perfectly just and always worthy of our worship. 2) In heaven, God will wipe away every tear from our eyes (Rev. 21:4)-so sorrow will be no more.
Nothing in heaven will disappoint us, and we will be able to worship God for His holiness and justice forever, including His justice for those who reject Him, no matter how much we loved them on earth.
      Hope that helps!

According to the Bible, who alone may enter the kingdom of God, and see Him face to face?
    A. 1) Hebrews 12:14,29; Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which, no man shall see the Lord. For our God is a consuming fire.
    2) Matthew 7:21, Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
    Q. What is the will of the Father, which is the condition of entering the kingdom of heaven?
    A. Psalms 40:8; I delight to do thy will, O my God, yea, thy law is within my heart.
    Q. What other Bible text, that complements the text above, which mentioned the law, as God’s will?
    A. Matthew 19:16,17; And behold, one came and said unto him. Good master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God, but if thou will enter into life, keep the commandments. (Note: If you continue on reading the succeeding texts, the commandments referred to in the text are the Ten Commandments.)
    Q. What does the Bible say to them that do the will of the Father which is His law or Ten Commandments, according to the text above?
    A. Revelation 22:14; Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. KJV
    Q. What does the Bible say to them that do not the will of God?
    A. 1) Matthew 7:22,23; Many will say to me in that day. Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name, and in your name cast out devils, and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them. I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
    2) 1 John 2:4 He that saith, I know Him, and keep not His commandments, is a liar and the truth is not in him.
    3) Proverbs 28:9; He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is abomination.
    Q. According to 1 John 2:4, which say, that he that keep not the commandments of God is a liar and the truth is not in him. Why is this so?
    A. 1) Psalms 119:142; Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.
    2) Psalms 119:152; Thou art near, O Lord, and all thy commandments are truth.
Note: Both the texts above teach that the law is truth, and all the commandments are truth. It follows that if one claim to know God but keepeth not His law or commandments is a liar and though one claim to have the truth, the Bible is the final authority of all truths.
    Q. Still, most believers claim and profess that they love Jesus. To be sure that we do not deceive our own selves, let us ask the Lord whom He acknowledges as the one who truly love Him?
    A. John 14:21; He that hath my commandments and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me, and he that loveth me, shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
Note: Here is the final test to every believer, that keeping the commandments of God is the sign of true love to God. Beside this, will be pure presumption. (Proverbs 14:12)

@@mimz1555 You know what? I really don't give a witt about the "angels" in Genesis 6, and truth be told, neither do you. The whole point about angels is that Jesus said in Matthew 22:30 that we'll be "like them", so everyone wants to "prove" that angels are sexless, "male" in appearance (so that they have the _least_ appeal to men.... men who are normal anyway), and that when we get to heaven we will just have this Kumbaya, everybody-loves-everybody the same, universal "love-of-all-mankind" utopia. Pardon me if the frequency you get on your radio doesn't "tune in" on mine. I prefer to believe the promises of Isaiah 65, where God declares "Behold I create new heavens and a new earth!", and then in verses 20 - 25 he describes it: "No longer will babies die when only a few days old. No longer will a man die before living a full life. No longer will people be old at one hundred! .... In those days, people will live in the houses they build and eat the fruit of their own vineyards. It will not be like the past, when invaders inhabited the houses and confiscated the vineyards. For my people will _live as long as trees_ and long enjoy the works of their hands. They will not labor in vain and their children will not be doomed to misfortune. For they are people blessed by the Lord, and their children, too, will be blessed."
No I know you will insist that those verses only apply to some lucky brats who are born at a time when they can survive the Tribulation and be the "un-glorified" saints in the Millennium. But I have a question for you. Where in those verses, or anywhere in the Old Testament, is any mention of "1000 years"? I don't see it anywhere. To me, "new heavens and new earth" means just what it says... the new creation!
If a sexless, marriageless heaven where we're all celibate, castrated eunuchs who just sing Kumbaya forever floats you boat... go for it! It doesn't float mine. And I believe there is evidence, at least in the Old Testament, to support my hope of an eternal love companion, just like God gave to Adam when he said, "It is not good for the man to be alone, I will create for him a helpmate".

As a Christian who have studied the Bible also with Pentecostal seminaries and with other knowledgeable anointed Bishops who break down to edify another scripture. last time I checked there's nothing in the Bible to assure you that you will recognize anyone who is related to you regardless to how many visions people have said they had concerning a dead loved ones. The prophets of God have the privilege of God but we as his children do not have the same Authority as his holy Prophets, I say to you my friends sadness will not inherit the kingdom of God because if you are sad because some of your family members did not make it into heaven then that would go against the scriptures, there is no sadness in heaven former things of Earth that is connected to the fleshly body will be erased from your memory so you will not feel sadness for your relative that did not make it into heaven. I know we desire to believe what we have been told, but Jesus saw Abraham in the prophets on the mount configuration during his knowledge of his sacrificial crucifixion, the natural and spiritual conditions cannot be the same unless one is in the flush in order to witness it so these scriptures is taken out of context to make one's feel that they will recognize their family in heaven because if they recognize a loved one who have made it into heaven then they will surely know about the ones who did not and that memory equals to sadness for them and like I said earlier there is no sadness in heaven the formal things on earth will be passed away along with its memories of it. We will be sisters and brothers and our only relative will be God and there will be no reason to have a family reunion because the Creator will be our only reunion we should look for and remember.

Do they have money in Heaven or is everything provided free? Do the residents eat? and if so there must also be sewage treatment plants in Heaven, who operates these plants and who does the more menial and unpleasant jobs or does everything operate automatically.
Transport, Heaven must be a big place to house all of the Christians who have been sent there through the ages, if I wanted to visit my friends on the other side of Heaven would I walk, ride a donkey, or would there be public transport, who drives the buses? If I drive a car, who provides the fuel and services the car? what type of fuel do they have in Heaven, gas, diesel, electric? all of the residents who died pre 19th century would like to learn how to drive a car instead of riding a horse or camel so when they are involved in a car crash ( which is inevitable ) and are killed or injured are they instantly restored to good health?
When you are involved in an altercation with another resident who settles the argument? do they have Heavenly Police and Angelic courts? Are you allowed to have pets in Heaven? If the answer is yes, then what happens when your pet rottweiller eats your neighbors pet poodle? Do they have cattle and sheep in Heaven to provide food for your pet dogs and cats?
If you say that it will be just like Earth then you cannot expect to live there forever without there being some trouble at any time in the future. Once you have proven yourself to be worthy of Heaven, must you never change your ideas or question your fellow inmates quirks or idiosyncrasies?, in short, if you follow Gods rules and regulations it will be just like living in North Korea and you have to stay there for eternity or risk being thrown into the hot pit and burned by Satan, Do Christians really believe this nonsense?

@@mistyhoover5651 The love of Jesus will wear a little thin when you have to endure an eternity of living in that Dire, Drab, Dreary, Dismal, Disappointing and Depressing place called Heaven, be careful of what you wish for, Heaven could be worse than Hell.
After you have settled into your new mansion in Heaven there are a few things to consider, first there is no sin and no temptation, there can be no sex because sex leads to temptation and sin, Earthly desires will not exist, no sex = no new children, the joys and dramas of children for young couples will be lost, everything will be pure, that means all books, TV, movies, plays etc. will have no crime, no sex, no sin, nothing irreligious at all.
Entertainment cannot exist without these elements, imagine the Daily News, "Nothing happened at all today, everybody was happy, we all prayed, tune in tomorrow for more of the same" Of course there will be bible reading classes but after 100 years of these it would drive a person to drink, DRINK? sorry no alcohol in Heaven because booze leads to sin, fighting etc.
There are no politics in Heaven, politics leads to dissension and unhappiness, Jesus makes all the decisions and you cannot disagree or question any of his decisions, Everybody in Heaven is deliriously happy and they all get along with each other, what seems perfectly right to one person cannot be an affront to another otherwise there would be disagreement, disagreement leads to violence.
Any arguments would be adjudicated by Jesus and the person at fault, unless he/she admitted their error would be banished to Hell. No sport in Heaven, sport is always full of controversy and conflict so no sport allowed, even a friendly non gambling game of poker could lead to problems. All these happy people in Heaven will continue to be happy for eternity, forever, perpetuity without any of the sinful activities that tempted them when they lived in the world.
THINGS THAT WILL NOT EXIST IN HEAVEN - Sin and temptation, sex, new children, books, TV, movies, plays, alcohol, any stimulants, politics, disagreements, sport, pets. Of course there is always gardening, that is harmless but after 500 years or so this activity would become a little wearing, Tending the sheep? sorry no animals in Heaven, people only keep animals for food, warmth and companionship, everything in Heaven is provided by God, food, clothes etc. and if you were permitted to keep companion animals sooner or later these would bring you into conflict with neighbors and this won`t be tolerated in Heaven.
No fights, no wars and everybody is happy sitting down, weaving their baskets and singing hymns, what a wonderful future Christians look forward to and I am really sorry that I`m headed for Hell, WAIT UP ! ! Hell seems a far better option than Heaven, at least there would be some action and humor down there and I don’t believe Satan is such a bad guy. WHAT HAVE YOU GOT YOURSELVES INTO ? ? ?

@@jonathancervantes4554 PETS IN HEAVEN A lot of people wonder about whether they will be able to take their pets with them when they arrive in Paradise, the answer is definitely YES, but there will be some problems.
All of the pets you have owned during your lifetime will be waiting for you so don't be surprised if you are greeted by say, 26 cats, maybe 10 dogs, perhaps a few horses and a donkey, this will be a handful for you and the time taken to tend to all these animals won't leave you with much time for praying and singing hymns, then there is the jealousy factor, fights between the dogs, sexual activity between the male and female cats, this will excite the dogs who will try to tear the cats to shreds.
Then there will be people up there who have brought along unusual pets, such as myself, if Jesus allows you to have a pet kitten then he can hardly object to my pet man eating crocodile named Boris, there's no discrimination in Heaven but you had better keep an eye on Fido and Kitty because Boris might take it into his head to make a meal of them, can you imagine the uproar? Boris has just finished eating Fido and Kitty when Jesus intervenes, next thing you know Jesus is running for his life with Boris chasing him snapping at his butt, and those Angels would be a tasty treat for a hungry crocodile.
The next problem would be cleaning up after your pet Rottweiler has fouled the sidewalk on Gods streets of gold, would Jesus supply you with a shovel and a bucket or would he employ street cleaners? It seems there would be a lot of problems and not the least would be the inmates of Paradise fighting each other over problems with their pets, perhaps Jesus will employ Police Officers to sort it all out.
Also there will be a lot of believers there who died on Earth over the last 6000 years, they would probably have their camels, donkeys and goats with them and if you are driving down the golden streets you might crash into a herd of camels who are not traffic savvy. Oh so many questions but I expect Jesus will sort it out. (If he escapes from Boris) Blessed be.
