Orienting edges on two axis and corners. So the whole cube can be solved with U/D moves and 180° turns on the sides R2 L2 F2 B2

The first thing would be to practice PDR (Partial Domino Reduction) where you just do EO on two sides and don't worry about corners. I did a solve today where I was able to do PDR in 4 moves (Probably one of the shortest I've ever had) and then finished solving edges and 2 corners in 9 more moves. So I had 6 corners to insert at 13. Although EO, PDR, and DR restrict your movements, often blocks come together VERY easily.
