This is an impressive conductor. Generally beautiful physical connection to the sounds (openings of mvts. II & III notwithstanding). Even importantly he hears shape, and balances. This is high-level music-making, and all the more impressive for the youth of the orchestra, which means he must have taught them to listen and connect. Bravo!!!

I read this is a suite he arranged of music he wrote for a theatrical production for Prince Albert I of Monaco in 1919
Difficult to get spirit into the first movement at this tempo. And it's surely meant to be spirited.
