Perfect demonstration of "abusitis" Pin one is a guard pin and is standard. The rest are spools. The typical binding order for these is 1, 2, 1, 3, 1, 4, 1, 5, 1-->open You get a false set each time you set 1, lose it each time you set the next spool and drop one each time you set a spool. That's the way these open unless you start dropping spools too then you have to start doing different binding orders but you'll almost always drop one every time you set another spool
I'm just starting out & finally got my 60/40 open yesterday, what a frustrating lock. I'll try bok as you suggest to see if it picks different next time around. Nicely done
