I love that you called smallies “spunky”. What a great word 🤣 also I almost soiled my pants when that hook went into your finger.

I have been having luck with a double deceiver fly that is green and white. You might want to try it. It’s also easier to cast because the bucktail does not absorb as much water. Great fish by the way!

Double deceivers are one of my favorite pike flies! I'll definitely be using some soon👍

I'd count the snagged fish because you aren't snagging them on purpose. Those fish missed or slashed at your lure/fly because they were curious. Difference is when you are sight fishing and snagging fish or using a crank bait and hooking a carp.

How does the echo compare to the Clearwater? What's the reason you switched it up?

I just got the Echo to try some different brands. It's hard to compare since I don't have the same weight for either of them, although both have performed great so far.

hey man, could you put a cam on your head next time maybe? i beleive your hands could hide an attack sometime:(

I use to film with a head mount, but I'm not a fan of them. They're not very comfortable long term and sometimes you miss the strike because your looking away from the bait. There are down sides to both the head mount and the chest mount unfortunately.
