i love the skirt look, because often we take androginous as "masculine", like masculine is neutral and feminine is the "difference mark", but this isn't and we should fight for it. androginy can be (and is) being able to bring altogether femme and masc features

@@metra8604 it is perceived, but the point is not about wether or not (and there are skirts of multiple lengths, so revealing is relative). The point is androginy isn't about looking masc or hiding feminine features. Androginy can be either having altogether feminine and masculine traits or having none. We just gotta question if what we (as society and as counterculture and gender nonconforming specially) aren't just naming masculine features as neutral and dismissing feminine marks.
In my native language, there are two genders in grammar. Some theorises that there is the feminine and the masculine grammar genders, others says that what we call masculine is actually neutral and there is only gender flexing for feminine. That's actually one example, but it's just patriarchy in one way or another. But yeah, I'm 100% onto "assigned feminine traits are within the androginy group". That's just me though

I'm Christian and so is my family and I'm surprised at how accepting everyone is. Then again, when I was little, I'd often wear boy's pants and girl's shirts. Something that I've been loving mostly since they're the easiest thing to sew, are culottes. Basically shorts that are a thin fabric, and wide enough that they kind of look like a skirt. I made two and bought one at Walmart two years ago, and I wear them to church with button up shirts. It's a great look that can be pulled off by so many people. They also come in longer lengths if you don't want to show leg. I usually wear knee high socks because while I'm female, I stopped shaving my legs and just feel more comfy in socks. Then again, my church community has a diverse group of people and they're more used to different stuff. I think my more conservative family members are just glad to see me using my late grandmother's sewing equipment.
POV: you're having gender envy and you dont know whether you wanna be fem or masc so u search up how to look both and realize you dont have to pick and can be both but you're still panicking.

Tight sports bras under oversized sweaters are amazing for it! Oversized meaning past the hip, to keep it from looking too feminine
I have the same issue. Big hips and small shoulders make androgyny pretty much impossible.

Can't wait to get some of these once I grow out of my wardrobe! I think I like things with certain themes, like a starry outfit, and a more grungy/e-boy (I’m not a cringe TikTok eboy, don’t worry) outfit, and a yellow, lemon themed one. Cuffing all my trousers and jeans as well, also some skirts (that I hide from my parents) and overalls and hoodies and coats and HATS (god I love hats). I love androgynous clothing, as a cis male it’s how I show my style, I love this kind of clothing!

Thrifting is the BEST. I went thrifting for a whole summer closet and it all ( wich was 2 big bags of clothes ) only costed 55 dollars. Its really cheap and you can find really good shit!
After scoliosis surgery I’ll l be 5’3-5’5 and if I wear shoe inserts with combat boots I’ll be 5’7-5’10 so then I can truly experience gender euphoria

i have never made a timestamp comment thing before, so here it goes.
1:26 - monochromatic bro-outfit (featuring graphic tee and nikes)
1:47 - jumpsuit (specialty: T a l l & sidenote: layering necklaces which is truly brilliant)
2:17 - skirt & sweatshirt pairing (don't forget the platform boots, they complete it)
2:46 - farmboy goes to a barn party (again, the platform boots :D)
3:18 - cat shirt!! (i.e. that one art boy at a house show, and those platform boots :)))
3:50 - cow-outfit (the button up collar, thematic clothing/accessories, and those boots, wonderful)

I'm a cis guy wanting to highlight my "masculine" curves lol and I'm really struggling to find a look. I'm not a huge fan of baggy clothes, and since I'm tall, I have no idea how to find a "cute" look. That's basically my end goal: fun, cute, and a bit outgoing, but also a still a little masculine, maybe. I actually take a bit of inspiration from James Dean because of the simple and timeless look some of his outfits had.
