  • Welcome to our Spotlight Sessions, a series dedicated to conversations with change-makers and people that have made an impact on the community of people with disabilities.
In this episode, we had the opportunity to speak with Nikhil Shah, Digital Communications Officer at Epilepsy Society, a UK charity transforming the lives of people with epilepsy through world-leading research, advocacy and care. This episode was filmed in advance of Purple Day, an international grassroots effort dedicated to increasing awareness about epilepsy worldwide
Nikhil shared thoughts on the following topics:
    1. His passion for storytelling and how that drove him to nonprofit work.
    2. The digital experience for people with epilepsy and what to do when someone experiences a seizure.
    3. The organization helping to pass Zach’s Law, which aims to keep the internet safe for people with epilepsy.
