I used to work here. I was one of the younger employees most of the staff had been there 20 years and longer amazing work experience. 1998 to 2000 the only reason I left was because I got married and move to another state i worked in room service and if I was to ever move back to My home city. I’d probably consider a management position here because it has indeed left a great impression as it relates to cultural events and experiences in my workplace. Swartz was my Manager. 😊 great experience.

This is the best hotel and best location in the Crescent City. Stayed here once after living in the Pontalba growing up.
Quiet luxury, terrific meals from breakfast on, the Carousel Bar, the swimming pool!
You are on Royal Street a few blocks from the Cathedral and Jackson Square when you start to explore.
Tourists can stay in the motel chains-- and wonder which city they are in when they wake up.

The ONE place to stay! on Royal, with all the joys of the Vieux Carre within easy walking distance.

So I guess it's best to go in the Spring to avoid it being extremely hot or fall? Which would you suggest?

It depends on your preference. I am already from the south so while it was very hot it wasn't much outside what I am used to. If you are from a place with less humidity and/or cooler climate you may want to visit in early Spring or Fall. I know I plan to return next time in the spring or earlier summer.

@@Hairarchives its been raining almost every day for the past week but only for a few minutes then sun comes out and it dries up fast, sometimes we won't get rain for weeks but rarely you have a storm where it will storm for a few hours
