Even though the player character was designed to be more draconian and monstrous, that shot at 1:22 makes him look like a guardian angel
The Princess has described him as a bird multiple times, and we know he has wings
One Princess even mentions a beak
I agree, Our Protag 'Long Quiet' looks like a dark guardian angel tbh, with his dark feathers and hands, i wish people would make more artworks of that dude than princess

@@lasanova110 They are both omnipotent gods capable of erasing realities. I'm pretty sure that Long Quiet (player) is able to manipulate his body and change his appearance.
@@GOD-OF-DARKNESS-xc1oi I mean, when we're heading into the cabin and face the princess, we always change appearances (despite the fact that in cutscenes we have those dark raven-like hands), but when we're in the dark void - we literally become the "king of crows", that is when we touch the mirror.
Narrator being a hater will never not be funny. It's always fun seeing people's interpretations of the voices too!
I have no idea what Slay the Princess is so I click for curiosity and hear what sounds like Jonathan Sims. And I go and look up the game and learn that yes indeed, Jonathan Sims narrates this game. So in only experiencing Jon's voice in the context of various horror podcasts, him being completely done with the lovey dovey stuff is just fantastic.

When I first heard the Narrator's voice I thought "That sounds like Jonathon Sims, but I'm probably just thinking that because the voice actor is British and it's not actually him". I tell my friend about the game, they ALSO think it sounds like Jonathon Sims but agree we're both lumping all the Brits into one voice. We check the fan-wiki. It's Jonathon Sims 💀
I found Jonathan Sims from Slay the Princess first, but now that I've come back from listening to the Magnus Archives it's pretty interesting. (Though I've gotten too used to the stp voices too really see them as the same person😅 he also voice acts them really differently)
I mean, TMA did have some romantic moments sprinkled amongst the horror. Like the "you are my reason" moment.
The VA of the Princess also voices Podcasts and has a twitch-yt Channel; nichole goodnight

I can't believe at how it all fell into place. It's like me, my GF, Steve Harvey and Nyanners went and made a visual novel and it somehow turned into this pure art, deep metaphorical horror romance game

Well worth playing if you don't mind Horror to a degree. Very interesting game about how perspective changes people, and love is a factor in many different ways.
It’s a great game, not too expensive too. Got an update recently too so there’s some new content
It would be cool if the community for this game grew more and created other universes or more fanarts or comics for this game

@charliet627 Okay, so you get Witch. Bring the knife down. I think you talk with her for a bit before it lets you choose [Give her the knife out of goodwill]. Pick that. She'll take it and stab you afterwards. While you die, she gets all sad and confused. And then you have the Thorn!

Honestly the Thorn path is one of my favourites and you illustrated it SO WELL. All the voices' expressions are on point and the narrator is killing me 😂
Fan Fact: The creators actually said in a interview that the main protagonist has a beak but they didn't show it because it will be awkward when they kiss so instead they let us player inmagin the moment.

@@grizzlybee3072 actually they said it was more a Schrodinger's beak. Sometimes you have one, like that time in the adversary ending where she punches it off of you and you can see it stuck to the wall. Other times you don't.

All you have to know is that a big bird monster have lots of voices in his head and one of them tells him to slay a princess 😆

I love people first reaction to the game it called slay the princess it own steam it cheap but holy shit it worth 60 dollar prince unlike most triple A slop (okay maybe that a bit too far nevertheless) you have to get the game

Jonny Sims' voice is unmistakable, and this is juat lovely.
From the way each individual voice is drawn to their mannerisms (Smitten's sweeping gesticulations, Hero's stoic posture, Opportunist's sly nudge) to the fact that the Narrator is literally just a giant crow. Fantastic. It's like 4am, but I need more of this.
