Nova Drift is a 'rogue-lite' space shooter that melds a classic arcade experience with modern action-RPG elements like theory-crafting and deep player choice. Your ship rapidly evolves as you defeat enemies, allowing you to shape its abilities and weaponry to your desires in a matter of minutes. Unlike many ARPGs which can absorb hundreds of hours of time, Nova Drift allows you to take a ship build from inception to execution in a single game session.

crash builds are kinda hard to pull off but when you do they are so much fun
I had no idea this game was in early access, it just seemed finished. Good stuff!
Crazy that this is just now getting a 1.0 release. Probably going to have to grab this when I get home. It's so cool how many different builds can go down in this game.
Played for about 3 hours once I got home. I just wanted to keep doing run after run. I ended up getting my last run of the night to Star Eater using a hilarious build like the one in this video of Firefly and Thermal Lance with lots of burn and crashing nonsense. Fun stuff.
Additional projectiles does increase the bullets you create when you break bullets with your swords. There's a funny build there where you counter enemy attacks to fill the screen with bullets. Might not get very far, but it'd be fun to play for sure.

"Hey I got a great idea, asteroids but as a rougelite, should be simple enough...."
The more projectiles upgrade was increasing the number of shots you fired back when you hit enemy projectiles with your swords to deflect them.
Please do a series of this game, it’s a great game and I want to start watching a series of yours again
My favorite part was when he said "it's drifting time" and nova drifted the Star Eater.
Love to see nova drift lately, been doing some Engineer Quad Sword build with Interceptor Swordsman backups and it wrecks shit up...

The bonus projectiles on swords increases the projectiles reflected back btw

Ah, I love this game. Major props to the dev for the final release of one of my favorite games! And nice build Reto, that was some solid crash damage.
You get extra swords for extra cannons, so you would get more if you picked the hull that fires from both broadsides.

think added projectiles multiplied the reflected projectiles, so when you hit a bullet with the swords it shot back 3 weaker bullets.

To get more swords you can use a body like the battery or broadsider.
