Yo great tutorial, but I have some issues when you placed down the trapdoors at 3:57 I didn't know you had placed them down until a little later. Also, at the end of it I got extremely confused and had to go back to the original but other than that great job man!

do the wooden trapdoors have to sit at a exact point on the dirt block or can the open from botto, to top or do they have to be from top to bottom when clicking on them?
I accidently built on my right most plot so had to place the ladders manually but oh well, very nice walkthrough

I noticed a few comments complaining about your tutorial. I was able to follow it just fine. However, I can understand why it would be hard to follow for some viewers. Your tutorial included a lot of "this" and "that" and jump cuts which can make it a little difficult to follow along without rewinding. It may help to be more specific as you show what you are doing. Anyway, thanks for making this video!
Ive learnt from this now, i know it was a little hard to understand for some people but my latest videos should be better than this!

where did the trapdoors come from? i didnt see it in the video and now i got confused when you told us to place something next to the trapdoors
clearly he dint put it in the video but just use ur brain and u will know where to put them
for placing trapdoors i put my ranchers boots on 115 and it workd well

i was able to follow it although you did skip maybe 1 or 2 details but i was still able to do it but i can see why some people would find it hard to follow but besides that good video dude

hey, the video is really good but what is the name of the song at the end of the vid?
i spent 40 minutes building this farm only to learn that the basic superflat preset in the garden is one layer to high for the farm so the top row or melons can't be grown
imma be honest it feels like half the video is missing like im going back into the video to rewatch cos it feels like stuff just happens and it doesnt get shown or its sort of just "so u do this, and then keep doing it till the end"
yeah i apologise for the scuffness of the video, upon releasing it i realised how much i accidentally cut out, newer videos shouldnt have this issue. Appreciate the feedback

Great tutorial. Was able to follow along easily but can you explain why the bottom half you use a wooden trapdoor and the top half you use iron trapdoor? 6:57
Bc you dont need to close them i think
it was changed to that since suntzu had an ocd type thing and since it was quicker to not flip the top trapdoors to be it was replaced with iron so you couldnt physically flip them
when i do it, there are 6 blocks from the end of the plot after the 2 tnt. is that normal?
Please try and reduce on the cuts, there were multiple times where you cut out things that you built/destroyed something, and didn't show it, it makes it pretty hard to follow along.

I use quite a lot of mods, Skyhanni, HoeUtilitiesV3, PartlySaneSkies (Thats all i can think of for now)

What mod has the yaw and pitch box? I'm using blc (bad lion client), and I can't find the mod because I don't really know what to search up to find it. If it is a mod in neu or skyhanni, I can use those mods while farming.

i have done the whole preset land thing so it will be bedrock so i can build but it tells me that "block drops are disabled on this plot becuase its a custom preset" so does that mean if i build the farm i wont get the melons that grow?
you can still get crops
how did u make ur plots just void and bedrock? does it matter if mine is just a normal superflat?
You remove all the dirt and purchase all the plots to have it look like it’s the void

i have a few (problems) 1. i can only use -59 pitch otherwise i hit the ladders and while farming with 400 speed i seem to miss a couple pumpkins at the top row should i use less speed or am i doing smth wrong

this is the exact same video as the one linked in the description, but with less clear information. Its too overedited in the worst ways. if you're going to copy a video, make it transformative and more clear

Using plots 21-23 will allow the builders rule to place the ladders correctly, if you use another plot you’ll have to place the ladders manually

Thank you ofc there are a few misleading things but nothing major besides the fact that you are on bedrock which definatly could be a problem i see others would have not relising it's because the height limit and just for easier understanding on our part but still very good not to slow but not too quick and very simple
Everyone is able to get to bedrock, so it shouldnt be an issue

If you hadn’t destroyed your plot to bedrock. Then no it won’t work

you could definitely build the farm faster there have been a few later discovered things since the suntzu tutorial that speed up the building process

@@ActuallyBear the iron trapdoors and the dirt holding it not needed the trapdoors where the players head is could be replaced by ladders to half the player interaction amount and the snow can use trapdoors ontop of it instead since you can place snow directly under trapdoors unlike signs

You have any tips about the Pests? Because they will lower the farming fortune
use the pest repellent from the shop. works like a dream. also make sure if you have the pest accessory take it off.
how are you getting "infinite" soulsand? I know about the infinitdirt wand, but I'm quite new so I'm not familiar with a soulsand version. I'll just be buying it manually I guess, lol.
I think you just buy it manually and stick it in a builders ruler which you can buy from skymart

left click with it while facing the sky so it doesnt think your interacting with a block

The farm earns you 17.2m/hr it says this both on the thumbnail and title, if you got 17.5m/h you probably got lucky with the RNG drops

Hey guys, do the switching points have to be with snow? or can they be any other block.
you should use snow as they can be placed at the same level as the soul sand so you dont get stuck on the block because soul sand is like 1 pixel lower than normal blocks. Also make sure your using snow not snow blocks (3 snow blocks across the top of a crafting grid)

Depending on your garden level, i think at garden level 12 you could get away with 4 plots. but i would do 5 plots just to be safe

it wont be fully infinite, but you could probably continously farm and just not get as much

hey guys so i build the farm and i do as he said to farm so i clikc ''w'' and then d or a deoens on the direction but when i farm it goes slightly on leftand i need to click ''w'' constantly to farm all 3 melons or just hold it which decreases the speed we farm anyone knows why? i made the farm from dowen to up not left to right and i wonder if its beacuse i maked it from down to up or just something broke

Why did you build this to only take up part of each plot? If i use the whole plot, could I use fewer plots in total?
you could use fewer plots in total, i believe you can just fit more farms in there and you dont have to take that many turns because you just go longer into one direction

what you could do is buld this farm twice but sperate on the same plots for pumpkin and melon

you can build a melon & a pumpkin in the same plot using this design
why cant i place water on iron trapdoors like he did, it places the water on the block above
you have to place the trap doors on the block on the bottom not the one on top

1. Unlock plots
2. Clear a plot (only 1) to bedrock
3. Save it as a preset
4. use them on the remaining plots

It would depend on your garden level if you wanted to build it like this on 3 plots. Though you could make more lanes and fill the entire plot with the melon farm, this would then only need 3 plots

you casn build it the same just 1 plot down so u dont have to buy the corner pieces of the garden making it alot cheaper

i've had to rewatch about 7 times and its taken me over 2 hours to build, this is by far the hardest tutorial i've seen.
try watching the original video in the description because he is more clear on how to build the actual farm and its easier to follow whereas this video is more for content sake and showcasing the farm

Turn your sensitivity all the way down. Tip: get the angle and then setspawn so you always have it

Try jumping. I had the same problem and jumping fixed it. If you have mushroom soup maybe you're flying as well.

when i fall of it says Your spawn location was obstructed so you were spawned at the highest non-obstructed point! and its reseting my yaw any ideas?
Need to break the soul sand and replace with a full sized block like wood planks or cobble. Also no water or trap doors on the block

Last night i ended up rebuilding my garden different to this tutorial, its the same farm but i also added a pumpkin and a netherwart farm in the same plot. I didnt use snow layers this time to see if it really made much of a difference and it honestly didnt make too much of one
