- With the release of Hypixel Skyblock's Garden 1.5 Update, there are NEW ways to get and upgrade farming fortune. This guide covers every possible way to get more farming fortune in Skyblock, and gives you a recommended order to progress through them based on cost and convenience. It's not the only way to do it, but if you want to know what to get next, try this video! Some steps overlap or take longer, so it's a little hard to order them exactly, but I think I got an approximate order that works pretty well! Got a better suggestion? Leave it in the comments below!

A little note, since the Garden 1.8 update from the 21st of April (i think) you don't need a light source to grow crops, so you can entirely skip the night saver to farm on the garden

@@PabloGeneyro as the guy said, for the day saver you need sunflowers that you can ONLY get from flower minions, cheapest for go for 15m, and the night saver just requires quartz collection 2, 15 brown mushrooms and 15 quartz

one thing to mention, things that are tool specific only upgrade for 1 crop, things that go on armour or equipment work on every crop, which is what i like to call "global farming fortune", meaning its essentially 10x more worth it to get upgrades for armour/equipment as it works on every crop instead of just one

M a returning player to skyblock took a break for 2-3 years glad to come across this guide that’s gives me a great method of earning money.
By the way, most people still don't know this, but you can axe swap with the lantern helmet to get the benefits of it with a hoe.
(wear the hat, equip an axe, go into your inventory and swap the axe with your hoe of choice)
I can't speak to whether it still works, but last time I checked (a few days ago) it did
Yep! This can be useful if you have farming levels and want to use a hoe with a little boost! Helmet gets outclassed by other gear, but very early this can be nice

Additional info
The FF displayed in the tab menu doesn't include anything crop specific, like level bonuses and the counter bonuses from goes or the bonuses from garden specific crop upgrades from garden level.
In reality where the tab me u tells me I am ff1031 for cane it's actually much nearer ff1300 with all the other bonuses.
I have checked this extensively.

Really nice video, idk if anyone said it but even with just 1 plot of land wheat, carrots, and potatoes are super easy to get bronze. Just spend 25 copper to get the hoe with replenish and you’re good. And once you do that 8 times I would buy the pumpkin Dicer, spend 160 copper to put sunder V on it, and that should also be enough to get bronze.

Hey fun fact , at the start you should participate in the Jacob contests because even though you don't have bronze you still get a ticket, which is worth like 50k on bazaar
I didn't think about the monetary value of the ticket! You only need to break a teeny bit of the crop to get the participation prize too!

As of a few patches ago crops "Do Not Require" Light Levels to grow anymore. You do not need to make it always day and you can just get a Nightvision Charm.

Everything you said was spot on, except for the Jacob's contests. Level 100 Elephant with Yellow Bandana, Full Reforged Croppie doesn't guarantee Silver in any contests. People have advanced way too far now, and should know that before expecting to hopefully get Silver.
Depends on your farming level, but yeah, the goalposts for different medals are always moving as more ppl get more farming fortune :(

You can start with Sugarcane also. You will not get the max Farming xp per crop but you can use the Enchanted Sugarcane to boost your Alchemy levels and there by giving you more God Potion buff time. Use a Sheep pet when grind Potion making then if you are not using mage build sell the max level sheep pets for profit on the AH.

@@Thorpian most player grind the enchanted sugarcane and put it back for Derpy Mayor but you can get your God Potion up to 18 hours with just 10minutes of Alchemy work then hit the rest up during the Derpy Event. But the base is like 12 hours so it is worth a little boost.
A tip for early game is that if you want purely more FF (not more drops like squash) replace the farming set helmet with lantern helmet and hold an axe (any) then open your inventory and swap your axe with the hoe (drag it do not shift click)

For the personal compactors, it is probably the easiest if you set up red stone minions with the compactor that gets it to enchanted red stone blocks. Wheat minions can give you collection, as well as feed the composter. Pumpkins are a big way to get xp, and it is one of the easier crops to farm. There are many design videos for farms that you need to get cropie, squash, and fermento armor. This video is very useful, but the best designs can be found in other videos.

finally a guide that is useful for new players and doesn't expect some level 5 noob to have 300M coins somehow. I saw so many videos like "what you need is this 100M pet and then a 60M ---" and it's like... what new player starts with 160M coins lmfao.
A few things though, as this video is a little old - as of right now, Booster Cookies are hovering in the ~8.5M coin range, so not cheap at all. Pretty sure Mooshrooms and Elephants have also gone up a fair amount.
I'd also say (from my perspective), that for early-mid game, go for the Pumpkin armour - the Lantern Helm and Farmer Boots; both give +1 fortune for each farming level you have, although the helmet only works if you have an axe (so good for Pumpkins/Melons/Cocoa).

Mushroom farm is easy to build but need grinding since you need garden 10. Its easy with grinding farming milestones so I suggest making a sugarcane, pumpkin farm atleast.

Also to everyone use the COMPOSTER and Upgrade it good so you get a lot of those composts I refill every like 1/30 hour and get like 30-40 and after like 2/20 Stacks u can make a compost bundle and sell order it for 7M its rly good to do it here and then...( also use oil Barrel for fuel if u buy order 1 Stack its about 1.8m so not that much 😊 also for crop i use enchanted seed and hay bale i think ita good ) Thats it from me 😀

29:20 Higher tier Melon and Pumpkin axes give better Roll em drops, which gives a lot of effective farming fortune
melon/pumpkin dicer got buffed along with their respective upgrades so i think upgrading them is good now
Oooh they drop different amount of crops now when upgraded. I'll have to do the math but it could be much better now than before

I really like this video and agree with everything EXCEPT one thing. So I’m gonna be honest with you guys, I just hit farming level 35 and it’s gonna take a while to get to 40. Skipping over Squash armour entirely isn’t even really better than just buying fermento because you need the farming levels anyways so even if you upgrade to squash at level 35, you can most likely farm everything to get up to full fermento by the time you hit farming 40, even before that tbh. So theoretically you aren’t gaining a whole lot but you aren’t really losing any money either since ur farming everything you need to craft the fermento armour. You can also craft the ranchers boots instead of buying them
now that squash prices have dropped, I could be convinced that it's worth upgrading. Just make sure you do all at once and switch crops (to retain extra bonus drops).

you can get dedication 4 easier if you farm on a bingo profile specifically to get it (or wait for bingo bc prices might fall because of it)
This is true! Bingo can let you have a smaller pool of visitors so the librarian will come more often (I tested this on a Livestream and there are some interesting spawning mechanics, but I figured out why and gonna make a video about it for next bingo). Last time, the prices didn't rly fall, but ppl didn't know about this so maybe they will next time.
I honestly wouldn’t skip squash bc farming 40 takes a really long and you can get fermentos while grinding netherwart with squash and netherwart is best for money.
This was a fantastic guide! It was extremely helpful for my progression. I was wondering, though, is the (legendary) mooshroom cow pet ever better than the elephant? Because I've heard that it is. If so, how much strength does it need to be better and how do you optimize strength and farming fortune?
So before the garden updates, mooshroom cow could reasonably get better farming fortune (not counting the mushrooms) than elephant with lots of strength. Because of changes, the mooshroom cow cannot give more farming fortune than the elephant (because new farming fortune reforges and gear are so much better now). However, the mooshroom cow is better than the elephant for money (because it gives mushrooms) for farming some crops.

The Mooshroom Cow is better for farming mushrooms, which you probably already know.
Using a daedalus axe is better than fungi cutter for true farming fortune (with green bandana and lvl 100 mushroom cow), but ONLY if it has Chimera 5.
This is because Eleph = 240 FF (only *60 is copied by chimera and dae ax*), while mushroom is 170 FF + strength/20 (270 + strength/20 for mushrooms, *170 copied by Dae ax*)
Since chim 5 dae adds 200% of pet stats, it gives +340 for mooshroom cow, and you lose 70 FF from not using elephant. This is a net gain of 270, which is bigger than the FF of fungi cutter and cocoa chopper.
In fact, the Daedalus axe with chimera 5 is better for any crop whose tool gives less than 270 true farming fortune when maxed, but the only crop seems to be mushrooms and cocoa. (Not counting melon/pumpkin dicer, because of RNG perk making those tools WAY better). Since hoes give a ton of FF, I think the only possible crops it could be better for FF on are mushroom, cocoa, and cactus, although cactus knife is obviously better for cactus, even if it gives less farming fortune.
A maxed Cocoa chopper gives 93.5 non-hidden FF. Add the +20 for item ability, +25 from turbo cocoa, + 92 from dedication 4 and 46 cocoa milestones, you get 230.5 True FF, which is less than 270.
Plus you will get a little more farming fortune from strength.
Unfortunately you can't put replenish on the dae axe, so it really can't be used for cocoa.
TL,DR: If you are very rich, the optimal mushroom/cocoa setup is Mooshroom Cow + Green Bandana + Chimera 5 Daedalus Axe

Hello, first of all very good video and I also like your cocoa Farm. But I am Level 35 now and I cant understand why it is better to skip the squash Armor cause I think its a long way to lv 40 so maybe it would be better to farm with the new armor?
Based on the prices at the time, cocoa was as good or better to farm than other crops for money. You can't get squash with squash armor (only fermento), so to have less crop switches and thus be able to use less tools, as well as maxing the amount of money you can get with cocoa, I recommended skiping squash (if ur upgrading ur own armor as most will do, this is a temporary thing since you'll upgrade it anyway).
the garden is so strong still played now for the 4th day and have a personal compactor 6k over 150k wheat collection and still over 2m on the bank

But definitely wait to upgrade all 3 pieces at once and be aware that you won't get the squash when doing squash crops until u get fermento armor

Used to be, but with the addition of the green belt pet item and new farming fortune reforges, it's not worth to reforge stuff to strength boost over FF boost or to use Minos relic instead of green belt. I don't believe there is any achievable str level that gives more ff

Depends on prices at the time you're doing it. 95% of the time, it's cheaper to craft ur own, but it rly depends on how many mossy sets are for sale (more ppl selling = more competition = lower prices)
hey im alr at farming 31 w all croppie nd ranchers nd i have a pretty maxed out pumpkin dicer 3.0 should i farm pumpkins or cocoa (i also have a cocoa chopper)
btw you can get bronze with one plot with famers boots and a harvesting V hoe, 200 speed minimum on wheat, sugar cane and carrots easily
