- The Sisters of the Visitation celebrate 400 years of contemplative life. Correspondent Peggy Weber takes viewers inside their cloistered community in Tyringham, Massachusetts for an in-depth look into their lives.
I am touched by this film about the Visitation Sisters. It is so good to know that there is a monastery that will accept the handicapped and the elderly; many orders will not. May GOD Bless these sisters and their 400 year order and may it continue for 400 years more!
I know this is an old post, but I have to comment, I never thaught it was right for a community to turn away a person because there too old or there handicapped, so this caught my attention, Im glad there are a few places that accept women of different statuses and abilities. Sounds like a very interesting community of women.
Thank you for sharing your life and love with me, May God's grace and blessings pour over each of you and please remember to pray for me. I love the Lord and he is the deepest desire in my soul.
In His heart,
Phyllis
Please Lord with your divine wisdom

The world urgently needs holy people
bless all the sisters all around the world
These are my dearest sisters. If, God forbid, something were to happen to my dear husband, I would sell everything and come to these sisters. I love them.
I would too
I loved the video on the Visitations Sisters.
I LOVE St. Jane Frances de Chantal! So happy to see about this order, and that they are wearing the same habit. How cool is that!!
I remember the very very first time I saw a Nun in Habit, even as a young child, I just knew there was a peace that came across. Without saying one word, I knew I was safe.
These particular Nuns are amazing. No, it's not a life for everyone, though anyone can benefit from silence and prayer. Just seeing a Nun in Habit gives me hope, peace, true feelings of happiness. Silence allows one too hear God speak. Is it literal? This depends on the depth of one's belief. I surely believe God does talk to us, but we must be silent and listen. In those moments, that is when our prayers become so important. Not just to the Sisters, but to the community and those with special needs. Prayer is very powerful.
These amazing Nuns truly are Gods greatest conduits for those looking for peace......
God be with them........🌈💒
May God bless you dear Sisters of the Visitation

It ain’t that great, the number of nuns has declined from 180,000 in the 60’s to about 50,000 a 70%+ drop
Because of VATICAN II!
Mary can not interceed for us. Only Jesus can. Stop worship idols
6 months ago, I probably would have agreed with you. I can only speak for myself. but, Jesus Christ sent His Mother to show me that He loves me almost 5 months ago. She has shown me complete Joy, Love, Mercy of a Loving Mother. The Immaculate Conception has been interceding for me since then to Her Son, My Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I'm just testifying. God Bless You.

Jesus Christ is God and that makes Mary the mother of God. Think about it this way! If He did not think of His mother as Special, then why should He think about you or any other human as special, and yet He does. He wants all humans to attain proper repentance and salvation. You can do this through Mary. Look up a Jewish man named "Alphonse" who was Atheistic and was challenged by a Priest to say the Holy Rosary everyday for 9 days before the statue of Mary in the Church. He took the challenge and not long after starting he swore the Blessed Mother Mary spoke to him. He was so shocked he insisted he had to be and was baptized a Catholic immediately. He remained a devout Catholic never missing the Holy Rosary everyday for the rest of his life.
Keep your Protestant belief to yourself! Catholics have the true Church. You belongs to a man-made church.
