I used to write fanfictions about fighting book characters I hated. Also I'd write fanfictions about characters I did like fighting characters I didn't like.
In Cath's defense, during my first semester of college, I ate granola bars for meals if my roommates had eaten without me because I didn't want to go alone. It is a little insane that she couldn't find it, but the not wanting to eat alone thing was pretty debilitating. So it's not completely unrealistic.
My first semester I ate a shit ton of pop tarts, granola, ect because I didnt want to walk up the ridiculous hill to the cafeteria
my campus had a bus system but i was too terrified to ask anyone how it worked and never used it. i walked miles each day in the searing heat because my anxiety was so debilitating. i was intimidated by my roommates, too, so i only ate things that i didn’t have to go into the common area to cook. it’s definitely not unrealistic!

Maxon from The Selection was getting abused by his father. He was trying to do right by the people but his dad would never let him. Yes those books aren't the best but Maxon is actually a pretty good character imo.

I'm from Scandanavia, and when I grew up and read about these girls with "brown hair and brown eyes" I always thought: "THEY ARE SO LUCKY! I wish I looked so special." There was literally ONE girl in my class with brown eyes. I think there was like 2 boys, and one of them was an immigrant.
To me the most basic is light brown/blonde hair and blue eyes.

I've never read Fangirl, but just from hearing the situation and being someone with anxiety myself, it can get that bad lol. Oftentimes what people with anxiety do can seem ridiculous and childish, but for some of us it's our only way of coping. Not saying it's healthy, but it is the reality.
Fun fact: I spent my entire junior year without a text book because I was too scared to tell the teacher she never gave me one. Long story short, I flunked the class. I'm a mess 😂
I want to fight Aspen Leger from The Selection because he made me mad af throughout the whole book series. And (unpopular opinion incoming) I want to fight Piper from Heroes of Olympus because I thought she was useless in most of the books and way too focused on Jason.
