if u dont have a boot img file for ur rom u might instead have a payload bin file. U need to use a payload dumber to extract out the boot file in this case.

after the fastboot the phone just shows "fastboot" in the middle of the screen. if I then do fastboot flash boot "file path of flashed boot file" it says "waiting for any devices". so it seems to not recognize the phone anymore. help?

No it doesnt. When it was shown its booted up the wallpaper is the same and everything is the same except for the fact the phone is now rooted. Short answer was No.

Please help me.... If I update the phone with OTA. the phone and root the phone with magisk patched boot file. its gets in to a recovery bootloop. It fix If I patch the original one. But that is not what I want, I want to have root. NON TWRP
So how to fix this?

ota updates restores the boot. so you need to path the ota build's boot and flash

ok, may be you didnt fully uninstalled magisk before updating your device. you should full uninstall magisk from inside magisk app. then flash ota or full update. then start the procedure from beginning
