According to what Molly said on Swedish TV its done without autotune on her voice. It is her voice and her way of performing the song without computer aided singing. It is great. She can sing with feelings. That is rare to hear today. Thank you Netflix for this.

@@FuzioNda1337 First of all playback does not equal fake. secondly, I can watch it a thousand times mate, at 1:32 there's a sharp inhale and her mouth is completely closed. She opens it a second later to sing. Your other link is live yes but it also doesn't sound as good which really only helps my point. Actually listening to your link made me realize how much this version sounds like the one on spotify. But since you seem to know the people who worked on the series I guess you win, good job!

Just spent several months in Sweden and the Swedish kids are a big fan of hers. It wasn't until I heard the Eurovision song though that I realized what an incredible voice she has. I'm not sure I've heard anything like it. This one is pretty good too. I hope she teams up with the Eurovision song-writers to come up with a song to win Eurovision for real!
she has tried to enter three times (2009, 2012 and 2015) but she has never won the national selection (melodifestivalen). She has competed in junior eurovision though.
She is more likely to perform at Esc in Sweden next year!

I have no idea what she's saying but i could listen to her sing all day. Absolutely amazing voice. I've never been moved to tears by a song the way she does it. Lyrics are one thing but the pure indescribable sound of her voice is unlike anything I've heard.

The title of the song is Pink Sky and with rather idiosyncratic lyrics describe a summer night in Stockholm(maybe). It is written in a mix of Swedish and English and makes little sense in either.

Alejandro Dezag yeah that would been nice, unfortunately this is based on book i think an pretty old book actually and the book writer did not write more than this so this is everything that was in the book and that is why it just is 1 season of this, but yeah would been nice with a second season but probably wont happened, i wish i could forget this series so i would be able to experience it again but without remembering anything from this series

But in general - not in this case - artists always have some amount of mixing and FX on their mics if its professionally recorded. And this doesnt make it less real, less impressive or anything. Tror att det var så att Molly egentligen skulle vara en karaktär som kände Amanda eller nåt och hon skulle sjunga på begravningen. Men sen så kom inte scenen när hon sjunger med i avsnittet.
Molly skulle inte vara med som en karaktär i serien, men ungdomarnas favoritlåt (rosa himmel) och idol var Molly och därför skulle Molly framföra den på begravningen. Men då hela serien utspelar sig ifrån Majas perspektiv är begravningen och andra scener, inklusive en av huvudrollerna bortklippta. Detta pågrund av att Maja sitter i fängelse eller inte är med i dessa scener. Det är inte ovanligt att mycket materiel klipps bort efter avslutad inspelning för att man tex valt att byta vinkling på storyn.✌🏼

As explained by Jonathan Johansson, who wrote the song (his original version: czcams.com/video/rBYGYf23Mn4/video.html), this song is about his disdain of modern capitalism, while at the same time realizing that we're all a part of it and feeding from it. It's kinda about both the beauty and disgrace of modern society. About on one hand hating a place but on the other hand inevitably falling in love with its' beauty and allure. I've seen many english translations of this song, but I don't think they quite capture what it's really about or what Jonathan (or in this case Molly) is trying to say. So I tried my best to translate it in a way I feel is more close to the actual meaning of the song. Rosa himmel means pink sky, but I went with twilight skies instead. I have marked some words or lines with *, which I explain below the lyrics.

*"Bullshit city": Jonathan/Molly actually sings "Bull city", which is short for "bullshit city" which is a nickname of Stockholm.
*"The graduates are losing it, blasting house music from the truck beds": This refers to a ceremonial thing that happens all over Sweden in early June. When people graduate from High School in Sweden, it is custom that every high school class rents a truck (not a pick-up truck, but rather a big truck with an open flatbed) and have someone drive them around the city, while having a party on the truck bed, blasting loud music, jumping, screaming, cheering and just celebrating. It's kind of a celebration parade of sorts. Often with a lot of alcohol involved.

You seem to have switched up the words a bit. Correct English would be "Above all else," but I'm more inclined to go with Ebba's translation which would be more accurate as a direct translation. I'd even say "The greatest of it all" is as close as we get for a direct translation.
