I think Covid has made me realise that UO requires a lot of personal drive and focus to complete to a high standard. Hats off to anyone who has the determination to get a great grade doing an online only degree!

I'm also studying online, and the Open University isn't the only place to provide this. I'm doing a comedy writing course with the University of Falmouth's online programme Falmouth Flexible, all from my own home!

Always surprises me how few people don't wonder about the basics like, what is money, what makes it valuable, when I look at GDP what does it really mean etc. when they are growing up.
I created my own corporation with only $100 and then hired myself. I pay the corp for services and then collect the money back in pay (and then keep doing it all over again). I'm very happy to announce that I am now a billionaire. Thanks Lucas for showing me the way...

and there’s the minimum wage for 16/17 years olds that’s £4.62 an hour. that’s less than £38 for a whole day’s work. 😐

@@friedanau4591 No, I have been to england and the difference is not that big in the prices, not at all. We are just a poor country xD
Economists models in general are just...pretty bad. In terms of "a science" it's barely even a science, as it's horrible at predicting outcomes. I def give it the qualifier of "social science".
Talking of lots of random people handing over £10 to you... any news on the film?
If you get rid of money altogether you'd solve at least 95% of world problems, you change the way charity is as we know it, and thus the world as we know it. I may have just been the mouth but one day there's going to be someone one day who may not have even heard of me but still hold the same ideals and money won't be forever. There will be a balance shift to work through though. If you can get everything for free and you can actually do what you want to do even if it means staying home and at least attempt growing a food that means there will be more commercials for jobs than products. The food and doctors have to come from somewhere. Being shut down for a year would have been a good time to build that bridge over night....infrastructure. "but...but...but that could never work"......what's that thing all these life coaches talk about "if you're going to talk about it like that then maybe...flip the script and who knows" "if you dont at least consider you may never know."
